Realistic weight loss goals

Hi,I’d like to lose 2 inches off of my waist in two weeks without over restricting,I’m vegetarian and tend to avoid dairy and eggs.Is this realistic?I’ve had rapid inch loss previously, but I was not eating enough. How can I do this safely and sustainably?should I be more patient?

Fat loss? Not realistic, at least not any way that's healthy or practical alongside a normal active life.

Inches of anything at all, don't care what? It's quite difficult as a vegetarian (which I am myself) but ultra low carb for two weeks, virtually no added salt (on top of a reasonable calorie deficit) might get you close.
It'd mostly be water weight reduction.

Take a look at bodybuilder contest prep, or other extreme routines used by lightweight athletes to make weight. (I know you're saying inches, not weight. Close idea.)

If that's not enough, add shapewear.

Or . . . start 6 months or so ago.

What's your rush? This isn't a good idea, seriously.

no. 1. you wouldn’t get there and 2. it wouldn’t be fat loss. If you are going on vacation or something why not just buy something new that flatters your current shape?

No, not realistic or safe. Do be more patient.

If you want to do this for a trip or an event, as said above, buy something new and flattering and/or use shape wear.

An inch represents about 5-7 lbs of fatloss in most people so 2” in 2 weeks isn’t realistic. The first few weeks of dieting down your body is adjusting and not much progress will be made. A consistent weekly deficit over time is what works

Thanks everyone!I’ll definitely be more patient,I have a festival coming up,but I really don’t think most people will mind,I suppose it’s just my own outlook

Hardly anyone notices that small of a loss anyway. Just take your time and do it safely and moderately.
