Weighing a day early. I've had my 1st proper weightloss since I started in January. I cut down on my snacking but not completely as I seem to be hungry all the time if I do. I've been snacking on more fruit and drinking more water. Hopefully in the next few weeks I can get out walking when it's brighter in the mornings/evenings.

Total loss for February I am holding steady from last week; that's good. I'm down about a pound since January 28, but for the month starting on February 1, I am essentially unchanged. I had been down 0.5 pounds, and am back up 0.2 so down 0.3 pounds for the month. That's de minimis and within error of the scale, so I guess that's truly maintenance. I'll call that a success for the second week in a row.

My older daughter is getting married in 10 weeks. I feel lucky that I lost my weight last year (40 pounds in about 6 months) so my focus now is on maintaining and toning and finding a MOB dress that doesn't make me look frumpy. Best of luck to you!8 -

This is mainly water weight from eating carbs! I follow a low carb diet and spent 2 weeks at my mums and gained 10lb!! Just got to lose the 2lb I put on at Xmas and I'll be back to December 12th weight!! 14lb to target8 -
I wonβt lie, tom & terrible takeaway choice was reason for this gain. I didnβt put it up yesterday cos I didnβt want to acknowledge the gain. But if I pretend & act like Iβm losing or at least maintaining, Iβm lying to you guys and to myself. So part of taking accountability is to admit when things go wrong as well as right. You have to take the rough with the smooth. Iβll get back on track this week & keep being honest, because thatβs the only way Iβm going to improve my physical and mental health journey. Sorry for the long explanation π
