I grabbed the rest of the bag of cheetos to munch on and by the time I got back to my desk, I realized i didn't really want them. Several hours later, they are still sitting there. This is kind of big for me. I've since eaten lunch but the cheetos are actually not that desirable. I just keep forgetting to grab them to put away when i get up.

Yesterday, a friend that I last saw a month ago, told me I looked like I’ve lost weight. I was happy but surprised. I’ve lost 20 lbs. but I honestly didn’t think it was enough to notice.16

I'm processing a hard break-up right now. I thankfully was already 1 month into my first anti-depressants and 2 weeks into re-starting my fitness and wellness journey before being dumped 3 weeks ago.
I'm proud to say that instead of binging like I normally do after a split, I immediately channeled my emotions into the gym most days during the week now. I move my body a little bit every day.
Stairs are starting to get a bit easier. I've gone down 1-2 belt holes, down 1 lifting lever belt hole, down 8.7 inches and down a pant dress size since the end of April/beginning of May.24 -
My VO2 Max went up to 42 percent!13

First post in this thread… and I’ve read ALL of them for inspiration over the years.
My NSV is that I’m finally, aged nearly 44, learning how to eat only when hungry and stop when no longer hungry. Previously I’ve relied on willpower and restriction to lose weight. This time feels different. Better.
I’m also learning to embrace hunger as something that makes my next meal taste so good. Not something to be feared.

@ClearNotCloudyMind welcome to the thread! I sometimes go back to the beginning and read all the posts all over again when I need encouragement. Glad you're now posting, too!
@ramonaj2341 that's a lot of kms!

I mowed my yard today. It's on a steep hill with uneven ground, so you really have to horse the mower around to get all the nooks and crannies. It requires a lot more strength than just walking back and forth. I used to have to pay someone to do it because I couldn't even pull-start the gas engine without help, much operate the mower safely. Now I'm good to go as long as I wear shoes with good tread. It's wonderful to be able to do things myself.18

I did a dive over an hour and still came back with a little more than 1000 psi in my breathing gas cylinder.8

OK, while this one isn't a pounds-weighed victory, it is, technically, a scale victory.
Yesterday, my smart scale said my metabolic age was "41." I'm 55!
Two months of intense weights and cardio intervals have done this and having a higher metabolism both feels much better and contributes to 'round-the-clock calorie burn!13 -

Being able to shave your legs is an ENORMOUS victory. I am looking forward to it, but have some pounds to go….

I can’t stop looking at this picture. The sheer joy of it! Makes me laugh. Also gives me hope that I can lose weight to be able to play again, abandonedly, with (and like) small children! 😂13 -
#nsv Broke in my Brooks shoes today; thankful to get them 40% off at The Foot Traveler10

I made good choices today: I had both fruit and veggies with every meal, I went on a bike ride, I went on 2 10 minute walks with the dog, and I am planning to do a stretching routine after I post this. I went over on calories but overall it was a good day so I am not going to sweat it.
And on a totally non related note, I got 2 footlockers packed. I am moving in a few months, but I have an opportunity to send some stuff in a couple weeks - 6 weeks before I move - so I need to get a move on with that!
Here's to more good choices tomorrow!12 -
Did a lot of yard work today and noticed that my mobility has gotten better.
Also, hit my secondary weekly steps goal 100k for the 14th week in a row and 90 plus for my 17th week in a row. Additionally, I only missed my daily goal of 12k twice in that 17 week stretch, both times I had a stomach bug and walking was ill advised.

Can fit back into my size 8 legging without them rolling down😁👍18

First time I maintained my weight for 8 weeks in a row!! Though it's connected to the scale, life isn't always easy. Through the 8 weeks of ups and downs. I am heart failure I DID GAIN 1 week, YO 10 lbs, but at once got a hold of my cardiologist (it was fluid around my heart) we adjusted my meds, and the following Saturday I was back at my maintenance weight! Learning to NOT eat my emotions is the key.17

I explored some cave passage this weekend which, as far as we can tell, was previously unexplored. I managed about 15 metres into the squeeze; a friend managed 30m which was sufficient to link it up to known passage. It was ultra-tight; you couldn't lift your head at all at various points.
The photo is me entering the bottom hole of the system. I think I was the fourth person to see this passage.

This is the stuff of nightmares for me, but I applaud your ability and willingness to squeeze into that tiny hole!18 -

This afternoon while driving tired, I almost took the exit to my gym instead of staying on the highway to where I was going. Apparently my subconscious now thinks all car trips lead to the gym. My default used to be Walmart.25

I went down a size on my watch band! This is the 2nd downsize since I started in January. I also am starting to see my collar bones!21
