I miss you so very much. I think about you all the time and how much I wish you could let me know you are still with me, even though I do know it in my heart.

I officially outlived you in July. I wish I could tell you about all the struggles I'm still dealing with, including PTSD and memory problems. You would never believe that because you always joked about my amazing memory. I hope you are somewhere wonderful and can't see me crying and missing you so much every day. I hope you are happy with your mom, dad, Punkin and Chloe.

My house isn't a home because you have never been here. I wear your shirts to sleep in and still have the bottle of cologne we bought together because you wanted to make sure I liked it, too.

I don't know why this had to happen to us and I may never know, but I know you would want me to be as happy as possible without you here. I miss you and love you more than words can express.

I didn't get the honor of spending the rest of my life with you, but you spent the rest of your life with me and I have no doubt you died knowing you were loved completely.
