Hey ladies! How is your week going? Happy Hump day!

Things here have been going well. I have been eating well and sticking mostly to my meal plan. I have also been really good with sodium this week. My finger is starting to feel better and doesn't throb everytime I move it so I am thinking I might get some exercise in one of these days. Fall is coming which means my allergies suck but I am not letting that get me down this year. This weekend is supposed to be perfect, 60's and sunny! I can't wait.

Hope you are all having a great week!

Hello Hotties! I am back in t he game. Sorry for not keeping you in the loop, first I got sick and then I had a mini-vacation/wedding to go to in Canada. We had a fantabulous time! I was the maid of honor and was able to fit in my dress, phew! That was a close call but the hard work payed off. Now back to tracking! I got a bit too relaxed and I don't want to fall completely off the wagon :)

Congrats dez! You looked amazing on your special day - oh how I love weddings :)

Lucy, show us a picture of you in your beautiful MOH dress!!! =)

I am challenging everyone to TRY and burn 2,500 calories next week. That's 500 a day for 5 days. It's very doable and will be the good kick in the booty you might need! =)=)

Working on burning 2500 calories this week!

Also, I've not been logging in as much because I've been having migraines so I tend to stay away from anything that's brights. That, my friends, can be quite a challenge when you are an IT specialist :) Will send a pic of my fantabulous weekend in Canada.

Love you all ... I can't get you gals out of my mind ... You keep me in check and keep me coming back. Hope everyone is having a great day :)

Not much for weekend goals food wise. I have date night tonight with my husband, then a wedding in Detroit tomorrow night (open bar... ugh..). However all is not lost yet! I WILL work out everyday this weekend! That is my goal, I will find time to work out because I ALWAYS feel better after a workout and I deserve it.

Hey Ladies~ Calories burned this week: 2495 (Okay, why couldn't I get 5 more cals burned to hit that 2500?!?) :0)

Had a great weekend, indulged some: We took the top of our wedding cake out of the freezer and I've had a piece or 2 every day! But, it's so delicious! I didn't want to wait a year, because I don't think it will taste as good then... that's a long time! So, here's to breaking traditions! ;)

Went for a run out by our family cabin, beautiful fall weather, leaves changing... and my puppy loved it! He was off leash!

Hubby bought me a few new workout outfits last week so hopefully that helps keep my motivation up there!!! I want to maintain I think... but stay under 160. Cheers to a new week!

I had the most amazing weekend. We went to NYC and got to visit the hubby's twin brother (I had forgotten how much they look alike), some of my family members and other friends. My second cousin was celebrating her 50th birthday and what a birthday bash it was ... I had a blast. One thing about Dominicans, they live in the moment and boy did we ever live up to it. I love to watch other people dance and have fun, so it was a great form of entertainment. Loved it!

Stopped in NJ on our way back home and visited my old bestie, which I had not seen in about 10 or 15 years. How awesome is that? Well, back to reality now (though we are already planning our next trip :) ... I haven't been loggin as much, specially my workouts, but I burned 2300 calories this week.

Tried to load up a new pic (profile), but I managed to cut our heads off *not good* ... will need to reupload later on. I'm the one wearing the 'light brown' dress, obviously ... brown suit in the pic is my hubby and the white gown belongs to the bride (to state the obvious) ... note to self, do not update MFP pics from blackberry :)

LOL @ not waiting for the anniversary to eat the cake. FYI though, mine tasted even better after being in the freezer for a year ... it was sooo good ... sounds like yours was yummi as well ;)

    Fun!

Dani - you are doing AWESOME! I'm proud of you girl! :)

Des - we ate our cake topper on our 1 month anniversary. We couldn't wait. What made me sad was our top was supposed to be chocolate and it was french vanilla. :( My hubby got to eat it all. LOL.

We had lots of fun in Niagara Falls. We spent the first 1/2 of our honeymoon there so it was nice to be back. :) I definitely endulged on little mini waffles with strawberries and homemade whip cream for breakfast! But after all my walking, somehow I weighed in at 123.8! Woot!

got to report last weeks burn of a dismal 1086, at least it was more than the last couple of weeks

Trying to get back into everything. I'll be missing out on my usual Saturday morning Jazzercise class for the next 5+ weeks because DD actually starts her soccer instruction....which runs through the start of that class. If I can wake up and hubby is home, I might make it to the 7:15am class...but that is hard being on a Saturday! DH is done with his racing soon though, so I should be able to hit back up some Sunday classes again soon.

I haven't really been reporting my weight because I'm mostly fluctuating in the mid 140s up one week down another. Since I'm really trying to maintain anyway, I'm not frustrated by the ups since it is never that much.

I did totally waste the calories I burned today at our Total Body Conditioning class. Our receptionist, who got married yesterday, brought in many leftovers from her dessert table this afternoon, and well, it was way to hard to pass up. I did pick up a Strawberry lemon tart though, so there was a fruit involved. :-)

Read this in Self magazine, and thought I needed to share it!

FIND YOUR EDGE. No one who has achieved greatness got there by following an easy path laid out by others. She did it by creating her own vision and striving to achieve, then surpass it. Now that the lazy days of summer are behind you, it's time to renew your focus. Thank about what you want to accomplish, set a goal, and take a step toward it every day. You are standing on the brink of something spectacular.

Happy Tuesday all~ Enjoy your week!! xoxo

This week has been a mess. I was so proud of how I was last weekend. I didn't overindulge and was ready to get b ack into it. Monday was great. Then I stopped tracking and gave in to all my weaknesses. I mean, I could have been worse but I definitely didn't make any pretenses of watching what I was eating or trying to make the healthier of the choices. Now I feel like I have been hit by a bus and am feeling like I can't get back to it. I haven't felt this defeated in a long time. I don't know if being so close to my goal has done something to me mentally but since I realized that I am only a few pounds away it has been a horrible downward spiral. I need to stop it now and get back on track.

    Weekend goals:
    - Track everything (no matter how bad)
    - No major over indugling on Saturday (my b-day)
    - DRINK WATER
    - Stop beating myself up for every little slip up
    - No scale until next week- no need to discourage myself with flucations.
  • I forgot to put in my cals from last week! 3384 total.

this week will not be so hot since I didn't workout while in ohio for work :( boo bad job me. worked out this morning though!

I feel that this next week is do or die time. There's so many showers/wedding/games/activites planned the next couple months, I need to relearn how to control myself. My metabolism has kept up and I'm only up 2lbs above my very lowest weight... after a month of not exercising or counting calories I couldn't believe it. I'm taking my life and my weight loss back. I started the tracker back to zero, and I'm starting fresh again. Here's to a great week!

I go to the doctor tomorrow to learn more about my back issue. I have muscle spasms across what seems like my whole back and my doctor wants me to stop 30 day shred while she works on it the next couple weeks. I'm going to take this as an opportunity to get back on the C25K program and focus on my running/jogging. They told me I've lost 3lbs since my last visit early July. Can't believe it!!

Robin - my goal is to report a calorie burn to you on Sunday (that isn't zero). Hopefully get us moving across this country!!

Sooo, how did it go? Are you okay?

It went well. She manipulated my back, and apparently put everything back where it's suppose to be. I've had back pain since, but nothing as bad as it was. I just did 30 Day Shred Level 1 yesterday, and hopefully I can work my way up to level 2 again soon.
