Hey everyone! Just realized that I missed weigh in day! I did take my measurements tho and made sure to post them, and will put the weight up tomorrow morning! For some reason I thought I was supposed to do it on Thursday, and was a day early lol!!!

Great challenges! I have been horribly neglecting my food diary the past week and a half... so now that will force me to track my intake. I did have some inch loss this past week tho, so I don't think I have been doing too badly....

got my measurements down on the spreadsheet finally, since I'm a dork and I measured, and checked in on MFP but didnt' log them on the spreadsheet.

Sounds like everyone's doing good! Let's keep it up!

PS I got 3 servings of veggies in yesterday. I'm proud of myself for that.

Even though I gained weight I still lost half an inch off my waist. Yay! Maybe it's muscle

I guess it depends on your guy! My fiance is 130lbs soaking wet, and is very muscular and lean. He doesn't eat much sometimes, I guess that's why I often lose when I go visit him! He eats smaller portions so I do too so that I don't feel like I'm pigging out! Haha. I am really looking forward to working out with him when we get married though. I guess he does have an advantage or a leg up since he's in the military.

That's the way I always look at it, I'm never too devastated by the number on the scale... I only get upset when I don't see any inch loss lol

Looks like we may be pushing the wedding back a month.... this does not make me happy, but may be neccesary! I'll fill everyone in on the reason as soon as it is for certain! Lots of exciting changes happening in my life and I can't wait to be Mrs. Smith! On the upside, I may have another month to lose this last 40 pounds! Woohooo! Plus, the period bloat is gone for the month and I weighed in early! Can't freakin wait to post our measurements tomorrow!

Ugh... right in the middle of TOM! I felt a little bloaty this morning but still seem to have lost an inch. Yesterday the scale was down 1lb and today it is back at where I was last week. Maybe I'll weigh tomorrow... I really wanted a loss! Weirdness.

Soooo I'm down one pound (yay), but no change in inches. Again. As much as I love seeing the scale change, I'd like some inches to go as well. In other news, I finally decided that we're going to get engagement photos done, so I'm excited about that! Don't have a date set for them yet, I told the girl a few days we have off next month, so we'll see what her work schedule is going to be like and if she can get one of those days off. Even though I'm excited, I'm so nervous about wrecking the pictures, because I tend to take bad pictures haha, I usually end up making a weird face and looking awkward. Whereas my man manages to have a model pose on his face in roller coaster pictures haha

(edited to finished writing, cat walked across the keyboard while I was typing and managed to post it)

I saw gains in inches today but I'm not surprised the way I ate last week.

Poison- the key to good pictures is being relaxed. Maybe get a good rub down before the session and start with doing te wacky pictures so when you do a serious one, you'll be relaxed and happy.

UGH, I gained again! :explode: I am taking a lot of Spin classes so I am hoping I am gaining muscle. The fiance said my calfs are looking particularly muscular so I am definitely gaining muscle.

We are going to look at a venue on Friday. I really hope they are available. This one looks like the one!!

Right now, I am back up in the weight department. Urggggh, 159.2.... I'm thinking it might be because of high sodium intake... I'm currently sipping ridiculous amounts of broth style soups and hot teas with hopes my throat will get well soon. Will post measurements by end of the day.

@Natasha - so exciting!!! It's a great feeling when you finally find the one.. no more "well, this one is alright... lets look at a few more.." And it is such a relief to be able to stop looking around and start ... well.. more planning! haha

So I spent all weekend with food poisioning, and have no idea what my weight is, and didn't bother measuring because my body is out of whack. Sorry gals.

Now I'm feeling better, but am all bloated from 1. throwing up for 2days and 2. it's that TOM again. But again, haven't done any measurements and don't think I'll hit the gym until tomorrow when I'm hopefully feeling more normal again.

@Natasha, gaining muscle is always a good thing! Good for you! And I hope that the venue you check out is "the one".

Wedding wise, we did meet and sign a contract with a photographer and we have a caterer, so sick or not, we're getting stuff checked off our list! :glasses:

ok girls...I need help...and fast!!! We are definitely having to move the wedding from April to May. After talking to the photographer, she is willing to work with us on the date, however, she only has the first two weekends available. The first weekend, I'm afraid won't give us enough time to be ready. (It's only 2 weeks after the original date) The second weekend is Mother's Day weekend. Is it totally crazy to get married the day before Mother's Day? Should we just go with it or start shopping for a new photographer? Keep in mind that we won this photography package, so we don't have a huge budget for photography. I have to make a decision soon....and my decision maker is broken. lol HELP! :noway:  :frown:

I see no problem with Mother's Day weekend! Like nico said, it will gather the families easier to be with their mom on Mother's Day! Good luck!

