Are you saying that two people, both speaking English, can be speaking completely different languages?

@frankwbrown can you order some through skip the dishes or something like that?
Wasn't I wondering if "skip the dishes" was regional slang for going out to eat? 😂
But didn't I learn "something like that" would be GrubHub or DoorDash?

    Does GrubHub deliver larvae? 🤢

Isn’t it odd since proximity wise I’m only 119km (74 miles) from Seattle, WA? How can my English be so foreign?

Are you too tired to sleep? Wouldn't that be a Catch-22?

How do you feel about additional punctuation?
    ?

And doesn't sleep depend on what ones mind is up to? Are you asking for friendly diagnoses? Would you like to give us any ideas about motivations?

Wasn't there something about commas saving lives? But maybe question marks don't count?

Didn't that remind me of a book I read (and enjoyed)?

Are you very tired, @cmsienk? Or is your question at home with your charger? 🤭

Aren't I tired indeed? And may I thank you for the gentle reminder? 😁
Won't you all enjoy the rest of the evening while I go to sleep?

have you heard of the Australian version - Wombat - eats, roots, and leaves?

but does that only make sense if you understand what roots means in Australian slang?

if I tell you it rhymes with ducks, does that give you a clue?

wont I get in trouble with mods if I explain it any more explicitly?

@paperpudding have you figured out yet that he’s pulling your leg? 😉 Did you know Roots is a brand in Canada?

@mtn_hikin did you end up getting any sleep at all?

Although I knew what was meant by lower-case "roots", doesn't my brain upon seeing the upper-case "Roots" immediately think about the series about slavery?
