Hi I’m Debbie
61 year old female 5’6” from Missouri
SW RND 255. 209.6
Goal 207
Day, Weight, Comment
3/27
3/28 209.6. I have taken over a year off from this group. It was a tough year, my DH passed 3/9/23, I had a total knee replacement, my special needs daughter had a kidney stone and then a blood clot and several other medical issues for various family members. The house needed work from hail damage and several other problems. Needless to say I was not very focused on me or my health. Trying to figure out this new me and get healthier one day at a time.
3/29 206.6 Well that's a great loss but I have to do my 10 year colonoscopy today. Liquid diet all day yesterday and the prep last night. Maybe this will be the beginning of something positive.
3/30 210 Must have been all that salt water prep.
3/31 210.4 We celebrated Easter and obviously overate.
4/1 210 Well it is down but I won't be too happy with that. I'm still way over where I have been. It's okay though and I'm working on it.
4/2 209.6 I’ll take that and be quite happy. Focused on losing as much as I can by July 15, I’m having my left knee replaced. On July 19 of last year I had the right knee replaced. A little bit at a time will get me there.
4/3 208.8 I’m very pleased with this loss and I hope to keep it up. Discipline, discipline, discipline!! Watching closely what I put in my mouth.

April 3rd: Uuuuggggghhhh .... of course! as soon as I increased my step goal, I've failed to meet it two days in a row ~ I did however get more time in the pool with an aquatic class and additional 20 laps, 30 minutes on the treadmill at slight incline, 5 minutes tripping over my feet jumping rope, lol and 5 minutes of kettle bell and battle rope exercises @ the gym.
STILL TO Do: Adjust dietary goals and menu planning/shop to include lower carb/keto choices after reading journal papers on brain and body metabolic benefits. Can't believe will be 58 in a few weeks and plan on looking/feeling my best! 🥳🥳🥳Reversing the clock baby!

April 2nd: Back in the pool after 5 days, I could really feel the difference! Weighing before and after, ironically dropped more than 2 pounds of what must have been water weight, lol
April 1st: Knew the extra carbs and alcohol would result in a bump today but okay about it as I exercised all weekend to offset. Would have been much worse without working out. Onwards!
March 31st: Away from home but have exercise bands and plan to use them!! Definitely allowing myself a few indulgences today and tomorrow, but hoping staying within BMR keeps any gains to 1-2lbs. Not trying to leave onederland!!! Have a great weekend all!
March 30th: A lot on my mind with no plans other than some much needed Good Friday fasting and reflection today. Happy Easter to those who celebrate! Have a blessed weekend filled with happiness and love.
March 28th: DNW ~ nothing to say
March 27th: was hoping for another drop, but happier there's no gain! @ lowest weight since 2018 and celebrating by upping the ante ~ increasing strength workouts and raising my minimum step count from 9 to 10K. Hoping to lose 2-3lbs and another 1-2 inches.8 -

3/27 181.8 Looking forward to this round. Hoping everyone meets their goals!
3/28 182.4 Lots of gardening and a small walk around the lake.
3/29 182.6 Ate at a Greek restaurant last night and it was delicious. I made really good choices compared to what we usually get there, but I had eaten so little all day that I had a small binge in the afternoon of things I haven’t eaten in a while. Taking granddaughter on a picnic today as she’s off of school for Good Friday. Gotta be careful today.
3/30 182.6 Ate healthy foods at our picnic in the mountains. Did NOT eat a fried pie which is something we always get up there, although hubby bought SIX. I made him hide them when we got home. Hiked a little and share my love of the mountains with DGD. It was a good day!
3/31 181.8 Happy Easter, everyone!
4/1 181.4 moving in the right direction again.
4/2 181.2 Traveled today, so had to be purposeful to get in enough exercise after the trip was over. Food was good though, which hasn’t always been true with road trips for me.
4/3 182.2 My body is playing tricks on me. My diet has been great and steps have been good, too. I’ve been doing better with water, although still not where I need to be. Maybe tomorrow the scales will show the effort I’ve been putting into this. I did get on the rowing machine tonight for the first time in forever—only 10 minutes, but it’s a start.

