Hey y'all,
I'm looking for some ideas on the above - high protein, low effort - pre gym snacks that isn't gonna break the bank. I've looked into a lot of protein bars and snacks and they're just ridiculously expensive for one package. Any homemade recipes would be greatly appreciated! Ideally those without adding protein powders but I understand that's a tall ask, but can throw in recipes that don't ask for half a bag of powder, lol.
TIA~

I buy dark chocolate covered Brazil nuts online. Really healthy and a great snack before or after a workout. Boiled eggs are good as well. You can boil them the night before, put them in the fridge and then peel and snack on them whenever you want. Cheap and full of protein.2

crepini, with slice of American cheese, and 1 0z of chicken, I add a squirt of honey mustard, wrap it and air fry it.1

Babybel light (similar macros/calories to an egg)2

I really like these energy balls for pre or post workout: https://yummytums.com/2015/06/15/energy-balls/. You can customize them to what you like. They're much better than protein bars, in my opinion. One recipe makes about a dozen and you can keep them in your fridge.0

I love apple slices and peanut butter. fills me up enough not to snack and doesn't break the bank buying a big bag of apples and a big jar of butter.0

I make mini wraps with boars head low salt chicken or turkey piece of cheese and some honey mustard or Hughes sugar free bbq sauce0

I do a chocolate rice cake and peanut butter. Simple and not crazy high priced!0
