    01/01-181.6-(Trend Weight: 180.3)-

    01/02-181.4-(Trend Weight: 180.4)- I’ll take whatever progress I can get. My Holiday feast was on the 30th so I am just trying to pull myself up and out of this hole. 0.2 loss is better than nothing considering all the leftovers and baked goods that are still lingering.

    01/09-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- I woke up to a big disappointment. I got on my scales and they kept flipping from 174.8 to 175.4 which I know is impossible at this time. I haven’t even had TMI so they should be the same or even up slightly from yesterday’s weight (179.8). Also, it did not change over and show me the fat %, Water %, and all the other data it usually gives. It just went black after the weight every time I tried it. All the functions worked perfectly yesterday. I didn’t have another set of AAA batteries so I borrowed some from my TV remote and it still would not work properly. I’m afraid it’s time for a new scale. This one only lasted two years at most. Strange that it stays nicely lit but won’t perform. Anyway, I’ll be scouring Amazon for a new one today so I won’t be able to weigh until it comes in. I must stay diligent and not let my brain go into free-for-all mode just because I don’t have to weigh for a few days. Yes, I have common sense, but that could very easily happen anyway so I am going to pre-log all my food as soon as I am done posting on my challenges to help me stay in line. I will also force myself to exercise today as I could possibly get lax on that too, thinking I’m getting away with murder with no scale. It kind of feels like the teacher is absent today and I have a brand new very young substitute. As far as I think I have come in this weight loss journey, boy am I ever weak and boy oh boy, do I EVER have such a long way to go. Sometimes the physical part is easier than the mental part! Have a good day my friends. I am buckled down for our 6 – 10 inches expected snow storm. I went out yesterday for all the fresh stuff – eggs-bread-milk so my son & I are prepared.

    Dec 7 189.6 Back on track I hope!! I am a potato chip eater and if candy is in the house if we buy it I will eat it.We bought some but today I didnt eat it!! I got a can of mixed nuts and had a very small handful of them. For the potato chips I got veggie straws. A little better than chips Baby steps!!

    Todays weight January 2 193.4!!! yesterday I was 192.8
    Not sure why the almost one pound gain. Five days ago I was 189.8
    Going to wach the weight I dont appear to be holding water
    So I will throw out all the leftover ""crap"" here and try to get back on track
    If scale Keeps going up will contact doctor

    Was good this week until yesterday I had a big mac, fries, ice cream and a cookie!!!
    But the scaled moved back down going the right way. Have to be good tho, that junk food will make it creep back up.

    Logged in all my foods this week. Down one pound from last week Eating no more than 1300 ish calories per day. Most days satisified some times hungry . Since start of challenge have only lost 0.4 a little less than a half pound. One good thing I didnt gain at this point in time over this holiday season. I will try to make most of last two weeks Ruby!!!

    Sometimes when I gain a pound if I have notgone over calories, It will
    show up as a loss within thre week if I continue not to go over calories. :)

    01/16-183.4-(Trend Weight: 181.5)- I had to get a new scale this past week. I started on the new scale at a much higher weight than I’d been seeing of late. A little may have been the unaccountability and self-sabotage as I waited for the new scale to arrive via UPS, but some of it surely was the difference in scales. My fat % is also MUCH MUCH higher on the new scales since I received it. However, my visceral fat is MUCH lower. I’m confused but can only begin tracking my data now, where I’m at, and take it from here.

    My scale has not moved. My husband decided he wanted to learn how to bake baguettes and I have been sampling them. Plus, my friend gave me the best almond cake recipe and I have made it several times, it is so good. This is not the way January was supposed to go! I must refocus for the remainder of the month.

    New end of month goal 153...I need to have a small victory
    Ultimate goal 145 - 148.

    How many calories do you think is in wonton soup say a cup and also a shrimp egg roll. Both from chinese restaurant. so I am sure the egg roll would be deep fried. Any ideas?
