Goal weight reached this week, plus a little more 💪🏼
New focus for the rest of the month will be eating high protein, lots of veggies, having the occasional treat, drinking lots of water and hitting 10000 steps.
After restricting my calories for 4 months now I am struggling to find my new maintenance. I really don’t want to loose weight too quickly as this in the past has never been maintained and has all come back on and more in no time at all.

@mrs_chivonne hey thank you! I have been trying harder than I ever have with a diet/ life style change so it is starting to pay off.
I’ve cut out fizzy drinks (well almost I might only have or two a week now where as before it was more than once a day)
I’ve gone from sitting ok my *kitten* all day to trying to reach a minimum of 10000 steps
I aim to drink between 2.5-3.5 litres of plain cold water per day
I’m counting ever morsel of calories that enter my body and keeping it under 1900 but on average it is more like 1600
I give myself one cheat day a week but still keep calories under 2500 so it doesn’t get excessive as before this I wii it ups binge more than once a week
I’m also breastfeeding at the mom ent which is worth mentioning as this supposedly burns calories
I think my most successful changes are the water intake and walking as before these were both so low.
Keep your head up and you’ll get there, I’ve been yo-yo dieting since I was a teen and this is probably the longest I’ve ever stuck to something. It’s been 7 weeks so far so fingers crossed I can keep it up and reach a healthy and happy weight.4 -

@mrs_chivonne its just around the corner for you I am sure of it.
Just keep up the hard work you are putting in.
Our bodies go through so many crazy changes, plateaus and metabolic alterations during diet changes so it’s no wonder that we all experience low and high points. ♥️♥️3 -

My name is Donna. I am 61 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.

Mar 01…..…..196.6…..(Trend Weight: 196.5)….. Good luck everyone this round! Let’s make March look GREAT on our charts!
Mar 08…..…..198.2…..(Trend Weight: 196.7)….. Should I blame this on what the store put on sale this week or should I blame my lack of accountability? I think we all know the answer to that question.
Mar 15…..…..199.0…..(Trend Weight: 197.7)….. Not happy with that trend weight especially.
Mar 22…..…..199.8…..(Trend Weight: 198.4)….. From bad to worse. There was that travel yesterday and the Golden Corral buffet that jilted my numbers this morning. However, I’ve mainly been going back & forth in a 2 pound space and basically treading water. I need a huge change in my attitude and my habits. I’m in a slump.

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Mar 31:
Most of this week I’ve been below 60.2kg, so I don’t see this as an actual gain. It’s been a slightly less controlled week than last week. Last spring I lost a chunk of weight and regained it over the summer, so this time round I want to get to 55kg again properly, decide whether that is still my ideal weight and then adjust accordingly, rather than relaxing before I reach my goal because I’m unsure as to whether I want to reach it.
I don’t ‘need’ to lose the weight I have left, I don’t really know if I ‘want’ to, but I want to stop thinking about it by getting there and seeing how I feel.7 -

Mar 31:
Total loss for March Finally having some consistent results again; I am down a half pound for the week and 2.4 pounds for the month.
Now the trick is to keep sticking to it. I will hit a mini goal in less than half a pound. I might even get back to the goal weight I attained and maintained for two years before September 2020.
