Hi
I am looking for an exercise partner. I think if I had a partner we could motivate each other. Would like to FaceTime or talk during the workout? Or just short messages even. Someone to help with accountability.
I am 50 and need to loss 15 lbs.

Another option would be to participate in one of the exercise reporting threads. Here are some examples:
https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/331789/tlfc-exercise-and-accountability-support#latest
https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10705619/what-was-your-work-out-today#latest

Since you're new here: The threads that have been running for a while will look old when you open them. The new posts are at the end, on the high numbered pages. You can skip straight there with the page arrow/number links near the bottom of the page. All 3 of the above are still active.
Another option would be one of the challenge groups for types of exercise that appeal to you. You can find those in this area:

Best wishes!
P.S. Exercise is optional for weight loss. I lost 50+ pounds at age 59-60 without changing my exercise routine as compared with when I was obese and staying that way. Weight loss can be accomplished purely by changing eating habits. Exercise is good for a person, healthwise, though. Choose something you find relatively fun, and you'll need less motivation.2 -
