~slept 8 hours in a row last night! First time in ages!!! ✅
Does anyone here use the Garmin App? I've joined a couple of challenges on there for Rock'tober which I'm so excited about... Steps, Running (sl'ogging on my part), and something else.
Also started using the Evidation app. It's a tracking system that gives you points for healthy choices that eventually add up to micro amounts of cash or a donation to a charity, which is pretty awesome.

Me again, I weigh every day due to heart failure and fluid issues. I am finally making a daily weight check part of my morning routine (It had been doctors advice for a couple of years now but I just could not get in the routine of it)
For reference, I am 55f, 5'11" tall, and August 1st got back to a low carb menu in my house after losing a bunch and gaining it back 2 years ago.
OCTOBER GOALS (DAILY):

👟 Walk 5,500+ steps (Starting September 15th- nice to add something to the daily goal)
1-205.5 Welcome October! Bought dance tickets for the 27th of October, so I will be looking for a costume for the first time in a couple of years, and I would like to meet my Oct goal by then.

I have spent a good portion of this year in my maintenance range (160-165). However, after a big trip in September, I'm above it. Time to get back to under 165!

October 1 - 172.2 (I ended September in a big fury of work related stress. Happy October 1! Looking forward to setting a positive tone for this month.)
October 2 - 171.4 (Yesterday we biked over 40K in the mountains and today we are going to hike around 5K. The fall weather in Alberta is gorgeous right now.)
October 3 - 171.4 (Worked from home, walked my dog at lunch, rode the Peloton after work, and then ate salad for supper. Good day.)
October 4 - 172 (Started with an early morning call for work that got the adrenaline going. I'll walk at lunch and see how I feel after work to do more.)
October 5 - 172.8 (Had a good day yesterday. Lots of steps and a Peloton ride.)3 -

5 158.8 🥳 150’s. Going good here but I have to be careful. I plan my 3 meals and a snack and I leave room in case of a slip, well I haven’t been slipping so my calories at the end of the day are low, possibly too low. I feel good and have tons of energy for work and my workouts so we shall see.5 -

I am still grabbing fast “convenience foods” because of the lack of kitchen and the workers here, but I am trying to keep good grab choices available. I’ve just got to keep trying to lower the carbs. My glucose has not been good, even when I’ve had a “good day” on the scale or with my calories.

I don't weigh everyday because it causes me anxiety so I weigh in on Saturday.
October 1st: 229.2lbs
October 8th: 2295 -
My name is Donna. I am 5’ 5” tall, 62 years old and from the Midwest USA. In 2016 I weighed 253 lbs. I am on a journey of health and to get back to the real me.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

I am still grabbing fast “convenience foods” because of the lack of kitchen and the workers here, but I am trying to keep good grab choices available. I’ve just got to keep trying to lower the carbs. My glucose has not been good, even when I’ve had a “good day” on the scale or with my calories.
10/08-198.4-(Trend Weight 199.3)- I’m happy to see it going back down but very worried about the upcoming week. I have 3 days of travel, Sunday, Wed and Thur and that never helps my cause. I need to watch those calories but I’ve got to keep a mindful eye on those carbs too. I also need to fit in a little movement, even on the travel days because that really hurts my bottom line when it’s a day full of mostly sitting.

My name is Mary. Hopeful this month. April 1st I was 180lbs and now I have creeped up to 188lbs. My thoughts are I haven't been diligent in my calorie intake. So this month my focus is keeping my calories in a zone to lose 1lb a week.

Me again, I weigh every day due to heart failure and fluid issues. I am finally making a daily weight check part of my morning routine (It had been doctors advice for a couple of years now but I just could not get in the routine of it)
For reference, I am 55f, 5'11" tall, and August 1st got back to a low carb menu in my house after losing a bunch and gaining it back 2 years ago.
OCTOBER GOALS (DAILY):

1-205.5 Welcome October! Bought dance tickets for the 27th of October, so I will be looking for a costume for the first time in a couple of years, and I would like to meet my Oct goal by then.

6-204.2 I slipped a little yesterday, skipping that tiny treadmill 1km and being sloppy with my eating, and didn't log my food. It is probably good that there is a bit of a gain to snap me back in line, even if it is maybe just a natural fluctuation lol

My October goals are the same as my September goals because those didn’t get met at all. September went sideways on me. I would like to get more movement in, especially on work days and more self care, 3 out of 7 days per week.

Salty takeout for dinner. It will come off. Self care yesterday, nails and shopping. Went to my usual plus sized store and am happy to report the last time I was there I was choosing between a 3x/4x (22-24) and yesterday I walked out of there with size 0 (Size 16) and likely will not need to shop there again (hopefully) ever. Definite NSV!4 -
@Bemybestby60 I am feeling your pain! Do you log your food? Not asking to be the MFP police but asking to see if you can go back to when this happened in September and see if there is a trend or a food that might cause this. I think you are one of the strongest members on this thread, you keep showing up consistently! Hang in there!0
