1990 (Age 32) - Avg. 135 lbs
2001 (Age 43) - Avg 145 lbs
2010 (Age 52) HW 172 lbs
UGW = 130lbs (ceiling)
In Aug 2014 @ 157lbs (down 15 from heaviest of 172lbs in 2010), I decided to take control of my health. I lost 30lbs by 1/1/2015. Weight topped @ 128-132lbs through the end of 2020. Five years!
🎢 Roller Coaster Begins….
2020 through 2021, I fluctuated 132-137lbs. Three more solid years.
8/1/ 2022 crept up to 140lbs.
Dropped to 128lbs again by 9/30 then held 130lbs till 12/22.
2023 Back ⬆️ 145lbs by July 15! 15lbs BOOM! Enjoyed eating & margaritas way too much! Ive always eaten healthy BUT portion control is/was a huge issue. Started tracking. Joined “Just give me 10 days” R231 in beginning of 8/2023. Here we are!
I learned MY choices created an emotional 🎢 roller coaster with yo-yo weight and fitness. My forever goal is to reach 130lbs as a ceiling. Pretty clear to me that once I reached my 60s, I would reach a goal weight and then relax/ drift backwards. So glad 145lbs was the max over the last nine years.
I also noticed that as I aged it became much MUCH more difficult to lose weight. I could loose 15lbs easy in 6 to 8 weeks up to my 60s … This is absolutely not true anymore!!!!

Ultimate goal: 125
SW RND 244: 137.7
12/8: 137.3. I've been really tired lately because one of my boys has been having a hard time with sleeping. So I haven't been going to the gym as much as I should, skipped it yesterday so I could get some extra sleep. My food has been good. I've really been enjoying OMAD. It's easier to refrain from snacking if I just tell myself "it's not my eating time right now. I'm a bit disappointed that my weight isn't following suit, I'm still counting calories and staying under my goal.

I'm 30F and committed to wondering less about the scale and wondering instead about how great it's going to be when my daily healthy practices are so normal that it would be weird not to do them, even on vacations or holidays. It has been nice so far.
I need to remember: Enjoy the process. Don't fixate on the outcome. I'm planning on taking a December 31st progress pic of my pants to keep me focused this month and not backslide. I don't need to care what I weigh as long as they still fit and hopefully they'll fit even better.

@huango You look terrific! The red and black reminded me that I started to make a skirt, blouse and jacket to take cruising but then the world shut down so I folded the pieces and put it away. I guess I should get it out and finish it! Oh and I need to lose the 15# I’ve gained in the interim. 95 days to go!9 -

To all, the idea is take a picture of yourself in a pair of pants! Maybe they are too tight and they're goal pants. Maybe they used to fit and now they're too loose. Notice and celebrate the NSV of clothes fitting better no matter what the scale says.7 -

Day/Weight/Comment
12/07 …..179.2….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
12/08 -179.0- (Trend weight 181.0) An internal celebration today and another near one! The celebration: I have officially moved from the Obese category to the Overweight category by the skin of my teeth. Literally, by decimal points I have made it. My last super big deal accomplishment was getting into Onederland and this, my friends is so much bigger and more important to me than even that. It is not just a number to me. It is a symbol of health. My near celebration today: I am 0.1 point away from my lowest weight in 5 ½ years according to any records I have. I really thought I would hit it today but life doesn’t always cater to us, now does it? You can bet that I am going to be stellar, as perfect as a human can, fastidious and compulsive even, to get that 178.9 or less tomorrow! Progress has been so slow this week although my diet has been very good since the birthday party last weekend. However, due to being so sick I have had no real structured exercise for most of the days. Just on my feet more than usual due to decorating but that’s about it. It is really showing me how much exercise helps. I’ll get back at it, as soon as I am strong enough. This sickness has not subsided WHATSOEVER. These next two challenges are going to allow me to put all my new knowledge into practice and not just theory if I’ll just try. I mean, REALLY try. Good luck to everyone this round. It’s a tough time to lose weight or reach or personal goals but we are in this together. If you need me, I’ll be over there, as usual, in your corner cheering you on!