🎷 65 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 255 (my 185th). So grateful for all the support from you guys in this group
Goals for this round; to lose! To be consistent and lose something.
Good luck everyone for a successful round.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 134. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

I have a long list of things I need to accomplish today. A pile of little details, emails, organizing and scanning I’ve been putting off, on top of routine house chores.
It’s a miserable rain and slush filled day, I’m psyching myself up to get things done. I need to clear my desk and tidy my house, get rid of the mental clutter of the constant to-do list that loops in my head!9 -

DW Birthday today. I know my assignment. 😊 We will be married 45 years in August, but I have been celebrating her birthday for about 50, when we were both kids. Some form of Birthday lunch out, after group exercise. Her choice.
3/28: 224.6
3/29: 225.8
3/30: 225.2
/not logging well; some minimal exercise; dehydrated/
…and the scale shows it.
Sorry for not checking in, I have been preoccupied. DW birthday, Helped in kitchen for Upper Room service at church, entertained guests at home last night, meetings, blah blah blah. All excuses. 😊
Just caught up with your posts.
3/31: 225.6
/logged; exercised (mowed grass and yard work); 90 oz water/
All in all yesterday I did well except for one detail. DiGiornos rising crust frozen pizza for supper. We were both tired and wanted something easy as we watched UConn TROUNCE Illinois. (I was rooting for Illinois) Kiddos over today for Easter Dinner after church. Four generations involved. Double smoked spiral sliced ham on the menu. It involves application of maple syrup followed by spiced rub between each slice before going on the smoker. Meat candy essentially. Don’t expect to see a drop tomorrow.
4/1: 225.8
/nope; nope; 66 oz water/
Considering the feast I had yesterday, this is not bad. Hoping to cleanse my habits this week.
Have I ever mentioned my real name is Elon Musk?
4/2: 224.6
/logged; group exercise; 78 oz water/
I managed to keep unhealthy habits to a dull roar yesterday.
April Fool yesterday, I am not really Elon Musk.
4/3: 223.6
/logged; exercised; 66 oz water/
I like this two-day trend. I even accomplished this with a bit of salty and sweet cheating. Just think of the possibilities without cheating!
Starting to think about the possibilities if I would take this more seriously. Especially the exercise part…. But, my problem is my personality type. For example, in my mind, if I have designed it… it’s done. In fact, I am a tested and confirmed 5 on the Enneagram scale. DW will attest. It is good that she knows. Read all about me here…. Ha! https://www.enneagraminstitute.com/type-5/
I wish I were just the good parts of this description. 😊 The bottom line is, it’s good to know about yourself, so I recommend finding your number.
DW is a “1” by the way.

3/27 - 123.8 - ugh was disappointed
3/28 - 122.8
3/29 - 122
3/30 - 122 - pretty impossible to get to 120 by 4/01 so maybe that would just be the realistic goal for this round.
3/31 - 122.2 - and I had McDonald's for lunch because someone at my work bought it 🫤
4/01 - 121.2! - well, that is surprising.. just hoping it continues!
4/02 - DNW - had snacked really late and didn't want to see. I usually only eat once (most times in the morning) and then also had some candy at work... Ugh.
4/03 - 121.4 - I used to be so upset when the scale was over 125 and now I'm just mad I can't seem to get to 120... 🫤
4/04 - 120.4 🖤 - one of my roommates said "you've lost weight haven't you?? You look good!" Since the beginning of March I've now lost about 7-8 lbs

Back again. This is my 2nd challenge here. 1st one I managed to break even so hopefully I'll do better this time. I leave for vacation in 2 weeks and I'd really like to be under 200. Haven't done that since 2009. 5'5" - 66 yr old Granny. Highest weight 256.

I'm Crystal! I am aiming for 1200 calories/day, less than 90 carbs and low sugar. Recently added more protein to my diet and walking on most days.

