Welcome to all the newcomers! I like these challenges because they are short and sweet and you get to have a nice short-term goal to shoot for. I've generally lost anywhere from 0.5 to 2 pounds in one of these challenges, but have also gained 0.5 to 1 pound during just a couple of challenges (like the last one) when it has been the holidays or traveling. As far as daily weighing - I have done it since I was a teenager, if I had a scale -even when WW said not to do so. It has allowed me to see how various foods affect my weight. Now I avoid carbs and try to limit myself even on “healthy” carbs because even too many cruciferous vegetables will cause me to gain.

4/7 / 171.6 / Well after being unable to weigh on a reliable scale for the duration of my trip, and a ton of constant temptation, I'm happy my weight is where it is. That was the first vacation of that type that I've had since I started, and there were lots of lessons learned. Overall, I'm happy with the choices I made under the circumstances. I balanced fun with reasonable choices, grabbed activity where I could, and made lots of memories. Happy to be back to being able to check in daily!
