💟Happy February, ladies!💟
💖How did the first month of the year treat you? How have you been treating yourself? What resolutions have you stuck to and which have you set aside?
💖What good things have happened to you so far this 2022? And is there anything that you're worried about in February?
💗If you've never been here before, please know you are welcome to join at any point in the month. All you have to do is post something, and then BAM! you're one of us.
💗 In this group, we post our weekly and monthly goals and provide support and motivation to each other as we share our triumphs and our struggles. This group is all about accountability.
💗All are welcome and, if you think you belong here, you do! No matter how much you currently weigh or how you measure (or don't measure) your weight, we'd love to hear from you!
💗Victories, both scale and non-scale, are great to hear about, but, conversely, we know that weight loss isn't all sunshine and roses. If you're going through a rough patch, please feel free to be honest and vent your heart out. The struggle is real and we're all here to support each other!
💟Let's be fierce, fabulous, and fearless this February!💟

I'm relying to decide what to do with my calories for the month of February. I'm at a point where I need to decrease them to keep losing. I was aiming for 2,200 in January but it ended up being an average of 2,500 per day because of some really high days. I'm a nighttime/emotional eater and even though I do great all day, I tend to go over in the evening. I'm going to aim for an average of 2,000.11

I was focused on eating better and getting more sleep. That has been achieved and I've lost 7 lbs! Whoot. This month, I'm adding in exercise (treadmill and dance). I would like to workout at least 3days a week this month and find some sports masks so that I can go back to the gym hopefully in March.

Happy February! Thanks @RavenStCloud for another thread and another place for us to hang out.
My goal for February is to just try my best. I'm going through some medical stuff (follow-up visit next Wednesday) and I'm pretty sure it's not great news, based on my lab workup and my frantic googling of those results.
On the plus side, my gym is doing an 8-week Transformation Challenge focused on muscle gains and body fat loss, so that's helping me stay sane. I love those workouts!

My goal for February is to progress in my push-up routine. See if I can get closer to doing them on the floor. That, and sign up for the gym now that most resolutioners have dropped off.

1.7 pounds from one-derland! 4.7 pounds from 50 pounds lost. It's a short month, so I'm aiming for a modest 5 pounds, but I'll be thrilled if I can get 7 pounds. I definitely want to be as close to 190 by the end of March as possible, when my sister comes to visit.
Funny story: yesterday, one of my coworkers, whom I don't necessarily get along with that well (we're polite, but I'm work friends with someone this coworker greatly dislikes) came up and whispered to me, " Did you lose weight?'
"Yeah. 45 pounds."
Just thought it's interesting how some people in the office (I don't work from home) noticed after 10 pounds while others are just now noticing. Especially since I haven't been keeping my weight loss a secret.8 -
SW: 260lbs (Dec 1st)
CW: 244lbs (Feb 1st)
GW1: 215lbs
GW2: 185lbs
My February goals:
💌 Hit the gym 3x a week or more
💌 Do a youtube dance workout 2-3x a week (maybe The Fitness Marshall?)
💌 Try different daily stretches
💌 Stick to my calorie goals/log all food
💌 Take daily vitamins
I did really well with my food goals last month, but slacked off a bit in terms of exercise. My new resolution is to find a remote job asap, because I had to leave my old in-person one last week. Hopefully, I can utilize my new free time to hit to the gym a bit more in the next couple of weeks.
When I started swimming again in December, I could do 10 laps in 35 minutes; it was mostly lots of stopping between and catching my breathe. Now I can swim 10 laps in 21 minutes and swim three laps without stopping. My goal is to keep working on building up speed and stamina.
Here's to an awesome February! 💜💜💜11 -

I wasn't consistent with hitting all my goals for January, so I am going to keep them as my goals for this month as well.
Goals for February:
- Meet protein goal at least 3x weekly
- Meet fiber goal at least 3x weekly
- Eat out no more than 1x per week
- Get minimum of 6000 steps daily
- Drink minimum of 8 glasses water daily
Goals for 2022:
- Incorporate weight training and work on improving my muscle definition:
- Reach my goal weight and move into maintenance:
- Plan for and make self care a priority at least quarterly (massage, mani/pedi, etc) :6 -
Ugh, this always happens --great weight loss at first, then it slows to a trickle after about six weeks.
I did lose a few pounds last month, but I hoped to see Onederland --so that's now my goal for February.
Moving forward !