RND 2553/27 173.1 Good start to the round 🙂. Stayed on track with my goals and ate mostly healthy. One thing that I noticed I need to work on is I'm taking in (mainly drinking) too many artificial sugars. Need to cut back on those. Other than that for the most part I am proud of myself for the healthy habits I have stuck with.4/2 176.1 Stayed on track yesterday with my goals. The extra water I drank decided to come out overnight last night as I made many trips to the bathroom to pee. Lol. Hoping I can lose these last few pounds by the end of the round that I gained from the weekend.
3/28 173.9 Little gain today and I can tell in my stomach area, just in the way I feel. I was super hungry yesterday for dinner which doesn't happen that often anymore, but I definitely ate too much salt and had a brownie and a half 😅. No complaints though, as it was expected and I was over on calories. Also, not much sleep last night. Making sure to drink extra water today.

4/1 DNW I wish it wasn't so much harder to stick to the plan when traveling. Especially when visiting family. I did not want to weigh this morning because I didn't follow through with any of my goals over the weekend (and there was alcohol involved). I knew I was going to be discouraged if I weighed. Back on track today. Will try and catch up on all of your posts I missed ❤️.
** Edited to add my weight due to another challenge I started- 178.1 (after a glass of water and coffee)
4/3 174.8 Glad the extra weight from the weekend is coming off. Good day yesterday except I was offered a couple of alcoholic beverages at a friend's house. Feeling really thirsty this morning.
4/4 174.8 Movies yesterday and popcorn. Fun times though. Still met my goals!

It's been a while since I've been here, but decided to focus on weight loss again and this has always been a helpful tool for me. Lost 30 pounds last spring. then gained a few of those back. Have kept up my daily walks, but need to concentrate on nutrition. Trying to get in the 60's by my son's wedding at the end of April..

Hi, I'm Charissa, back for another round. I will keep coming back and I will get this thing right, sooner or later. Hopefully sooner!
Thank you, QuiltingJaine, for keeping us focused in 2024!
@musicsax for getting us ready for round 255!
So here we go 2024... my motto -
🏋🏾♀️ Don't think, just do it!!
Eat well 🥗to Live Well 🚢✈️🧳
Note to Self: Alcohol kills weight loss as the focus is burning alcohol calories and not fat calories!
Goals this round:
- Tracking/Under Calorie Budget 🍎
- Macros - hit Protein ✅
- Water - 64oz minimum > trying hard for 80💧
- Closing my rings M-F🚶🏽
Same goals... just need 100% execution! I totally tanked the last round and compare to last year...it must be this time of year. I was starting to get excited because the weather was nicer and I could get outside....then it got cold again and snowed!
I need to revisit and implement some basics that I kick to the curb last round. It's not like I don't know what to do...just need to do it

3/27 ~ 219.0
3/28 ~ 219.2 Something happened Tue night that felt like food poisoning...but I didn't have anything to eat that was suspect, but I felt horrible. Stayed home yesterday, no work out just rested. Didn't get my water in either. Working from home today, still resting (no workout) but will get at least 64 ounces of water in and get some planning done for the rest of the round.
3/29 218.4 Continued to take it easy yesterday. Today, almost back to normal.
3/30 ~ 218.4
3/31 ~ 218.4 Worked out Friday and Saturday. Was going to make up one of the days I missed today but decided to enjoy the day. Might go for a walk later if it's not raining. Planned an entire month of meals so I'm ready for April!

