I'm aiming to get to 212. That's the weight I was when I stopped logging and my life fell apart 7 years ago. I'm currently at 230, hoping to make it by end of year. I'll still have many pounds to go, but first I need to get back to where I once was22

To get below 92kgs. i plateaued for a month and then eventually got frustrated and gave up. went to 94 in the next 15-20 days. Finally reeling it back in. Not seeing success on scale sometimes gets into your head. Especially if you're trying hard.11

My current mini goal is to lose 1 pound, which will put me at 135 (and 80 pounds lost), the lowest I've been since I began this weight loss journey in July of 2020. After that, my next goal will be an additional 2 pounds, which will put me at my goal weight of 133. At that point, I will re-assess and consider a possible change in goal weight. I'm 5'3". My lowest adult weight that I recall was 120; that was 50 years ago. I will consult with my doctor.15

I need to get down to 209 to qualify with my plastic surgeon to start the process of getting prior authorization for a panniculectomy. I’ve qualified with my insurance for years, but my surgeon wants 16 more pounds. I think I can manage that by Christmas at the latest! What a great Christmas present to myself!
Congrats! I'm interested in how you feel overall. Do you notice a drastic improvement in your joints or back? This is an area I have a lot of pain in.
Absolutely! I started out with 3 pinched herniated disks in my back that were painful enough that I was physically dependent on OxyContin (luckily never got addicted), and had arthritis in my knees that made it hard to get up and walk around. Now, I almost never have back pain, and the only times my knees hurt are if I cross them in a half lotus for too long! All of the disks in my thoracic and lumbar spine are now herniated, but there isn’t nearly as much weight being held up by them, so they don’t hurt. And the arthritis in my knees had actually gotten worse, and I have to take glucosamine again (I AM 52!), but it doesn’t bother me as long as I take my supplement and keep active.
I hope you are able to get through your pain to a place where you at least don’t hurt as much.

I started out weighing 450 pounds, so that will be half of my body weight! A whole person! And a big one too! I’m going to buy myself a new dress to celebrate!

Wow - congratulations - somehow, in my mind, the math supports you buying yourself two new dresses!
I did, actually, end up buying two dresses, but one of them I bought online when I got to 225, and it hasn’t gotten here yet and I’ve already dropped a size and it will be too big! But my husband sent me shopping last night to get something that fit so I would have a Hell Yeah! outfit, and now I do. It’s under “Pictures Only”.

My goal has been to get to normal bmi before a physical at Mayo Clinic at the end of November. I am at 156.6 lbs today and am 5' 3". I need to be less than 140 lbs to have normal bmi. I just did the math, and I can't realistically do it. I will get closer, but I won't be "normal". I will not be discouraged though. Close is better than not close!16

My first mini-goal is to reach 170#'s.7

My mini goal is to eat when I am hungry. I do not know how a "normal" person eats. Does that sound weird to you?19

It doesn't, though that was not an approach that works for me, because I like food! Food is tasty! and what I've had to learn is what hunger feels like and what "I've had enough for now" feels like.
Some people can intuitively eat and get a lot from that, and more power to you if you can.

Today I'm 40.7lbs down. My next mini-goal is to hit 50lbs down.18

About 4 years ago I lost 40 lbs with myfitnesspal, and kept it off for the most part! At that time, I was motivated by an upcoming international trip and I wanted to look good in pictures. I had taken a trip a few years prior to that and I hated all of my pictures and never showed anyone. So this time would be different. I was a very happy size 6 in all my jeans. I've gained about 15lbs in the past year. Lately, I just want to get back into my regular size 6 clothes and have my old jeans fit me again (not tight, with a little room to spare) I just feel so uncomfortable in all my clothes now. I tried on my old skinny jeans and it hurt to wear them. I always told myself that if I ever start to gain again, I would not buy bigger clothes, I would just lose weight again. I know what I need to do. I have the willpower within me. I've done it before and I can do it again!20

My mini goal is to stabilize around 145 for the winter. I got below 145 but am around 147 right now and fluctuating - part of it is the effects of fiber and water, I'm sure. But I'd like to maintain that till the new year, after which point I want to lost 15ish pounds.11

I'm 4 lbs away from a 50 lb loss
I'd like to be there by the end of October 😊17 -
I started doing EPIC (10 week workout series by Caroline Girvan on yt) yesterday. I'd love to be able to do full pushups by the end of it. I can already see the muscles in my back being more defined. Also I'd love to get strength in my abs back.
I was on a wheelchair for months a few years ago and my abs still haven't fully recovered.
Besides those fitness goals, my nest goal is to weight 110 kg. I'm not putting any time limit on it, I'm in it for the long run. If I keep doing what I do I'm sure I'll get there.11 -
My mini goal is to get below 160. Got down to 160.0 in July, then went off the wagon. Weighed 165.5 yesterday. Hoping to do it before Thanksgiving13

I'm looking forward to being in the 120s. Current weight is 133. 129 will be worth celebrating. My way of celebrating is to go "thrifting" in the extra-smalls and smalls, size 6 dresses, and size 6-8 slacks. My former sizes were 2XLs and size 22 slacks. Life has changed so much for the better.17

I want to do OMAD 5 days this week and I need to do the C25K Week 3 exercises.9

My goal is 15lbs down before February when I have to see my mean mother in law again.17

I want to get into the 170's, and my NSV mini-goal is to be able to wear my wedding ring again after 10 years of puffy fingers!11

My mini goal right now is to wear my favourite jeans again (they're very old!). 9 or 10 pounds should do it. I've even taken a photo of myself wearing them, showing the gap between button and button hole, as a reminder. It's my screen saver.
More pressing mini goal is not to buy any high sugar snacks when I go grocery shopping tomorrow. It's easier to resist snacks when there are none in the house.

Loosing the last 15 lbs of my stuck at home COVID weight gain. As of today, I'm down 10lbs.7

Goodness, I totally forgot I have a gala in 7 days 🤦🏼♀️
I'd like my dress to fit me perfectly in stead of being tight. I bought a new one but it was already to big on me a week ago so definitely won't be wearing that. Anyway my mini goal is to fit into a semi old dress perfectly. Last time I wore it I could barely sit down it was too tight but I tried it on a weekish ago and it fit me way better than before. Since I've been working out and losing weight I'm sure I'll fit it better now.7 -
To learn some darn restraint when someone offers me food! Lol!10

Get into a healthy BMI. This is the first time I let go of my body and got serious consequences. So the next mini goal is to get in the healthy BMI range! Damn losing weight is HARDDDD!10

Mini Goal: Losing 50 pounds by March (40th birthday!)5

I haven't said anything to anyone about it until just a few days ago...but to go skydiving when I get down to 225 lbs. A couple of years ago, I mentioned to a friend that I had always wanted to do that. She got together with some others and went without me, I was too heavy to go. (Some 'friend' huh?) I have almost hit the 80 lbs lost mark, and technically could even go now, but they charge a bit more if you are over 230. So now it's a pride thing. I am at 235, so I am getting pretty close. My husband, who is not an adrenaline junkie, has actually even said he would go with me. He has been really supportive of it all
My big goal will be the one I started out with on here 10 years ago...to be under the weight limit (fully clothed) to go on the Grand Canyon/Phantom Ranch Mule Ride. 10 years ago, I got to within 10 pounds of my goal, and then fell off the wagon and gained it all back and more. But I am back and trying and that is all any of us can do, right?!13 -
I just went into Maintenance, so my first mini-goal is to maintain successfully for one month. Fitnesswise, I want to be able to run the 2mi Army test on my treadmill without having to walk parts of it. This week I managed 1.5mi.14
