Good luck. Have faith in what youre doing and dont be put off by slow progress. I've been there, seen the ups and downs but stick through it๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ผ oh and take progress photos along the way. They'll help younsee how far youve made it๐๐ผ2

Welcome, and congratulations on the start!
Please do try not to feel too stressed: You don't have to get everything perfect from day one. It's just find to make some incremental, manageable positive changes that move you gradually in a better and better direction.
If something doesn't go as you'd hoped, don't beat yourself up. Self-blame doesn't burn any extra calories or create any fitness improvement. It just feels icky, and not much else.
A way to look at it: We do experiments to find new and improved habits. Not every experiment has a positive result, but we can still learn from the result and adjust our plan to work better, based on that result.
Keep going in that way, and progress will happen.
Regular people can do this. I'm a flaky hedonistic aging hippie with a very low supply of motivation, discipline, or willpower. I still managed to lose from obese to a healthy weight using MFP, stay there for 7+ years since, and get reasonably fit. If I can do it, anyone can.
