    Hi everyone,

    I'm a little nervous that my next weigh in is the day after Thanksgiving, LOL! I will be going to my son's and his wife's home. We're going to go on a walk first if the weather is good. Also, he doesn't like turkey so it won't be a traditional meal; so I'm hoping I won't go so overboard. I'm being extra careful right now.

    I will be bringing some things, like stuffed hot peppers with prosciutto and provolone, blue cheese stuffed olives and coconut custard pie and maybe some sparkling (non- alcoholic) cider, but I won't gorge or anything! 😉

    24 Nov - 158 lbs. I handled Thanksgiving pretty well. I was just slightly over my nutrition goals for the day. When the day was over and I was at hone late at night I followed my husband into the kitchen and watched him eat some pie. He said come on it's Thanksgiving. I wanted a peace but saved it for this morning.

    Happy day after Thanksgiving everyone!

    So sure, post-feasting shows a gain, because I ate way more than in used to and it was also later than in used to eating. Still, we went for a walk before the meal; so I totaled over 12,000 steps yesterday. At least I didn't go over back over 150, which is what I was most worried about. I'm going to get rid of this (temporary) gain over the next few days.

    The plague hit our house! One of our darling children brought Covid home from school last week, so, of course I also got it. So I haven’t worked out in a week and it’s been survival dinners, and comfort food. Lots of soup.

    I did weight myself on the 24th, no movement, not surprised.

    Hello everyone,

    I'm sorry for my absenteeism but I've been gone for the past couple of weeks visiting family for the holiday. I didn't have a chance to weigh myself while I was gone and I really wasn't adhering to my diet... such as life in an Italian family! 😑 As it looks, I've only gained a couple of pounds! 😊

    I want to welcome the new challengees that have joined us recently and congratulate those that have been with us for a while and to encourage you all to keep on keeping on. I hope all your challenges are going well!

    Since I did weigh in this morning, I went ahead and posted it below. I'll be weighing in on Friday as well. I'm going to also post a progress picture to see if there is any difference between before Thanksgiving and afterwards to be seen! 😬

    To all those who may have gained a pound or two over Thanksgiving, like I did, don't sweat it; that weight will come off with a little hard work this next week, if it hasn't already.

    @Walela617 - that sounds like it was a delicious feast!

    @abowersgirl - welcome! Looks like you're off to a great start already.

    @Patti241 - slow and steady wins the race. Keep on doing what you're doing

    @Valveta - that's great willpower! I'm not sure I could have done the same.

    @haslam5 - you're doing great, even is better than a gain!

    @ozdeelite - don't discourage over half a kg, you had a great month overall!

    @PurpleAshes - someone in my circle got covid over the week as well. Fortunately, no one else contracted it. I hope you and yours are feeling better.

    Keep up the excellent work everyone, and let's make December even more productive

    I started off November decently but a two week Thanksgiving with family was more than I could handle. It was lots of good food, drink and good times.

    All in all, I didn't do as bad as I figured I would.

    I'm still steadily losing weight at a slow rate. I didn't make my November weight goal of 153 lbs. So I've changed my December goal to 150 lbs. I do however notice some NSV's. I've lost 1 1/2 inches from my waist, 2 inches from my thighs, and 2 1/2 inches from my hips. Although, I still have a little pooch in my belly, my love handles, under arm bulge and breasts have noticeable shrunk.

    November/December weight challenge
    am excited about this. Usually I allow the excuses of it being a holiday to go off plan. I want to stay focused and push forward.

    3 Nov -193-I forgot to weigh in yesterday and had pizza for dinner. I was sure it would be higher. I was 193.2 last week.
