    8/10 129.0 Had 4 oz brisket and did my best to rinse off that sweet sauce but it was still there. I had a no sugar whisky sour at home.
    8/11 128.5 Good day yesterday. Under on all macros except fat - 7 over on that but fat satisfies. Wanted evening snack - had 1T peanut butter - the brand I have is all natural and the oil separates. I scooped out some of the pb and let the oil drip back into the jar.
    8/12 128.0 Leftover pot roast and ate a few chunks of white potato and slices of carrot.
    8/13 129.0 Totally okay with this. We went out to eat at a nearby Mexican restaurant. I had chips and a chimichanga and I ate the whole thing. Today, Great Greek. I’m going to change my order and get chicken instead of beef! 😱😱😱
    8/14 129.0 I think I’m going to try to fast today. I need to get back in that habit. DH has left overs from Mexican and Greek.
    8/15 128.5 Why was I awake at 4AM???? I gave up and got up at 4:25. Sitting here drinking coffee and reading the message board now. 90 degrees at 4AM but going down to 87 before heading back up to 105*.

    So are you back to walking 4-6 miles?
    How many laps/how long was each swimming session - I have a pool... this sounds rather fun....interested on details!
    I'm not into running.

    On the holistic doctor... Funny you should mention, because I tried one for my thyroid and, while parts of it were good, I felt horrible and was gaining weight also. I agree, 50% of it was me and mindset but, seriously I feel like my journey wasted some of my money. I finally found a doctor that is amazing, love her to death and she's super knowledgeable about everything thyroid. All that to say this, I understand where you're coming from.


    @SherryRueter No, I’m not yet back to the long walks. My knee keeps swelling post-walk, although I don’t feel any discomfort while I’m walking. I’m going for shorter walks (20-30 min at a time, so 1-1.5 miles-ish).

    I don’t remember how many laps or the length of the pool—I swam laps for half an hour. I miss it!

    I’m glad you found the right doctor. Health care can be a disconcerting, sometimes infuriating and terrifying journey.

    65 yr young F, 5ft 4 Round 231 (my 162nd). Thank you @quiltingjaine for the new round.
    Goal this round is to get back under and stay under 138. Holiday is now in 31 days, I still need to crack on & lose a few more pounds, starting to get back into some holiday clothes, but can't let up: time is running out! So, 31 days, 3 rounds at a pound per round should easily get me to where I want to be, only I can do it, I’ve done it before so I can do it again if I knuckle down!! Really try to stay on track & do another complete round without binging. After all I am what I eat in more ways than one, my whole demeanour is totally different when I am happy with myself!!
    Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 134. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

    8/10 138.8 - 13.92 miles walked, we went in the opposite direction to Chatsworth Estate, up behind the house, along the ridge & back down through the woods, a third of exercise calories eaten back.
    8/11 139 - had 2 little DGDs yesterday for the day, youngest is getting over chicken pox so restricted where we could take them; picked raspberries then took a picnic up into the Darbyshire Dales, managed a very slow 4 miles in total, ate more than exercise calories.
    8/12 138.8 - moved caravan over to Retford in Notts, a beautiful little site on the banks of a stream and every pitch has a staging over the stream with a picnic table in it. Managed 5.26 mile walk around village, 100 calories over.
    8/13 139.2 – spent the day at Bolsover Castle, it has the oldest indoor riding school still open and in use in the UK; we had tickets to see a manège display on how William Cavendish used to train his horses before he went into battle in the mid 1600’s, so fascinating, we then went on a guided tour of the outside of the castle before wandering around the inside ourselves, just manage to rack up 3.87 miles, but they were not at a good pace, just a bimble! Just read my post from yesterday – spellchecker changed a few of the words, looks like I was drunk when I wrote it!!
    8/14 141.6???? Travelled back home, managed a 5.5 mile walk before we packed up and left, then after unpacking at home we hit the garden; dead heading,weeding and tidying after 10 days away, looks lovely again now, miles racked up to 7.45. Pizza night, hope this jump is due to sodium, 95 calories over.

    8/15 140.6 – 5.97 miles walked in the dry window before I was forced home again by precipitation. 65% exercise calories eaten back.

    Female, 39 years old. 5'5" from Greece...Glad to be back!

    Last two years gained approximately 40 pounds (20kgr)..
    Tried drastic measures to get back to track, but to no avail... So I am now taking it one day at a time, with baby steps and learning to set realistic goals! Trying to make it a lifestyle choice, rather than a punishment !!

    CW 170.8 lbs (77.5 kgr)
    GW for the 10 days 168.6 lbs (76.5 kgr).... two pounds per round...
    UGW 125 lbs (57 kgr)

    8/10 170.8 lbs (77.5 kgr). Very happy to see the scale going down even for a small amount... I have managed to stay within my calories (1200) and add some form of exercise!!

    8/10 219 This is exactly where I started last round. The difference is that I know I am up because I had a hard yoga class yesterday & my muscles are sore (not because I ate cookies). I am very close to being my normal self again. It’s a good thing because I have to work full time in September so now is the time to finish dealing with all of the mental stuff!

    8/11 217.7. I feel like I will be making progress again. I said no to my family’s request for takeout supper. I did some gardening & cleaning, took a walk & did yoga.I slept better last night & FIL is coming for a visit this weekend so I need to get our house cleaner than it is so I may skip yoga & just concentrate on cleaning & gardening today after my walk.

    8/14 219.6 The scale is all over the place just like my calorie & carb intake! I am going to experiment for the next month & fast Monday-Friday & eat on the weekends. We have something almost every weekend but I really want to make some progress before my niece’s wedding on September 16th. I am pretty sure I am in the right mood to do this. 🤞🏻
    8/15 219.4 Well, that’s disappointing! I did eat about 300 calories because I was not keto last week so a low calorie keto day helps me fast. Hopefully the scale will make some good progress today. I will still allow miso soup today & maybe celery but that’s it. I think I have the cold that is going around our house so today will be a lazy day at home after I work for a bit this morning.

    8/16 217.4 I did not fast perfectly yesterday. I had some soup that I make for breaking fasts & some chocolate 🤦‍♀️. Today I will make that soup again & freeze it, so that I have it on hand. I plan to fast for 5 days a week until I reach my goal. I know that it is hard but at least if I am doing this my calories stay low, even if I don’t eat, I remain low carb & I limit snacking. Eventually the 5 day fasts will be easy. I recognize that I have to be flexible since plans change. We are going out for supper to a family favourite tomorrow instead of Saturday as planned so I have to change my fasting plan so that I can enjoy the meal.
