I love the fall colors… small pond near my house…
There are also a bunch of turtles sitting on the log in the middle of the water sunning themselves and enjoying the view.

For the most part I'm enjoying it here and I'm glad I came. It still blows my mind how big and diverse this country actually is!! I'm not gonna lie though, it is taking some adjusting to! Public transport is virtually non-existent where I'm staying right now and I won't be getting my own car for another 2-3 weeks. I'm sorta in a sketchy area so its a bit hard for to get out an explore and do stuff, but I'm working/clinicals most of the time anyway.
Also, road rules are just a suggestion it seems. I *kitten* you not, I went to 4 MVAs in a 12 hour shift. I've gotten used to driving on the right now and I'm not hitting the windshield wiper instead of the turn signal anymore lmao. I still drive way too far to the right though haha...scares the crap out of people.
There's also a lot of different processes that I'm having to adapt to. The healthcare system, different units, protocols, medications etc. Working 911 is pretty brutal here, without going into much detail...there is a lot more trauma... but I have the option of doing Inter-facility Transfers or a mix If I wanna. So my perspective might be a skewed because of that type of exposure.
Most people are really welcoming and helpful though...and there's a lot of interesting characters I've met.6 -

Yeah - you’re in Houston right?? If so yeah they’re driving sucks - I always drive around it if possible when headed down south - I saw a video the other day of a road rage incident where 2 trucks were essentially real life bumper cars just reversing and running back into the other smh 🤦♂️
- glad it’s been mostly good for you dude

Thanks oddly I don't really feel that bad. I have a cough but having a 10 hour sleep was awesome.1 -
