I'm pretty quiet, but I want to scream my progress right now. 🤯 I use MFP to calculate my calorie goals, track every bite, and exercise 6 days a week. There's no magic diet, pill, or crazy formula involved in these progress pictures. Just dedication to the process. Promise!
I hope this motivates somebody. Keep moving forward. Trust the process.
I'm cheering you all on!!!
Feel free to friend me on MFP if you're curious about my diary. ✌️❤️

Thank you! When I put my weight in (300) the app back in August, I set my activity to Sedentary. The app suggested a 1,500 calorie goal. I stayed at that number even thought I started walking/elliptical 6 days a week. However, when I started personal training in January, I was SO hungry. I was strength training 3 days a week in addition to my cardio. My trainer suggested eating more. I increased the activity level on MFP settings and it bumped my calories to 1,750. I've spent the last few weeks averaging 1,900 and I'm still losing weight. 🙂 I've opened my food diary to everyone on my friends list. Hope that helps! ❤️14 -
Amazing, definitely inspiring! I am going to add you now!1

Yes!! Good for you! I have a similar goal and hope to lose 70lbs by Sept.1

You brought happy tears to my eyes!!! Thank you so much!!! 🥹 I go to the gym before work to make sure my workout happens. Plus, there's a lot less people there at 5:15 a.m. 🙂
Beginning Routine:
Walking on the treadmill or the elliptical for about 45 min. Monday-Friday and about an hour on Saturday.
I would constantly try to push myself by raising the elevation or resistance (since I couldn't walk very fast).
Now:
M, W, F- Spin Class (45 min)
T, Th, S- About 30-40 min. of strength (still a beginner using mostly machines). I also will either go back to the gym after work for my 30- 40 min. cardio or just walk/jog around my neighborhood.
Cardio now looks like a mixture of spin classes, walk/jog outdoors or on the treadmill, the elliptical, some stair climbing, and the rowing machine. I like to change it up!3 -
I was extremely happy to see the adjustment you mentioned in a follow up post in terms of moving forward! Good job so far. Looking forward to future posts!1

You are amazing and have done an amazing job getting healthy and happy. I'm 72 and I exercise with weights 2 or 3 times a week. I do a pool aerobics class 2 times a week. I'm not losing weight so obviously I'm not burning enough calories to what I'm putting in. What kind of nutrition did you follow? I know I need to be better recording my food, but are you trying to eat specific types of food and eliminating others? Thank you for your response.0

You are truly rockin' it! Such amazing progress, you should be so proud of yourself. Don't you feel great compared to 6 months ago? It's been 13 months for me and the further I get into this lifestyle change I find that I have to keep reminding myself how bad I felt physically and mentally before compared to how I feel now.
Sending you my sincere wishes for your continued success!1 -

You're going to make me cry! (Happy tears! 😊) I feel amazing. The ways my life has changed are countless, just so many unrealizwd ways my weight/low energy was holding me back. People keep asking what keeps me going... I finally feel like I'm LIVING. Never going back. ❤️🙌

Just keep going. I know that sounds too simple, but it's the truth. It's all about making those small changes in your routines that become automatic. Getting up at 4:30 a.m. for the gym and counting calories are done automatically now. I'm learning that it's a marathon, not a sprint. It really is a lifestyle. And I love making constant goals for myself.
Can I speed up my mile today?
Can I beat that last time on the rowing machine?
Can I increase my protein earlier in the day?
Can I get 500 more steps today?
When the answer is YES... that feeling is unbeatable. That's what keeps me going. 💪✨️0
