Another trick I learned on Rachael Ray - lay them on a cooling rack on top of the baking sheet to make them crispy.

Here is the actual recipe for exact instructions:

I love Baked Sweet Potato Fries. Mine are never crispy though.

After slicing the sweet potato into strips, I spray Pam on them. I add garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and Mrs. Dash Original over the sweet potato strips then mix thoroughly. I lay the sweet potato strips on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. After 5-6 minutes (depends on thickness of strips), I flip the sweet potato strips over for another 5-6 minutes. After a total of 10-12 minutes total, they are ready to eat.

Mine aren't crispy, but they are low in calories and contain no added salt. Also, I avoid olive oil since it's high in calories. I know olive oil has some benefits. However, I would rather use Pam cooking spray than olive oil and take fish oil pills.

Just slice the 1 potato then add 1 table spoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of rosemary then bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes each side. Delish!

Pretty much the same for me, except I use cajun seasoning instead of rosemary.

A little tip...they can be rock hard to cut, so try throwing it in the microwave for a minute or two before you start slicing..makes things easier.

Oh, and there's a honey mustard salad dressing (Paul Newmans Light HM) that is fantastic for dipping them in.

Now I want to make some myself
