Hi everyone - I'm Jane from Alberta Canada. I live with my husband and our 3 kitties.
Highest weight was 152 lb April 3. Ultimate goal weight is 132 lb.
My goals for July are:

Hi, I'd like to join this group. It looks like a lot of of encouragement and healthy weight loss. I'm 66 and am a retired elementary teacher. I gained at least 15 pounds over the last two years and would like to lose it. I joined a great group at the Y but oh, those pounds still keep coming. Here are my July weight goals:

My name is Donna. I am 5’ 5” tall, 63 years old and from the Michigan USA. In 2016 I weighed 253 lbs. I am on a journey of health and to get back to the real me.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Goal: (Five lb Loss) 193.2

Mini challenge: My monthly goal is always about 5 pounds per month. HOWEVER, I never seem to make that. I will continue to keep that goal because it Should Be achievable (even though it is not for me) but never say never, right? So, Between Independence Day Holiday (July 4th) and Labor Day Holiday (Sept 4th) I will weigh somewhere, ANYWHERE in the 180’s. I don’t care if it’s on the brim. I’ve got to start getting further away from the 200’s again! Starting Weight on 7/4 is 195.4.

07/07-195.6-(Trend Weight 196.8)- Because I stay up so late, if I don’t eat dinner very very late (10 pm – Midnight) I will get too hungry and will end up in a binge. I think the fact that I only sleep about 4 hours per night (leaving a 20 hour eating window) is the biggest culprit but I have never seemed to need more than 4 hours per night. About once per week I make up for it with a 6 hour night usually. So planning my meals and snacks can be difficult. This is how I have been handling it lately: I try to do Intermittent Fasting (if sugar doesn’t drop) making my first meal around 3 – 4:00 pm. Because of IF I usually only eat two meals. Snack about 7-8:00 pm. Dinner 10-Midnight. Snack about 2 hours after dinner (usually 1 oz nuts and 1 square of 90% cacao dark chocolate.) The last snack is pretty close to bedtime but I’m usually getting a bit hungry again by then. The fat content usually shows up on my scale in the morning (like it did today) which is frustrating. I have tweaked and tweaked but my stomach seems to be the boss. I’ve ABSOLUTELY got to avoid hunger at night or it’s not pretty! I’ll literally clean the pantry out! Something I’ve noticed that I found strange: If I haven’t eaten yet (during my IF) I can go without food with no problem. But once I eat my first meal at 3:30 or 4:00 pm, I am hungry more frequently for the rest of the day/night. I also obsess about food more often once I’ve had it. Very weird.

Here is a picture of the ceiling we were worked on...I will say our basement is big and this is only the smaller half. This picture has an optical illusion...the angle I took it makes it look like the lights are random. They are not. Those lights were a pain, too! I will try and add pictures on the progress we make in the basement improvements.
But I do consider it a NSV that I was able to help. Just 6 months ago that would not have been possible.6 -

Diet was on point. I’ve been bouncing around these same numbers since just prior to the 4th. I may zig-zag this week and see what happens.

I want to get better. After 2 surgeries want to get back to healthy weight. I don't like myself in pics so decided to jump back in loose some weight and eat healthy.
I am kavya from Texas. Working mom of 2 kids. Need to keep myself motivated.

07/10-194.4-(Trend Weight 196.4)- Whoop, there it is! Was looking for it yesterday but it was nowhere to be found! Today is travel. That is always dangerous with the diet and activity and I wish it was on a different day since I’ve hit a weight that I haven’t been at (or maintained more than 24 hours) since late May. Ugh. Today I need to focus on BOTH choices and portion control. My mini-goal is to make it back into the 180’s by the end of summer (Labor Day). I did not succeed in my last mini-challenge. I’d like to make this goal. I really want to show my endocrinologist that I can control my blood sugars without insulin. In the 180’s my glucose levels and A1C will be much improved. In the low 170’s or high 160’s I’ll probably go into remission and not need treatment at all (no more diabetes!) I really have a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. I just need to reach for the stars. I’m down 3.8 lbs so far this round. That is remarkable for me. Gotta keep going! I am enjoying and appreciating all the inspirations I am getting from this group.
