    10/4 / 172 / Started the day with an early work issue. On my way to the office now. Will walk at lunch and then my dog will need to go out after work so that will likely be my exercise for the day.
    10/5 / 172.8 / Ate lots of salad yesterday, got over 14K steps, and rode the Peloton.

    @_JeffreyD_ My dad is the same way and it seems to be getting worse as he gets older. I seriously think he may have developed Oppositional Defiance Disorder since he hit 75. So frustrating! I’m glad to hear it was not a stroke!

    @deepwoodslady SEE? You CAN pass up those high carb, junky snacks and the grands REALLY don’t need them! My DH eats cereal mindlessly if he is reading a book. I was appalled the other night to see that they are now making JUMBO sized snacking cereals! I guess they’re hoping to keep the sugar addicts from being healthy.

    You KNOW what you should and shouldn’t eat but it’s so hard to resist in the face of temptation! You’ve got this!

    @AR10at50 Karen, your post reminded me of a Bible study group at the church we attended in Colorado. “3D’s” - diet, discipline and discipleship. I never knew until I totally cut out sugar that you could get a sugar HANGOVER! We celebrated the birthday of our minister’s wife with a bakery cake. OH THE HEADACHE!!!