Just want to report my 🎾 team won 🏆 our division yesterday and we are headed to state at the end of April. It’s just plain fun. I was EXHAUSTED after the match. As captain, it’s impossible to not be emotionally invested. Last night I was so hungry. Ate a burger with bacon & cheese. No bun. Scale approved this morn but will probably show up tomorrow. Crazy. Will drink tons of 💦 today. Sunrise walk now, then catch up with life today. Yes, will 🙆♀️🤸🏼📿🏋️♀️. Will do it all!
NSV: Since I went out of my regular eating patterns yesterday, I’ll follow up with plenty of water today. It’s a helpful habit.
3/28 Yesterday I got sidetracked - it was as if I had a worm in my brain devouring every rational thought. I had planned all of my workouts -and the moment I started thinking about my tennis team going to state, I didn’t stop thinking about it for 14 hours… THAT is an unhelpful habit!
Today- Headed out the door for my morning walk then a full day, preparing to head out of town before daybreak tomorrow!
3/29 ⚖️ forgot to weigh this morn. All ✅ except 🏋️♀️ yesterday. Too distracted again…. On the road @3:30am. Packed resistance bands and jump rope 📿… and HM. Will check in tomorrow just to read entries. ☦️
3/30 DNW zero movement except for stretching each time we stopped. 15 hours in the car -three hrs over due to accidents. Glad we are here safe. ✅ food & 💦! Today:BEACH WALK with DH side of family. Will be fun.
@ judefit congrats on your milestone! Keep it up!
3/31 DNW Happy Easter!
Yesterday: 16k steps. Beach time. Ate according to plan… Just a little more than usual - no desserts & lots of protein. Lots of 💦. Walked 3.5 miles this morning before everyone got up… We are headed to a Southern Lawn party later today … Will enjoy the food staying away from carbs & desert. Staying away from carbs and dessert is NBD anymore… If I see something, I absolutely must taste I will, but not planning on it …. Gorgeous day ahead of us. Sending ❤️ and hope.
4/1 DNW I tasted, tasted, tasted @ the lawn party. Will post a pic. Did not “over-eat” per se but ate more and differently than the healthy me. My meals are usually perfunctory. Not yesterday. Lamb and beef tenderloin. Brie. Brussel sprouts. I ate a few scrumptious bites of the most delicious scratch carrot cake and a few nibbles of dark chocolate/almonds. One piece of BREAD! Will definitely feel the difference today/tomorrow. Might be sick. Enough tasting for a good long while. Today: Charleston WTA tennis tournament & lots of walking & 💦.
4/2 DNW yesterday: tournament food is yucky. Cobb salad, chicken wrap and a burger patty. I’m a puff ball today. Will 💦💦💦. Tournament was a blast tho… walking streets of Charleston today. TBH: I want a few days of rest. Too much stimulation for this old bird. I prefer a quiet schedule.
4/3 DNW-drive home! @ Waffle House right now (black coffee, bacon/eggs) driving home. Yesterday: walked 10 miles in Charleston & beach. Great day. My healthy me disappeared last night. Chicken wings & queso. one Margarita. Moderation yes, but not exactly healthy. Planning 💦💦💦 today. I wont weigh tomorrow…. Wanting a day to flush! Today: Hopefully we make it home in 12 hours… And get to see our dogs tonight!
4/4 Made it home in 12 hrs! Total discombobulation this morn after our trip. Today: will settle in to real life. 💦🚶♀️🏋️♀️🤸🏼. Hoping to not finish R255 over 130 but I probably will. Not so much by WHAT I ate, but WHEN - as well as sleep patterns. I think it’ll take me two or three days to get back in the groove/adjust to my regular daily patterns.
NSV: My challenge while on vacay staying with family was that there was no regularity to schedule or food… I went with the flow without stressing out over not being able to stay on plan… . Big win for me.
Let’s finish 💪🏻TODAY!

F65, 5’6” married, MawMaw Proud. Clean Ketovore 🥩. Track macros, kcals, all exercise and NSVs. HW 172lbs in 2010.
WOE since 7/2023: Whole Foods. No processed foods. Animal-based proteins. EGGS, Beef, pork, chicken, seafood, venison and grass-fed whey protein. I count macros & kcals - always will. (Since portion control is my issue). Keto is high-fat but I’m now leaning lower healthy fats with leaner proteins. I had paralyzing IBS for 20 years. My mother was diagnosed with celiac’s disease in her 50’s. Following her lead, I eliminated wheat, oat, barley, and rye several years ago…. Dairy? Hard cheese, HWC and butter - an occasional Greek yogurt. Vegetables destroy my digestive system… I love vegetables, but when I splurge, I pay for it for a few days… I do enjoy berries, lemons, limes. Avocados are my weakness. Enjoy a piece of dark chocolate on occasion. Generally, I eat btw noon and 6 pm. (IF18/6). Alcohol? Used to be a social drinker and would enjoy a good martini/scotch or Paloma at home while cooking dinner. NO MORE. Root of many evils. Primarily, the destruction of will power and the enemy of optimal choices. I’d rather journey toward my best-self. I haven’t given up alcohol completely, but I enjoy it sparingly on special occasions. This is me. I finally feel terrific.

