I started my journey in 2018 July 1st weighing 202.2. One year later I reached my goal weight of 142. Very exciting times. Unfortunately I ended up with health concerns and weight gain. now ready to get back to goal.

February the wt really came off. I lost about 7lbs woot woot. Walking daily is a huge part of my wt loss process. I average about 9000 steps a day, not bad for an old dog. I always eat low carb no sugar but not quite keto. I may try keto this month we shall see. I really hope to say good bye to the fifties forever this month. Have a great month everyone.

Total loss for March: Essentially unchanged again this week. Still up for the month. I am still in maintenance, and at a pretty steady average weight for that matter. I'm near the top of my maintenance range though. I am down 6.6 pounds for the year.

Kind of holding steady with little time for meal planning or exercise. Trying to maintain while juggling a lot of hectic schedules rights now. This weekend I picked up fresh fish and groceries to meal plan for a few days which helps.
Would love to be down 1 - 1.5 lbs. by 3/31 and go into April ready to kick it up a notch.

03/10-178.8-(Trend Weight: 178.9)- Itβs been a rough week food-wise. It started off okay as you can see by my trend weight, but these last couple of days have been filled with restaurants or special out-of-the-ordinary days on my schedule. Iβve got to get my routine jump started again. Tomorrow is another travel day but I hope that starting on Tuesday things can level out. Have a great week everyone!
03/17-180.4-(Trend Weight: 180.4)- Itβs been a rough week. My meals have been on target but Iβve found myself very hungry by night. I think I began to eat all my meals too early leaving me with too many hours in the evening. I also found that I was logging my food AFTER I ate it, instead of pre-logging and sticking to the planned snacks. Iβll change it back up this week! Iβve had virtually no exercise as this renovation is keeping me so busy and the guys seem to need me every minute. By the time they leave every evening Iβm exhausted. Iβve got to figure this out even if it seems impossible right now. I know one thing for sure, the gains must stop and the progress must resume. My health really declines with too much weight as a diabetic and a heart patient. Health should always come first.
03/24-182.6-(Trend Weight: 180.5)-Itβs been a horrible month filled with events, travel, special occasions and many many times of weakness. I would certainly like to turn this around by the end of March so I am AT LEAST back into the 170βs. And even with that, Iβm so tired of just treading water. Nobody can change it but me. Thankfully every day is a new day and a new opportunity. Will I walk around it like a cold mud puddle or will I embrace it like a warm hug? I donβt know about you, but I like warm hugs way better than cold mud puddles.

@Wean_over_that_now Thank you for this. It is a good idea for a lot of reasons to change things up. I am hoping with the new season I can do just that!
@AllyNorth Ever think of changing up your routine? Eat at different times, workout at different times, do different workouts you haven't done before? Body gets use to repetition and stops burning as it use to because of it. Give it a change overall and it should give it a motivational boost. Same as doing everyday routines, then all of a sudden you take an unexpected vacation, even if for a weekend and you feel rejuvenated. Body reacts the same way your mind does. Give it a change, it should go the trick

Ultimate Weight Loss Goal: It's hard to say. I used to be stricter but over the years that has changed when I realized just how hard it is to lose weight and then maintain it. The short-term goal is to get back to 300/285 lbs. The long-term goal is to get down to somewhere between 260 and 220 lbs.
