~ I had my one night of drinking with my husband on Sat night. We shared two pitchers of Michelob ultra. The scale went up a bit for that reason. I quickly recovered into Sunday and drank a toooon of water to help contend with the post-drinking munchies I still ate low carb throughout the weekend and didnβt go off the rails late that night, as I normally would have. I forced myself to go to bed with a couple of Melatonin gummies. I can never sleep well when I drink too much. - Sun 02/18π₯178.5;+.4lbs

It's been a while since I've been here, but decided to focus on weight loss again and this has always been a helpful tool for me. Lost 30 pounds last spring. then gained a few of those back. Have kept up my daily walks, but need to concentrate on nutrition.

Seriously - have you seen the studies on the SAD (Standard American Diet) chemicals, processed foods, preservativesβ¦. and how it is ruining our health? The very additives are ADDICTIVE. Get the crap out of the house for goodness sake. And if your spouse or partner or room mate isnβt supportive, that is just NOT acceptable. Have a chat. Ask for their support! Heck, I have a supportive husband and no junk in the houseβ¦ and itβs still freaking HARD!
When I started posting on this thread I sometimes considered posting a loss that hadnβt happened but I realized it didnβt REALLY matter to anyone but me and have always posted honestly. I guess this falls under a βcategoryβ my daughter calls βYou do You.β
The SAD is truly sad. And Iβm baffled by people who think theyβre eating healthy but continue to add fake creamer (read the ingredients panel) to their coffee like one of our neighbors who is a retired PA and gobble down heavily processed foods. Having said that, the shakes I am using contain some sucralose which does not please me. I try to avoid all of the -oses. I discovered the βsteviaβ at Starbucks even contains some real sugar! So I started carrying my own pure stevia.
I have told my husband how bad sugar is for him but he continues to eat it. When I had my nails done on Sunday, the tech told me he had quit eating any sugar and he feels so much better. The first days were miserable but he endured. I wish Carl would try.6 -

I'm Crystal! Started OMAD on Feb 5th. I eat my 1 meal at dinner time, anywhere between 5:30-7 pm. Allow myself a dessert an hr later, give or take and that is it until dinner time the next day. (Aside from coffee, which I refuse to give up in the mornings). Still following my macro goals as well. Looking forward to reading everyone's stories and tips/goals! β€οΈ

2/16 183.1: 2 lbs up from a few days ago. I woke up feeling BAD and was sluggish and nauseous all day. Yesterday we ate fast food because I didn't have time to prepare anything and we were in a rush.. Well lesson learned.
2/17 182.5 just having an off couple of days. Only a few hours of sleep last night too. Hoping for more sleep tonight, and a better day tomorrow

02/20 - 151.0 - As expected. The dogs woke me up at 3am on the dot and that's when I weighed as I knew I wouldn't get a chance to do again. I'm very sore in the legs and feeling quite bloated - likely pre-TOM bloat as I'm still waiting on that to resolve. I discovered yesterday at the end of my workday I will have to travel next week for work. I leave Sunday (the last day of this challenge) and return Friday, landing at midnight Friday into Saturday. I have fire department training Saturday that I'll likely miss so I can sleep - I won't be home until nearly 3am Saturday assuming my flights are on time (never are). So this week I will be doing my best to pre-plan as much as I can related to travel (lunch and dinner Sunday through dinner Friday) to stay on track. The hotel and HQ office has a fitness center - will check them both out (hotel on Monday so I can go in and find out if I can even use the HQ's center since I'll likely need a sponsor. I don't have a building badge since I'm virtual and I don't think anyone on my team comes in that early to "sponsor" me so I can use it. Will find out though).

Previous Day's Comments02/16 - I'm still quite sore so I'm happy to have dropped this much. Workout done this morning, have a plan and path forward with a chiropractor (who also has my same injury/metal), and meals planned for next week. I need to make my grocery list but I can't go shopping until Sunday so I have time. Tomorrow I'm planning a longer run. I need to aim for 3.5 or more miles if I have any hope of making it to 6 miles by April with only 1-2 days a week I can reliably run. Feeling good about progress, though!
02/17 - A ton of bloat has dropped off now that I've avoided dairy/lactose. Today's slight increase is likely due to sodium (we had Asian for lunch and that's a normal reaction for me) and TOM is scheduled to arrive this week so there's some bloat involved. I won't be surprised if I'm even higher tomorrow due to bloat and DOMs - today was leg day at the gym. Jello legs anyone? I'm eating 80% paleo and focusing on reducing carbs (today is higher due to the heavy lifts and Friday on my log run, but every other day this week will be lower on carbs). Feeling good and hopeful!

Iβm sure tomorrowβs scale will not be the best but thatβs how it usually works for me. I wish I had the energy to get in some exercise this evening now that Iβm home, but Iβm just too wiped out. Good luck everyone for a successful round.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, itβs taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 134. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

2/17 144.4 β so there it is the weight at the end of the family holiday, luckily not too much of a hike and something to work at. We spent yesterday at National Trust property Errdig, DGC played in the woods, climbed the trees, balanced on the fallen trees, enjoyed the tree swing and after our picnic enjoyed toasting marshmallows before we all went our separate ways to travel home. A wonderful family week; it seemed really quiet when we got home !!

Iβm a 65 year young Oregon gal, working to hit my next goal of 130. The plan this round continues to be a minimum of 10,000 steps π£, 2-3 days a week at the gymποΈββοΈ, logging βοΈ everyday with no snacking after 8:00, and limiting the π·to social events only. And of course guzzling the water π§!!!
