I do a sun salutation every morning, and I have to say I really like the whole sequence. Downward facing dog, cobra, and the cat/upward dog are among my favorites, though

The Cobra, a great stretch for the back.

I like going from Cat to Cow. It really helps loosen my back and get all the kinks out, as do Sun Salutations. I also like One-Legged Pigeon a lot, as I'm pretty flexible in my hips and can get deep into it.