~ Still going down! Woohoo; Day 3 - No alcohol✅
~ **Update on Jim(hubby): he made an appointment with the gastroenterologist for tomorrow. As I previously mentioned, yesterday he woke up feeling better but halfway thru the day he came home with the runs (sorry for the graphics but I feel when I share with friends I start to get advice or tips from those that might have experienced something similar). He did end the night on a good note but didn’t eat much.
I have a feeling he has an ulcer as he was throwing up our dinner two weeks prior the night he came home from Cancun. That lasted about two days but we brushed it off as food poisoning. We went through this with our daughter last year, 17 at the time, although her symptoms were slightly different. By the time we caught hers she was losing blood and her hemoglobin levels were at a 3. Hers was disguised by INTENSE back pain and she just wasn’t feeling right.. lethargic and because she always had a lack of appetite we never thought that was the issue. The pediatrician kept sending us home with ibuprofen but the last time she went she noticed that the beds of her eyes were pale. So finally they did bloodwork and then called us on the 4th of July to rush us to the ER. Due to the severity of the ulcer doctors predicted things were gradually getting worse for a long while. Anyway, as she and I measured her situation next to her dads, we recalled there was some nausea mixed in there and she would dry heave towards the end of that time line. (no runs or extreme throwing up though).
We will find out more tomorrow, hopefully this will not lead to another trip to the ER and I pray it is just a bug he’s getting over!

~ I hurt my knee ‘somewheres’ (been watching a lot of New Jersey housewives so my grammar might reflect that; might even go make a sang-wich later so I can get an eyeroll from hubby when I make my sang-wich 😂) Anyway, I’ve been circulating hot and cold compress over the last two days so been lacking in the steps arena.
~ Speaking of hubby, he has been throwing up since Sunday. We thought food poison originally but it’s lasted too long. Finally he woke up today feeling better. No other symptoms just stomach nauseous and throwing up any time he ate. Strange. But I’m glad it’s over now! **Update: he woke up this morning bragging he lost 7 lbs lol!
~ Hope all ‘yous’ been ‘doin-alrigh’! 😀

~ Everything goes down hill(diet-wise) when my uncle and his wife come over and go hot-tubbing. In my mind they are professional drinkers and socializers and just all around a fun couple. But that does equal disaster for me when it comes to my healthy living plans. Thinking about my plans for Easter today and trying not to eat right now as I’m having post-drinking cravings. <<gulping down 40 oz water💦>> that’s better!!
~ My grandmother went into the ER night before last for what we now know as a partial bowel blockage. Praying for her and hope that she’ll be released in time for Easter. She’s the most beautiful soul I have ever known. And her family will truly miss her if she’s not here on one of her most favorite Christian holidays. - Sat 03/30🛑173.6;-0bs

~ Well I almost made it through my 24-hr fast .. until about 10 pm 🫤 oh well. It was difficult but an espresso shot and Polar orange-vanilla seltzer waters helped a lot! Thank you ALL who gave tips, that really helped me!! - Thu 03/28🛑175.6;+.2lbs
~ I’m calling yesterday a binge-recovery-day and I’m still struggling internally with the why’s and the how’s of Tuesday’s plight to self sabotage in a 2 hour period 😑
~ Will be doing a 24 hour fast with little to no preparation. But I’m just going to not eat and drink water. If anyone can provide any other tips I would greatly appreciate it! - Wed 03/27🛑175.4;+1.4lbs
~ I don’t want to talk about it🙄I ate at night when everyone went to bed in a sneaky type of way. I tried to recover today but my mind is still reeling over what I did and how I did it. Thinking about doing a 24 hr fast but I’ve never done it before. - SW 03/26✅173;-0lbs

