These photos have just made me cry and realise what ive done to my poor body. Congratulations everyone on your incredible journeys! I am a typical yoyo nightmare! I have gone through life the past 15 years losing 5 stone keeping it off for a year then gaining it again. I have numerous before and after photos but when I get to a nice weight I just can't seem to maintain it.
This week I joined back at the gym and have eaten so healthy and it's weigh day Sunday. I'm feeling positive about it but annoyed with myself that I am the biggest I've ever been. I want to lose 5 stone again. I look forward to posting my progress photos in afew months :-)28 -
Starting weight was 360. I've lost about 135 pounds in 16 months. These are all from this year... they're all two months apart, and there's 35 pounds lost there. (250ish to my current 225). I'm most happy about not having a moon face anymore lol. I think I need to get a new reference clothing item. The sweatshirt is finally too big.

This is so awesome @100_Rabbits !!!!. You’ve done so well!
If I may be so bold, your glasses are as big on your non-“moon” face as that sweatshirt is on Shrinking You. NSV!!!! I’ve had that problem a couple times, and am having it again. Mine are crazy expensive (astigmatism). Maybe wait til you reach goal, or even a while longer til you face gets finished rearranging, but have some fun with one of those websites that lets you “try” different frames virtually in the meantime!4 -

AW: who knows 😂 but I’m down around 200lbs (all naturally).

December 27, 2022 vs June 12, 2023
64lbs difference
I still have another 36lbs to go. I hope to reach goal weight in October but I realize the closer to goal weight I am, the slower the weight will drop off. So it'll start getting harder. But hey, it's progress!

Christmas I just had enough - I wasn’t living well and had a very laissez faire mindset about my health. I cut alcohol (maybe a drink a month now) adopted a 1500 low carb calorie intake on a 16:8 intermittent fasting schedule with at least 60 minutes of exercise daily (20-40 in both the morning and evening). Achieved target weight and set new goals for a slower drop easing back in the carb restriction and fasting and focused on exercise and running a half marathon.
Six months down the road now, goals achieved! Better understanding of my relationship with food and activity appreciating more how nutrition and exercise affects my body. Blood pressure is normal, resting heart rate is down, recovery after exertion is faster, sleeping better, wife says I pretty much stopped snoring.
It feels great. Thanks to everyone sharing their stories and photos - they are inspirational. Now it’s my turn

3 years back and well over 100 lbs ago
This morning after hump day 10k run. Destroyed the new Father’s Day meggings and joggers kids got me. 80% humidity insured wet from head to toe. Glad I did it early. 🥵
