1/2 210. This is a pleasant surprise. I did eat less sugar and I did drink more water. Now to do it again. I always start off well and within a few days I give in to emotional and stress eating. Need to keep myself busy.

After 5.5 years, I’m a lazy tracker. I know that avoiding carbs is best for me. Breads, etc. even whole grain make my joints hurt so I try to skip those things. When I do track, I use Senza. I do periodically decide I need to be more diligent about it.🤷♀️

1/2 - DNW - Happy New Year, everyone!! Not sure how much damage I’m doing in Puerto Rico but hopefully it won’t take too long to recover. I set a goal for the month to do a short postnatal core workout every day. My youngest child is almost two but my pelvic floor is barely holding it together. I haven’t done much working out on our trip but squeezing in the 10 minute core workouts isn’t too difficult. They’re barely a workout anyway—more like physical therapy exercises. Our trip is going great and my kids love it here! We’ve gone to the beach every single day. The food and drinks have been delightful! Hoping to go to a nicer grocery store later today. Fruits and vegetables have been disappointingly sparse. Seems odd since the climate is so warm here.

...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

Yesterday was great! Kept within calorie limits, worked out, and even managed to complete my second day of dry January and my second day of quitting smoking. But it is early days yet, and these first few days are easy when motivation is high and I am still living off of the enthusiasm for all the changes.

1/3 185.2 I took advantage of the warm (almost 50) and took down the outside Xmas lights. Well most of them- DH just loves the lights when he comes home from work so I left two strands up on the front porch to keep him cheery. Also got some garden puttering in to keep me cheery! Great workouts and good calories- now to keep this up for a few thousand days…9