4/04 - 148.1 - Work blew up so thoroughly yesterday the only reason I was able to refill my water, grab any kind of lunch (which I had to then subtly try to eat between talking on phone calls), and use the bathroom was because my computer crashed and I was waiting for it to restart. No opportunity to do ANYTHING and had 2-3 phone calls coming in all at the same time from various people. Today is starting off slower but I truly believe once everybody gets into the office (by 9am ~ 30 minutes) it's going to be much the same. Due to being short staffed and fully volunteer, I'm now working the fire department from 8am Saturday to 4pm Monday with only one 8-hour break from 4-midnight Saturday night. And on call until midnight Monday (in which I have to be at work by 7am Tuesday if I have cell/internet service at that point). Needless to say, I won't be around the first part of next round and when I return, my weight likely won't be accurate. Either it'll be high due to stress and water retention or it'll be a false slow due to stress and interrupted meals. Hopefully I can check in tomorrow, but if not, I hope everyone has a fantastic end of round and I'll see you midway through next round!
4/05
Previous Day's Comments3/27 - No change but that's okay. I started estimating my calorie intake (I didn't fully measure while meal prepping and I'm not weighing things when I eat, so just a rough estimate) to ensure I'm getting enough to fuel my body with the strength training but not so much that I'll be gaining fat. I'm very low on protein this week so I'm figuring out how to up protein in my meals for the next two weeks as well as snacks to add in. This weekend's grocery trip must get me through until at least the 12th of April due to the Eclipse (can't grocery shop the weekend of the 6th/7th as I'll be on call with the Fire Department). I'm still learning what works for me with meal prep (mix and match is going very well! Day 3 and I'm not yet dreading either meal) as well as what is needed to meet my goals. A work in progress still makes small steps forward!
3/28 - A little dip, for which I'm thankful. I found myself in a rut yesterday with meal planning to make my grocery list. I'll work on that after work today and hopefully come up with something that will work well without getting overly bored of certain foods and with being on-duty for the weekend (travels well/can be prepped head so I'm not called out in the middle of cooking). I'm rushing because I found out after I posted yesterday that HEB is closed Easter/Sunday and I'm out of town Saturday so I have to make a work lunch grocery run tomorrow instead. Due to leaving somewhat early Saturday, I'll also be running tomorrow for my cardio day/10k training. It'll be a busy one since I'm also going to be trying to finish a huge project tomorrow for work. Eek! This is a trial, but I can handle it with a proper mindset
3/29 - A small drop and that's okay. Very busy with both work and grocery shopping today. Today is the deadline and I'm close, but not there yet. Waiting on responses from vendors - one has holiday today so I won't get answers before my deadline. Ugh. Likely will be working late due to the grocery trip interrupting and the need to finish as much as I can without vendor responses. At least it is Friday! Baseball game out of town tomorrow so eating out most of the day - will do my best to stay active and eat responsibly given my options. No run this morning due to weather. It was very windy and, although it said no rain, looked like a downpour could happen any second. Dogs and I got rained on earlier this week on a walk when it said no rain so I didn't trust it. Depending on when we have to leave tomorrow, I'll try for a run in the morning, though it may be shorter due to schedule restrictions.
3/30 - DNP
3/31 - DNP
4/01 - Bouncing back down after a weekend of eating out. Friday night we had a spur of the moment dinner out after watching our Goddaughter's softball game. Saturday we ate out due to being out of town. Yesterday we went to Fam's for a crawfish boil. I did my monthly measurements (on time!) and have lost 1 1/2 inches since March 7th (almost forgot to measure in March). I lost 1/2 inch on each: waist (smallest part), belly pooch (just below belly button, largest part), and hips (widest part). This is exciting and very needed due to the slow scale progress. Just proof that I'm doing a body composition - gaining muscle while losing fat! Here's to more and more! Lots of posts to catch up on and a very busy day full of meetings so hopefully I can take a few mental breaks to see how everyone else is doing!
4/02 - I was very snacky yesterday. Today I'm feeling very tired/groggy and have a LOT of brainfog. Not sure what's going on but several others have stated they're dealing with much of the same this morning. I've managed to talk myself out of a few snacks that I know I'm reaching for because I am so tired - my pea-brain is telling me sugar will give me energy! Hah!! I did go to the gym and pushed through a workout, though, so I'm feeling pretty good about at least sticking to my plans/goals. I need to catch up on posts here, I'm so far behind. Hopefully I'll be in a better headspace soon and be able to focus and catch up during a mental break from work this afternoon.

4/4 207.4 Yay!! I’ve been very strict with staying slightly under my calorie goal. No eating a little piece of chocolate or a handful of pretzels. I’m keeping my eye on being lighter for that knee surgery in July.

