Iโ€™m starting off this week with a day of travel to the Dentist about nearly 200 miles round trip. Not exactly a good way to start a new week, but hopefully Iโ€™ll be able to make some progress as the week goes on. My ice cream finally showed up on the scale today in spite of my objections. Phooey!

    My name is Cindy, 5โ€™3, 174lbs. I have always been aware of my weight and was at my healthiest 2016-2020. 2020-2023 I gained around 40+lbs and have struggled with trying to lose the weight. I started focusing on losing weight in Sept 2023 but have been very lenient about it. I want to spend March focusing more on my goals and make some progress. I am doing a 75 Soft Challenge and also will be using this group for tracking my goals.

    3/4 โ€” 175.4lbs: I had an indulgent weekend since we were out of town, but I expect to be back to my โ€œregularโ€ weight in the next couple days
    3/5 โ€” 173.8lbs: Iโ€™m surprised I dropped down so quickly but not complaining. Did a strength workout but also went to a cafe with a friend and mightโ€™ve overindulged. We will see how I wake up tomorrow.
    3/6 โ€” 171.6lbs: Woke up a few lbs lighter and very excited about it but tomorrow I go to Disneyland so I know itโ€™ll bring my weight back up by Friday. Still happy with the progress Iโ€™ve made this week.
    3/7 โ€” 172lbs: Disney day
    3/8 โ€” 174.8lbs: as expected
    3/9 โ€” 174lbs: again, as expected
    3/10 โ€” no weigh in: decided not to weigh myself today because it was a bad eating weekend. Tomorrow I will and I know itโ€™s gonna be tough to deal with it. Weekends are my worst days and always make me fall back.
    3/11 โ€” 176.8: hoping Iโ€™ll be back to โ€œnormalโ€ in the next day or so. going to really try and make this week a good one, including the weekend. already had a morning walk and planning to do a workout this evening.

    Good morning participants. Another week under the belt. I could probably write few pages about the frustration of waiting for the scale to move. Iโ€™ve been 100% on plan with no cheating for 52 days. This is the first time Iโ€™ve ever done anything like this. This morning, I am almost at my first goal, which was to be under 200 (by my 61st birthday,3/26) for the first time in 40 years. Thanks for this group.

    Hi All,

    This is my 7th month with this group! I'm 5'2" and I've just hit my target weight of around 124 lbs. One of my goals at this point is to lose maybe 2 more pounds or so and figure out what my maintenance weight range should be. Another goal is to start running again.

    Original starting weight: 160 lbs
    Goal for March: 122.0 lbs ?

    March 1: DNW. I'm sick! I feel terrible. I am not going to weigh or log until I feel better.
    March 2: 122.6 โ˜˜๏ธ I logged. I was very sick yesterday and the previous day, and didn't eat very much. Today I am feeling a little bit better.
    March 3: 121.8 โ˜˜๏ธ I logged. Well I think my weight loss is because of my sickness, and I would like to stop losing at this point. I logged yesterday and my calorie intake was a little under goal but not super low. I'm going to increase my calories a bit. I am getting better but still sick. I am looking forward to getting better and getting back to routine, getting to my March goal of exercising, and also eating more than just chicken noodle soup and juice!

Weekdays are back to meal-prepped meals so at least that part is easy through Thursday. I will try try try to conjure up some motivation to do a good workout when I get home. ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธ

    I have a chronic back injury limiting how I exercise and am recovering from a sprained ankle. So I have to be creative with exercise.
    My main problem is pain and emotional eating, because food fixes everything (if only)
    I have made this journey many times in my life, and hope to someday make it a permanent lifestyle change. My longest run maintaining a healthy weight was 9 yrs and then my world fell apart in 2015 leading to my highest weight of 203, and I have yo yo'd the same 30-50 lbs over and over again since then.
    Im tried of feeling sick and tired, my health is now being effected so it's time for a serious change.
    I know what I have to do, I just need to do it and stick to it!!!!
