    I'm trying to entice several of my friends into doing a Warrior Dash together next May. I have a "date" for drinks scheduled with one of my bestest friends here too. Supposed to have done it in July, it's September and we're still trying to make it happen. There are so many great people here, how could you not wanna meet and hang in person?!

    Im also supposed to meet 1PrettyPain next month to run a 5k

    But no one else yet :cry:

    I wish there would be a MFP Members Only cruise. I'd pay out the wazoo to attend that!! Just think of all the sponsors that could help pay for the organization of this? An annual event that could bring in lots of $$$ for Mike? Whatcha think, Mike???

    I met an MFPr, her husband and her kids while they were in my area. I know several people on MFP that have met up for a get together.

    What I want to know is who is going to chair the committe on getting a big MFP gathering going in Vegas....

    I met 2 MFP's a few weeks ago. It was fun! I ate almost all their cheese.

    Some folks approached Mike to make it a 'real' MFP event and get sponsors and have like a small trade show atmosphere. He declined and said anything we wanted to do would be unofficial and we would have to take it upon oursleves. Which may mean we couldn't contact sponsors under the name of MFP....

    I am all in for a major gathering though...

    I'm all for helping, but we need a plan.

    Will people sign up for (and pay for) rooms at an 'off-strip' hotel/casino in Vegas?

    Will we have catered/hotel/meeting room gatherings and meals.

    What entertainment (other than drinking and gambling) will there be?

    So we get 3000 people... can we handle that kind of commitment?
