I bought some new skirts (getting close enough to my target weight to feel like I can invest in some more stylish options) and when I was hanging them up I realized that they fit the clamp hangers I have without folding in the sides.27

I woke up and had to take hubs to work this morning. There was no point in going back to bed afterwards, so I took my puppy on a walk instead. It felt great.25

45min run tonight, it's been a while.19

Just saw my endocrinologist… instead of 4 times a day, I’m down to once a day insulin…. Exercise and better nutrition made that happen
I have a path to zero insulin with some benchmarks and a schedule in place…doc says… keep this up and you’ll be off insulin soon

I let myself give in to my donut craving during Superbowl. Ate at maintenance for the first time since re-starting my journey this year. Instead of throwing in the towel and continuing to eat junky yesterday, I got back on the wagon. Ate well, took my kids on a small hike and realized this is finally becoming a lifestyle, not just a temporary way of life until I revert back to bad habits.23

I have hated how I've looked for so long and I actually don't hate this picture and my dimples are back. Can't remember the last time I saw those, I know it was when a Bush was in office! Even the fact that I was willing to take a selfie is an NSV in itself. I really needed that motivation, too. Have been becoming complacent recently, so thank you God!

Slowly I’m able to run longer before I go back to power walking.13

A few days ago I bagged up the last of my plus-size tops for the thrift shop.
I no longer worry about finding the closest parking spot: I just park wherever, and walk as far as I need to.14 -
I had about a week and a half of going what I thought was “off the rails.” Apparently I only gained one pound, and now I’m back on track.18

Went shopping yesterday at a really cheap shop. Everything in the store used to be too small for me. Bought 3 pants, 1 size medium, 1 size 11, and 1 size XL. Didn't bother me at all. I know it's not me. It's their sizing. So much more confidence and acceptance of my body.12

We decided to make pancakes for breakfast. Instead of bringing out the jam I remembered that we have both blueberries and raspberries in the freezer and pumped up the volume of my plate without adding more sugar 😃
*compared to jam that is, I know berries are sweet in themselves15 -

Yes, berries are sweet, but they come that way. If you make jam, you take an already sweet berry and add more sugar! If it's jelly rather than jam, you don't even get the fiber because you just use the berry juice. Berries are good plain and simple.7 -
I ran 10km for the first time yesterday21

I walked and jogged a total of 7.87 miles yesterday, without any such plan. And then I ate a lot b/c I was hungry, but still came in under goal. Sweet!18
