I'm going to really push myself these next couple months, which is going to be tough because of the holidays... in the US, we have to battle Thanksgiving feasts, including all the desserts, and good food. Then comes December, with all the Christmas parties, dinners, and all the goodies that people make.

No excuses though, let's get this done!

@jopa17 - Thanks for starting this new challenge. October was a good month, let's make November just as good.

@haslam5 - I hear you. Everyone keeps talking about getting through the holidays. I resisted Halloween candy and I'll have a plan for Thanksgiving and Christmas too.

@myhands4God - Don't let the holidays stress you. Make a plan. I'm substituting mashed potatoes and gravy for Cinnamon sweet potato with apples.
@Ivanhoutan - You will hit 160 someday, just believe in yourself.
@JillHK - Stay positive and with determination 135 is a good goal.
@ozdeelite - That is a nice weight-loss so far this month. I think lifting weights is a great way to burn fat and build muscle. We don't want to be losing any muscle.
@tessharper419 - Wow! Congrats on losing 28 lbs. Impressive!
@PurpleAshes - What were you strategies getting through Canadian Thanksgiving? Do you have any tips you want to share?
@Patti241, @HungryCatapillar23, @haslam5, and @jopa17 - Let's all be mindfull in the choices we make this month.

This month I working on mindful eating strategies.
    Mindfull Eating Goals
    *Eat without distractions
I want to eat at the kitxhen table without the distraction of TV or phone.
*Eat slower I want to chew my food atleast 10 times, and set my utensil down between bite.
*Control portion size I will continue to measure my food and use a smaller plate.
*Don't skip meals I will plan ahead and have measured snacks on hand.

@Valveta We didn’t host thanksgiving dinner this year at our house, so we didn’t have any left over deserts or anything to temp us.

This month I’ll be working on healthy snacking, and upping my workouts.

Today was leg day! Looking forward to tomorrow’s workout, upper body.

A good solid week for me, very happy with myself! I did well staying under most days, actually got in a couple of walks, and did some stretching.

I'm not on my goal pace but i am heading in the right direction!

    I can’t believe it’s November 10 already.

Yesterday was a challenging day. I’m surprised I dropped 3 ounces since yesterday.

With The daylight savings change where I live the days are getting darker. And it is getting to me plus the room where I am working the floor lamp broke so I’m trying to replace it but I’ve been sitting in the dark for about two weeks and it’s really making me nutty 🥺.

How’s everybody else doing? I’d like to see your post.

The week started great, I got my workouts in Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday I had a specialist appointment and that’s a 5 hour drive both ways, so I didn’t get my workout done. And yesterday was a wash recovering from Wednesday’s appointment and drive. I did get a decent workout in today with leg day and 30 mins of cardio. And no late night snacking! So that’s a win!

@PurpleAshes - I rotate my workouts too. (Upper, lower, core, HIIT, Palates, and Kickboxing) I like the variety and it keeps it interesting. I don't really like to workout but I do it anyway. I'm better with the nutrition part of my journey.
@JillHK - You're welcome. I do a lot of research for lifetime strategies to keep it off, when I reach my goal. My goal is between 130 lb to 136 lb weight management. 10 years ago I lost 45 lbs. and after I quit smoking I put most of it back on. I don't want that to happen again.
