- This is what I wrote out at the beginning of Round 250:
~ My plan for round 250 is to eliminate drinking alcohol on a nightly basis. color=darkred] Didnโt stick to this one for this last round and it shows! Will try again for round 254. **NOTE** Drinking also makes me get hot in my sleep so not only does it add empty calories but it causes me to eat extra and sleep less. [/color]

I had 2 large cheese slices, Bruschetta Napolitana and 3 butter laden garlic knots.. oh and one of my favorite things in this world: A cannoli! Ugh ! Iโm feeling the discomfort as we speak

~ Iโm really proud of myself for achieving the mini-goal I set of weighing less than 177 lbs.
~ I broke through a bunch of mental blocks and had a bunch of โa-HAA!!โ moments this round. I started competing on Stride kick again (PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN ME)
~ I remembered that I never felt better than when I was losing weight on the original Keto plan so I went back to basics. This realization prompted me to stop using all substances as a crutch. So Iโm feeling very empowered and excited for this next round!

3/17 185.0 Worked in the yard on a glorious spring day and changed out winter to spring decor in the house. Still not feeling 100% but getting better. Over 9K steps in spite of no formal exercise. Maybe Iโll feel like a long walk today.

๐ท 65 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 254 (my 184th). Thank you @itladyee for keeping this going, so grateful for you stepping in in @Quiltingjaine & MIA!
Goals for this round; to lose! Scale still being erratic, obviously still reflects rate of consistency (or not!) with walking mileage as well as food. Must concentrate on consistency, really want to get back. And to break the โalways looking for something to put in my mouthโ syndrome!
Good luck everyone for a successful round.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, itโs taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 134. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

3/16 DNW โ (trend 142.2), yesterday we travelled down to Royal Chatham Historic Docks; traffic, roadworks and a broken down lorry practically closing the M1 meant that it took the best part of the day to get down there. Managed to get 5.42 miles walking when we got there.

3/17- 188.2 That is definitely dehydration!!! One, Two, THREE manhattans consumed yesterday evening. Ooofdah. Iโm moving slow this morning but it was delicious and so much fun!
Alcohol usually causes a drop the next day and then a huge uptick the second day which usually takes 3-5 days to get back to where I started.7 -

About Me, WOE & Health Journey
****************************F65, 5โ6โ married, MawMaw Proud. Clean Ketovore ๐ฅฉ. Track macros, kcals, all exercise and NSVs. HW 172lbs in 2010.
WOE since 7/2023: Whole Foods. No processed foods. Animal-based proteins. EGGS, Beef, pork, chicken, seafood, venison and grass-fed whey protein. I count macros & kcals - always will. (Since portion control is my issue). Keto is high-fat but Iโm now leaning lower healthy fats with leaner proteins. I had paralyzing IBS for 20 years. My mother was diagnosed with celiacโs disease in her 50โs. Following her lead, I eliminated wheat, oat, barley, and rye several years agoโฆ. Dairy? Hard cheese, HWC and butter - an occasional Greek yogurt. Vegetables destroy my digestive systemโฆ I love vegetables, but when I splurge, I pay for it for a few daysโฆ I do enjoy berries, lemons, limes. Avocados are my weakness. Enjoy a piece of dark chocolate on occasion. Generally, I eat btw noon and 6 pm. (IF18/6). Alcohol? Used to be a social drinker and would enjoy a good martini/scotch or Paloma at home while cooking dinner. NO MORE. Root of many evils. Primarily, the destruction of will power and the enemy of optimal choices. Iโd rather journey toward my best-self. I havenโt given up alcohol completely, but I enjoy it sparingly on special occasions. This is me. I finally feel terrific.
History:
I have ALWAYS been ON a โdietโ since at least high school. I have never been comfortable with my body - NEVER EVER- no matter my weight.
Pre- college: 125-130lbs
College- up to 160lbs one yearโฆ graduated @130lbs.
Many different diets each decade!
1990 (Age 32) - Avg.135/140 lbs (my son was born 1988)
2000 (Age 42) -Avg 145 -160
2010 (Age 52) - HW 172 lbs in 2010. 130lbs by end of 2014.
2020 (Age 62) 130-135lbs
7/2023 (Age 64) 145lbs
1/2024 (Age 65) 130lbs
UGW = 129-130lbs

Aug 14, 2014 @ 157lbs (down 15 from heaviest of 172lbs in 2010), I decided to take serious control of my health. I lost 30lbs by 11/15/2014. Weight @ 128-132lbs through the end of 2020. Six years!
Another ๐ข Roller Coaster Beginsโฆ.
2020 through 2021, I fluctuated 132-140 lbs. Always self-conscious.
8/1/ 2022 crept up to 142lbs.
Dropped to 128lbs again by 10/30 - held 130lbs till 2/1/23.
2023 Back โฌ๏ธ 145lbs by July 15! 15lbs BOOM! Enjoyed eating & margaritas way too much. My nutrition has always been somewhat healthy BUT portion control is/was THE issue. Started tracking again 7/15/23. Joined โJust give me 10 daysโ R231 in beginning of 8/2023. Here we are @ 130ish determined toโฆ. STOP the ๐ข & be in the

The yo-yo is exhausting & unhealthy. Takes up way too much brain space.
I learned MY choices created an emotional ๐ข roller coaster with yo-yo weight and fitness. My forever goal is to be healthy & fit & maintain approx. 130lbs & IN SHAPE - to enjoy my โSeniorโ years to my fullest.
While active with ๐ถโโ๏ธ& ๐พ itโs clear a ST ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ๐คธ๐ผroutine was absent. Strength & balance are ๐ฏmost important now. Time to incorporate ST ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ ๐โโ๏ธ๐คธ๐ผas my TRUE focus. I want healthy/fit choices to be my first nature.

Jan/Feb: Ticked up to a steady 132ish. Happier@129-130.
