What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

My current mini goal:
* Increasing my steps average to 5k/day. My usual mode is so sedentary that I won’t get 500 if I’m not intentional about it.
My next celebrations:
* 219.9 on the scale. Saw 220.3 this morning.
* The next size down in jeans. A belt is needed with the old ones so it should be soon.11 -
6 lbs from now, I'll have lost 10% of my original weight. That will be awesome

Getting to 10% of my starting weight lost!12

my min-goal is getting back into the habit of logging (I have been mia from MFP since ~ mid March 2021, so ~ 7.5 months out of practice)
No judgements on "good / not so good choices". Just get it in there. ALLLL of it.
After a week or so, start whatever fine-tuning (that didn't re-assert itself unconsciously) will be needed to get me back to a good intake-activity mix for a steady(ish) averaged 1/2 pound per week. I am 63, and know from experience that "overall, maintainable lifestyle change" is the attitude I need to foster and reinforce.
THEN I can pick a measurable goal.
This first week went surprisingly well - both for the act of logging AND what was chosen and actually consumed. So my next mini-goal is ....REPEAT!
I realize that this is basically a "second honeymoon" thing - but as the general level of (recorded) calories in arrives at that balance point with active calories habitually burned - more detailed tweeks on both sides of the equation will keep being applied.11 -
I started doing EPIC (10 week workout series by Caroline Girvan on yt) yesterday. I'd love to be able to do full pushups by the end of it. I can already see the muscles in my back being more defined. Also I'd love to get strength in my abs back.
I was on a wheelchair for months a few years ago and my abs still haven't fully recovered.
Besides those fitness goals, my nest goal is to weight 110 kg. I'm not putting any time limit on it, I'm in it for the long run. If I keep doing what I do I'm sure I'll get there.
Goodness, I totally forgot I have a gala in 7 days 🤦🏼♀️
I'd like my dress to fit me perfectly in stead of being tight. I bought a new one but it was already to big on me a week ago so definitely won't be wearing that. Anyway my mini goal is to fit into a semi old dress perfectly. Last time I wore it I could barely sit down it was too tight but I tried it on a weekish ago and it fit me way better than before. Since I've been working out and losing weight I'm sure I'll fit it better now.
I totally rocked the dress! It fit me so well even with the travel bloat. 🎉🎉
Next up is being able to wear my smaller jeans (they zip up but not comfortably), 110kg and continuing to workout!23 -
I have some nice work pants that have gotten too tight. I want to get to the point where they fit me perfectly (and then later on, I want them to be too big!).12

I have a skirt I try on every week, it's my main measuring tool. It got to my waist yesterday and I zipped up. I was greatly encouraged.26

Made it to onderland this morning!!! My next mini goal is to be confidently in onderland by Christmas. So I’m thinking around 194 or so since my overall fluctuation rate tends to be around 4 pounds. By March I would love to be at 175lbs.23

So happy for you, that is currently my mini goal and it really is a huge one. I know it's just a number but it can be such a mental boost.

I am 5lbs away from a 30lbs loss. Having maintained for the past 2 years, I'm ready to tackle those last 5!16

Getting back to my March 2020 (pre-lockdown) weight. Just 7 pounds away! (Have lost 14.6 so far.)14

Biggest, current motivation consists of two things.
1. feeling more confident naked
2. proving to myself and my doctor I can gain control of my health14 -
I want to be the same size in January, I have been known to gain 7-10 lbs this time of year.12

1. To maintain some control and not overeat too much at holiday dinners. I know I will go over calories, but I am planning to leave some room in my calorie budget several days in advance; and I am aiming to not be a glutton.
2. To lose 10 more pounds by December 31st.9 -
1. Getting to a normal BMI. I am about 2 pounds away. So close.....
2. Maintaining my weight over the holidays. If I continue to lose, that would be great, but I'm changing my mindset for the season so that I don't put pressure on myself to lose (and risk the negative emotional spiral that can happen if I don't lose - just enjoy the holidays!). My primary mission is to just maintain whatever weight I reach at Thanksgiving (US) and stay there through New Year's.11 -
Get back on track with working out. Moving and traveling put my strength training and running on hiatus for about a month and a half. I've added a whole minute to my mile. Ugh.10