Haha - my decision maker is broken too! You should have seen me trying to order invitations with my Mom today. I like everything!

Considering the fact that I'm getting married the week before Christmas, I think getting married the day before Mother's Day is TOTALLY ok! It's YOUR day girl, go for it, do whatever makes you happy. I know how you feel - my fiance and I changed our date twice before we settled.

My fiance and I went for some froyo and the restaurant next door had a help wanted sign so I popped in to see what exactly the position was for. Turns out it was for a cook and I was being interviewed on the spot, in my gym shorts and greasy hair. The guy likes me, mostly because I don't have kids and I live down the street. He totally could have been in trouble for asking the questions he did and hiring based on that. Good thing I had all the right answers anyways.

So it looks like the second job hunt has come to a pause. It's not a good job, minimum wage and poopy hours but ok for a second job that I don't really need. I'll still have my eye out for something better but this will get me started with a wedding budget.

My thoughts for weigh in this week: I keep losing inches but hardly any weight ... I have been having my fiance measure me and I am wondering if he is skewing my inch loss numbers to help encourage me? lol I just feel like the inches are coming off way faster than the weight, and it just doesn't seem possible..... I did start a new exercise program at the first of the month, so maybe that has something to do with it also? I just don't know. It's also hard to believe because I still don't see myself as any smaller than I started out with last winter... even tho I have been doing before and afters and can see the difference when they are right next to each other, when I look in the mirror, I see the same ole me. Anyone else have issues with that?

Ok, I posted my measurements finally. I lost a pound (wierd, since it's TOM), but am actually up a tad in inches. That doesn't surprise me since I feel as bloated as a whale. Plus, I spent half the weekend throwing up, so IDK how accurate my measurements are.

@Kansasgirl...if that's the best weekend for having the wedding, then I say do it. Photography is a HUGE cost (we are spending more than we thought on photo, but cutting back on some other stuff to make up for it), so if you won the package, I say that's a pretty good incentive to work with their schedule.

    @Nico...congrats on the second job!

@achasnis...remember that muscle weighs more than fat. I don't have a lot of pounds to lose, so the scale number takes FOREVER to go down, but I lose inches. I also look in the mirror and see the same old me too! Everyone else can see that I've slimmed down except for me! I think we're just our own harshest critic, you know what I mean?

Hope everyone has a fabulous Thursday!

Well, had to give in and get a job to help pay for the wedding and day to day living! Had an interview yesterday with a small law firm and then today with the county attorney. At least it will be a 9-5 job with weekends off! Just know I am going to miss my kids so bad! But then again, it will be nice to have that extra money to start getting things for the wedding!

Congratulations on the jobs Nico and KansasGal!! :flowerforyou:

We are going to look at the venue today. When I called to set up the appointment the lady said they do have our date open. :drinker: I am pretty sure this is where we want it, so as long as their aren't any crazy restrictions...we may have a place! I'll know by this afternoon.

I am so excited. We've been holding off on doing any real planning since we didn't have a venue yet. We can really get moving on the planning now!!

And I would definitely try to work with the photographer if you won the package. Finding a new one can be hard. Our biggest struggle right now is the photographer. All of the ones we have found within the "what we would like to spend" area...are not so good. :frown: The decent ones are a little more than we would like to spend but I think the pictures are important.

The photographer we really really liked is almost half our budget so I finally decided against that one.

I've decided the only way for me to get back on track is to wake up early to exercise. I'm thinking C25K. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with the program?

I actually want to do it too, and tried to start it right after we got engaged in August, but....then I got sucked into the craziness of wedding planning and haven't done well with it at all. Like, I stopped doing it. I've just been doing Zumba classes as I have time to squeeze one in.

Now that some of the bigger details are squared away, I'm thinking about taking another crack at C25K.

And weights. I miss strength training. We've been separated for about 2 months now. :brokenheart: Time for a reunion.

Sorry I haven't been around and discussing things or logging. I ran out of my meds and I use caffeine and sugar as a poor replacement until I can get in to see my doctor. There is no point in logging if it's all horrible.

Also my new job has horrible food both to the taste buds and the waist line. I don't think I will last. Easy is one thing, mind numbing and gross is another.

I took a quick look from my phone. I don't have any clue what happened except if someone accidently selected all and deleted or something. I will see if I can revert it to a few days ago.

NO ONE TOUCH IT! I'm afraid if we keep messing with it we will lose any chance of fixing it.
