    • This is what I wrote out at the beginning of Round 250:
      ~ My plan for round 250 is to eliminate drinking alcohol on a nightly basis.
      Didn’t stick to this one for this last round and it shows! Will try again for round 254. **NOTE** Drinking also makes me get hot in my sleep so not only does it add empty calories but it causes me to eat extra and sleep less.

~ I was a bit out of sorts this week with hubby being gone and Tom compounded the situation. I lacked good sleep and worked overtime so I really didn’t have time to read the posts here (which usually lifts me up and motivates me)

~ Finished the last 3 days of round 252 strong! No “buts”. It’s worthy to note that I usually add a “But, I couldn’t…” or “But I didn’t hit my mini-goal…” 
~ So here’s to NO BUTS this round!! Lol

      ~ Finished the last day of round 251 strong but I caved a bit at the end of the day when my husband was craving New York style pizza. I had 2 large cheese slices, Bruschetta Napolitana and 3 butter laden garlic knots.. oh and one of my favorite things in this world: A cannoli! Ugh ! I’m feeling the discomfort as we speak
      ~ I was too nervous to look and see what the carb/calorie count actually was..

      ~ I’m really proud of myself for achieving the mini-goal I set of weighing less than 177 lbs.
      ~ I broke through a bunch of mental blocks and had a bunch of “a-HAA!!” moments this round. I started competing on Stride kick again

      ~ I remembered that I never felt better than when I was losing weight on the original Keto plan so I went back to basics. This realization prompted me to stop using all substances as a crutch. So I’m feeling very empowered and excited for this next round!

Since I live in the boonies with no real stores it’s a chore to shop and choose every little detail for a primary bedroom with ensuite bath and new walk-in-closet (instead of double closets). Trying to find the best prices too, of course, and hopefully a lot of it will be free shipping. I really need to fit in my exercise which I have not been doing. This whole thing is just a recipe for disaster. I must find time for me and my goals! I usually don’t weigh on Fridays due to my school schedule with the grandson, but I was able to fit it in today at a reasonable hour (10:10 am). I’m definitely not going to hit my goal of “lose ANYTHING” this round since tomorrow is the final weigh-in. Disappointing but eye-opening!

    03/16 -181.2- (Trend weight180.4) That’s a 3.4 lb gain this round. This is NOT how it’s supposed to work! Ah well, off to the next round. It’s got to be better than this one!

    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    3/10 - 243.6 (Hubby and I got a Peloton ride in and did 10 minutes of upper body strength yesterday. Felt good to get back to it as we'd taken a break from most things for almost a month.)
    3/11 - 243.2 (Work from home day today. Feeing the urge to snack. I will ride the Peloton here shortly.)
    3/12 - 243.6 (Rare morning that I forgot to weigh, by the time I did I already had my bra on, but no biggie. I did have a big pasta dinner last night and some chips. I also worked out for the third day in a row. Feeling good but need to be a bit more disciplined with the food. I'm tracking until dinner and then stopping and that's not going to work.)
    3/13 - 243 (Not much to say today. Day was fairly on track but I ate the large sub at night instead of the medium one. Had a dentist appointment.)
    3/14 - 243.4 (I have soccer tonight and I just might ride the Peloton too. We shall see!)
    3/15 - 243.8 (TGIF. Really looking forward to a mostly relaxing weekend ahead. Hope to fit in a lot of exercise.. the weather is beautiful.)
    3/16 - 242 (OK, a good spot to end this round. Weather is beautiful here. Lucky us!)
