    We have electricity!! So I can turn on the lights. And turn them off. Then turn them back on. And the house is warm. Yay. Plus my internet is working again. I made my coffee! A little late but I can live with that.

    Yes, we lost electricity about 3 this a.m. Came back on at 5. :)
    It's the little big things that we take for granted in life.

    My neighbor asked if he could put some Christmas lights on my house for me. It was so sweet of him and they look great!

    It was nice to have a phone conversation with my ex, he was laughing and in a good mood.
    I can’t remember the last time I was able to make him laugh like that. ☺️

    I was able to reshop and remail a Christmas gift box to my dd all by noon today. Expected delivery Tuesday. We shall see. The other one seems to be stuck in a purgatory mail warehouse one city away from where my dd lives. But I found my receipt so if it comes down to having to file an insurance claim for the lost package, at least I have the receipt now. My dd said 'you didn't have to send another package! That's too expensive!' Well, yes. Yes I did. It's Christmas and she won't be here. She may not get more homemade cookies from momma but she's getting pieces of home for Christmas anyways. :)

    This is your skating friend from 2018-2019 MFP.
    I lost close to 40lbs…. On WW.
    I don’t know if you remember me or not.. I’ve been skating since I was 10. You sent me the “Vogue” video and I shared it with my mom.
    We loved it very much. It inspired me and helped me make a change. Skating has always been my greatest motivator to be fit. I’m the one who’s been nursing my mom. So, Jan 2020 I was skating and fractured my right distal radial wrist bone. I have a titanium plate and pin in there now.
    I hope your doing good. But isn’t this girl great? This was over 2 years ago. I was hoping to see more A. Petrosian for this coming Winter Olympics.

    Thanks so much for sharing!! Fluid beauty, heartwarming, gorgeous, the whole video. But I wish I knew what was being said. That song always gets me anyways but the whole act was amazing.

    Omg your wrist I hope it's ok! One of the Russian girls broke her wrist and could skate nationals sadly she was always my favourite. But you're in good company.

    This little girl is amazing but I always feel badly seeing them pushed so much at such a young age because you know the damage it's doing.

    So who are your pics?
    Men I'm going with the American Chen...he's amazing! Yuzuru has been training via zoom with his coach but you never know with him
    Women of course a Russian sweep.
    Dance...the French team of course they're wonderful. Hoping the Canadians Piper and Paul sneak into the podium...I was excited chock and Bates won US Nationals. They have great programs this year
    Pairs I have no idea hahaha. I think they're predicting Russians to win.
