I was set up to show a loss on the scale this morning. I made a bad choice to eat 600 calories of junk right before I went to bed last night. It was a stupid decision to eat candy I don't even like. I listened to the devil on my shoulder. 👿

@stormywxs288 I self-sabotage all the time. It's one of the habits I hope to eventually break. I just wanted you to know you are not alone....

My name is Cindy, 5’3, 174lbs. I have always been aware of my weight and was at my healthiest 2016-2020. 2020-2023 I gained around 40+lbs and have struggled with trying to lose the weight. I started focusing on losing weight in Sept 2023 but have been very lenient about it. I want to spend March focusing more on my goals and make some progress. I am doing a 75 Soft Challenge and also will be using this group for tracking my goals.

    HW:182 | CW: 174.2 | GW: 125

    9/2023: 182 - 10/2023: 174.4- 11/2023: 172.0 - 12/2023: 175.6
    1/2024: 171.6 - 2/2024: 174.4

    March Goals
    ▫️lose 8lbs
▫️strength train + cardio or walk every day
▫️drink 100oz of water every day
    ▫️read every day
    ▫️drink during social events only

3/4 — 175.4lbs: I had an indulgent weekend since we were out of town, but I expect to be back to my “regular” weight in the next couple days
3/5 — 173.8: I’m surprised I dropped down so quickly but not complaining. Did a strength workout but also went to a cafe with a friend and might’ve overindulged. We will see how I wake up tomorrow.
3/6 — 171.6: Woke up a few lbs lighter and very excited about it but tomorrow I go to Disneyland so I know it’ll bring my weight back up by Friday. Still happy with the progress I’ve made this week.

    Hello I'm Darlene.
March 5: 155.6 😁 📝 🥗 🧘‍♀️ 🫀💦 I gave myself a smile for the weight loss, but it was a sad day. A colleague from my old work place passed away. Heart attack at 50; he was one of those that you just had to love. Quirky, a wonderful sense of humor, treated everyone with respect, hardworking, and was so appreciative of anything you did for him. He will be missed on this earth by all who knew him. With that in mind:

"Dont focus on what's wrong. Things may not be perfect, but be grateful for the opportunity to experience each day." Joel Osteen

@iLive2Walk I'm so sorry for the loss of your former colleague. Much too young and gone too soon. Prayers to his family.

    Goal: 173.0 (Four lb Loss)
    Actual Ending Weight: xxxxx
    Total Lost/Gained this month: xxxxx

03/05-177.4-(Trend Weight 178.9)- I have my family doctor appointment later this afternoon located locally in the next town over. I think he’ll be pleased with my weight loss since I last saw him. There was another small drop on the scale today. I am beginning to see more loose skin so I would prefer to lose it slow but steady at my age. My secret desire, however, is to hit 169 point anything by my birthday May 10th. I have not been losing at a rate that would get me there so it is a dream for sure. Oh but what a dream!

03/06-177.8-(Trend Weight 178.8)- Oops. I got into the Christmas chocolate in the back of the garage freezer last night after having spent the afternoon at my doctor appointment. Appointment went well. My thyroid medication was permanently reduced because of my weight loss. Yay! So later last night, I was thinking it was “safe and okay” to eat chocolate since my doctor appointment was over and there would be no accountability. I forgot about my accountability on MFP. Thank goodness you guys are here. Today will be a mindful day of obedience. We are inching closer and closer to spring and summer (and wearing shorts). See you next round as I try to keep that in mind. In the summer I cannot easily hide behind layers of clothing!

I'm so excited to be back for March- hello to everyone! 😊 I'm Kat, 32, 5'1". I have 5 cats and live in the country. I think March will be cold and windy here, but I'm happy to be moving towards warmer days.
Start Weight: 122.6 | Feb. Loss: 5.4lbs | Goal Weight: 100-110 (I'll know when I get closer and may switch to measurements)
    ☘️
    3/01: 117.0
    3/02: 117.2
    3/03: 116.8
    3/04: 117.2
3/05: 116.6 I’ve been doing pretty good with calories, but I’ve been too tired to exercise at all and I want to try to get back to strength workouts. Maybe a bit of protein powder in my overnight oats will help with my energy.
3/06: 117.0 Yesterday was a 1200 cal day so I’m starting to panic a little bit because I know you shouldn’t go lower than that and I gained instead of losing! Maybe it’s just salt/water retention again, but my anxiety is high right now!
