Hi, Gale, and welcome to this Community!
There are quite a few of us 60+ people here, at various stages of weight management and/or fitness improvement. Age is not a barrier.
One thing to do is to read the "Most Helpful Posts" in each topic section here, as you have time, starting with the ones in "Getting Started" and "Health and Weight Loss". Direct links here:

IMO, the most helpful single on-ramp to using MFP successfully is this post:

Don't let that joke-y clickbait title put you off: It's solid, common sense information.
Wishing you much success!0 -
I got my bus pass last month. I with WW before.
I am almost always stressed by my difficult weight lost journey. I need to get to below pre diabetic( I am on the dot of the lowest threshold.) And I do not want to take statins.
So here I am having another go at tracking!!
I only need to loose about kg plus. And it is so difficult!!
I would love to hear from you .

Hi Gale, I also just started here @ MFP from WW. I am 65 yrs old and I have found that for me and my physical limitations due to back issues and Fibromyalgia that it is hard for me to lose big #'s. Last year on WW I lost a little over 20 lbs but it took me 6 months. I had to start walking slowly at just 15 min increments and slowly each week added more time until I was up to 2 to 3 miles a day. Let's try to connect regularly here for encouragement 😀 😊. We GOT this!!! My motto is. "Slow amd steady wins the race'0