I've just had enough nasal congestion change to have my first covid test this week. Negative. Was getting a new neti pot and the store had them anyway so thought I should pick up the tests regardless just in case. It's progressed further so I can't smell/taste today. With that I definitely had to do the google search of what color is covid mucus. Mine is still clear so so far I'm okay. I'll take the second test in a few days to be sure. Mom had what she thought was just nasal congestion so thought I'd be the same from the weather etc. Still feels different from when I've had a cold as well - I'm fine and not the slightest rundown etc.
Food will be interesting as it won't be for pleasure for sure, unless it's the idea of it. But I guess bring on the foods/drinks I don't like - ha Earl Gray we'll be friends this week.
My older cat had her 30 day check after her treatment yesterday. We'll see how her numbers are. She has gained weight a bit so that is hopeful to me.
February overall looking forward to a trip to Disney with my gym friend. She wanted to get away from winter so we'll be going this month. we have to tackle her food different from last year but have a slight plan going in to not repeat that trip's mishaps.
Keeping Feb weight goal very slight since I've bounced up after getting close but not past 2176 -

January got a little derailed in the middle when my best friend and her partner visited for about 10 days. I have resolved not to let it derail me any further - they left two weeks ago, it's time to get back in the swing of things. Last time they visited was literally right before the pandemic, like, they left February 27th 2020 and then two weeks later the whole world imploded, so I had a few other excuses for getting derailed in terms of self care and chores and such besides their visit.
I realized this morning that I've been below 200 lbs for over a MONTH, which is wild to me - I don't remember how long I managed to stay in Onederland last time, but it couldn't have been more than about six months. Well, it will be this time, if I have anything to say about it!
We're back on Couch to 5k and it's going well - I attempted Week 4 Day 1 last Monday and my hip complained a little, so I took a break the rest of the week and just walked on Wednesday and Friday mornings instead of running. I re-tried W4D1 yesterday and completed it successfully without hip pain, so I feel pretty confident that I can keep going. I'm also really enjoying my randomly-generated strength workouts, I like the system I built a lot and I think I'll keep using it or something similar for the foreseeable future - the variety is keeping me interested just like I was hoping it would.9 -

- Drink 6 glasses of water a day.
- Read 1 book a month
- Clean out my Closet my March 1st. On a planned break.
- Reach my goal weight by August 1st Maybe or Maybe Not
- Walk 3000 steps per day.
- Try 1 new recipe a month.
- Update F2F Daily
- Keep up with F2F 40 things to do in 2022! I'm either working on this or thinking about it.
- Throw out 1 thing a day!
My weight stayed the same, I'm very happy about that and I did lose 2.5" which is a win, pounds or inches I don't care which. My new freezer arrived yesterday, it's the perfect size so this morning I went shopping for frozen goods. I did really well, but they only had 2 bags of shrimp. Right now, I don't need to go back to the market for a week when I will need to get more lettuce. I never thought we needed a freezer but with covid this makes life so much easier.7 -

Hey everyone!
I'm getting so close to onederland! I woke up this morning to 200.0 and wanted to scream! Like come on body, ya Couldn't give me that .2? It's all good though, I will get there tomorrow.
My goal for the month is to get to 197, with hopes of beating that and getting to 195. I'll take either!
Tomorrow I'll have logged for 300 days in a row, which for me is totally mind blowing. That doesn't mean that I've logged food every day, but
Ive had enough wherewithal to at least open then app (I made it thru a vacation and everything! That's when I normally forget and lose my streak).
Goals for this month:
🔹️Walk at least 7k steps a day
🔸️Walk for 30 min a day, but no less than 3x a week
🔹️Log food during the weekend. My weekdays are perfect and planned out, but my weekend logging is pretty much nonexistent, so I'm gonna try to fix that.12 -

My February goal is to see less than 230 but I'm going on a two week road trip with my sister and our husbands in 10 days so we'll see how that goes. I'll have to be very mindful of those snacks and ice cream stops at Braum's. I won't be weighing at all then so it will be a surprise at the end of the month.
Wish I could comment on all the amazing successes out there, but instead will just say thanks for sharing. You are an inspiration when I see what you are all doing, not giving up even through the occasional "ups". People notice, and you make a difference even though you're not aware of it.

