I Need To Do Something

Hi Everyone,
I’m not new to mfp but I am new to the community. So often (everyday) I say this is the day that I’m going to start my weight loss journey. And of course it never is. I need to stick to something realistic and I believe that just doing my daily log and staying within my target calorie intake is a good start. I do a great for a day or 2 usually and then don’t see movement on the scale and say forget it. I figured I would try using the community as a support and motivation this time around!

Best of luck. I think what you most need to do is adjust your expectations -- even if you only have a few pounds to lose, this is going to take weeks, not days. And if you have 10+ pounds to lose, we're talking months. If you're going to throw in the towel after a day or two, you're not going to get anywhere.0