Hey folks, I'm back on after near a year's break. I had been doing great this time last year with my weight and exercise but then I was bullied out of a role I loved and it's been a tough year (narc boss, who was also supposed to be my friend, a lot to work through).
My main goal this month is to get my emotional eating under control, it's about as bad as it's been ever, so looking for ways to self-regulate that aren't food. I'm also dealing with piriformis syndrome atm (my piriformis muscle is pressing on the sciatic nerve) which is disappointing because I would normally walk every other day and have recently dusted off my kayak and met a great group of women locally. I'm hoping that will have settled by the end of this week so I can get back moving again, I'm missing the forest in particular.
Thanks for setting this up, and friend requests are welcome!

I eat keto (mostly), it worked for me in the past but my crap eating habits have undone that, and I have histamine intolerance which means I need to be careful about what I'm eating (mostly, but every so often I'll risk the stuffy nose and slight insomnia for a glass of red wine and mature cheese!). I really want to heal my relationship with food so I can get back to "everything in moderation and a little of what you fancy".7 -
Hi all, I've recently gotten back to MFP and would love to be a bit more part of the community this time around 🤗
I'm Jonna, I live in the Faroe Islands (yes, that tiny spot in the middle of nowhere which you probably can't see on the map unless you zoom in 😅) and I just started a new office job. I also just started keto, I'm on day 4 and going strong, if I do say so myself 😌
I'm 31 years old, weigh 225lbs'ish and 5.7ft, I've never really minded being on the bigger side, finding clothes is harder than it has to be sure, but that's not a big deal... But summer is coming and I want to be more active and I'm beginning to feel like my weight is hindering that 😬

I'm relying to decide what to do with my calories for the month of February. I'm at a point where I need to decrease them to keep losing. It always makes me sad when I have to “reduce” my caloric intake as the scale reduces too. I usually just start exercising more so I can eat more!
Maybe try getting up earlier and going to bed earlier? I currently wake up between 4-5am and go to bed between 8:30-9:30pm and this greatly helps me with the night time binging. I use to watch tv, eat and drink alcohol at night. Now, after work and evening duties, I do yoga at the gym for an hour then after I get Home and shower, I’m relaxed and ready for bed.

This month I had intended to focus on self-care. Schedule a massage and facial, find ways to relax and reflect on my success so far. Alas, life had other plans for me this month. On Monday we signed a contract to buy a new house (we have been low-key looking since last year) and now are in a rush to get our house listed and under contract. Then the crazy of inspections, paperwork, packing, moving, unpacking and all the details that it takes to get set up in a new house. So I am changing my February focus to be on stress management while staying on plan. I know I can do this, over the last year+ I have really built sustainable eating habits that make it easy for me to stay on plan.8 -
Hi ladies and a big thank you to @RavenStCloud for keeping this group going! I've been reading everyone's posts- you are all so amazing. I haven't posted in awhile but am tracking my food. Last year I in April I turned 70. Boy, it's harder to lose weight as you get older. Then in June, my husband passed away unexpectedly. Since then, I've had to deal with all the finances, accounts, etc. To say it's been rough is an understatement. I'm lucky to have a brother near by, a best friend and great neighbors. But at night it gets so quiet, except for my 2 kitties, one of which is quite old, so am trying to prepare myself for when she goes. I'm an emotional eater, so losing my husband has been a challenge regarding food. I've stayed within the 259 and 260 range. But I have to get some pounds off. My right knee is bad; have had 2 injections. But the weight is starting to hurt my left knee. So, I hope to stay strong and try to take care of myself, especially with eating well. Thanks for listening and thank you all for sharing your struggles. You are all amazing! 😊❤10