Happy new round! It’s a cold, wet, windy morning here, so I’m hoping to finish a cardigan I’m knitting. That’s exercise, right? 🤪 I’ve been knitting up a storm the past few months—can’t snack when knitting. Here’s a wrap I finished last week.
3/28 - 195
I seem to be stuck. But I’m listening to my body better and snacking a lot less, so all good. I finished my cardigan yesterday—here it is (I haven’t washed it yet). I’ll stop now with the knitting. 😊
3/29 - 195
It’s cold this morning but nice and sunny and it’s supposed to warm up. I’m hoping to get outside for a little start on garden cleanup and a nice walk this afternoon. Enjoy your day!
3/30 - 195
Stuckity stuck stuck! 😊 It’s a rain rain rainy day, so I’m going to my friend’s house to knit for a couple hours and have lunch—a good use for a rainy chilly day. Happy Saturday, all!
3/31 - 195
Charlie chased the Easter bunny out of the yard last night, so I don’t think we’ll be having any chocolate. 🤣 We’re actually eating pretty healthy since it’s just me and DH—he’s making a turkey breast, asparagus, and oven roasted potatoes for late lunch/early dinner, and I made French toast (I use thin-sliced Dave’s Good Seed, which makes delicious French toast, and use a little raspberry spread, no sweeteners—yummy). I’m hoping to get a walk in, but right now it’s cold and rainy. Anyway…Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

That’s amazing, since I’ve been eating a bit too much the past 3 days. Fine by me! I’ve set up some “change of habit” goals to apply one-by-one over the next few rounds, beginning this round and next with no snacking while reading, which I do all to often. Like many people, I tend to come up with multiple changes I want to make all at once and it never works, so I’m going to try one or two at a time. Small changes add up!
4/04 - 194.8
No one else showed up for agility class, so Charlie and I got 20 minutes of running time. I wasn’t running all of that, but a good portion, so good spurt of exercise.

3/27-DNW-Hoping to get my whole list done today. If I work on it all day, I can walk after dinner.
4/1-177-Easter came and went. Our adult sons came to stay a few nights and it was wonderful to have them here. I let too many things get in the way of my walking; today I’ll get back at it.
4/2-177-At least it’s not higher. Such a beautiful day so I went out and planted plants that had been kindly waiting and dug Dahlia bulbs out of pots to put in the ground. Kept moving the whole time.
4/3-176-Two dr. appointments yesterday and still had time to ride the horse and work in the yard. Easter came early this year….my yard is finally looking nice. Walked after dinner 3.5 miles. It’s a start.
4/4-176-Glad to stay, was hoping for a drop but had salty ham for dinner. DH wants to drive up to the snow today…..probably lunch out, if so, I am hoping for control. With a storm moving in, there won’t be much walking. Yoga this morning.8 -

Hoping to lose 2-3lbs and another 1-2 inches.6 -

Comments pertain to the day before
3/27 – 137.5
3/28 - 136.5 Yesterday was a good day. Cleaned in preparation for the arrival of DGD#2 this evening.
3/29 - 136.0 DGD’s flight was delayed about 7 hours so I’m a bit sleep deprived. Today is DGD#3’s 21st birthday. Her mom woke her at 11:45 last night and took her for her first adult beverage and a chance to win at a slot machine.
3/30 - 134.0 I had 2 eggs for brunch and beef brisket for dinner. 3 sips of celebratory champagne at nail salon. DGD#2 spent the day and night with her cousins and aunt and uncle after the ladies got pedis and I got a mani.
3/31 - 134.0 Tried a place our daughter told us about that is owned by a friend of hers. All I ate all day were those 2 tacquitos.
4/1 - 136.0 Honey baked ham, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes and some roasted broccoli. I knew this was going to be a tough week with DGD#2 visiting and lots of eating out and didn’t even consider Easter. 4/2 137.0 Having an out of town family member visit turns into an eating festival. I don’t feel great (no TMI, in spite of Miralax) I’m so bloated.
4/3 - 135.5 Today - One more non-compliant day as my #2 daughter, DGD#2 and I go to Chocolate and Wine tasting at 4:30 at the Ethel M store/factory, followed by family dinner at an Italian restaurant (deep dish pizza)
4/4 - 137.0 I ordered Eggplants Parm - it was the worst eggplant ever. I didn’t know you could make tough eggplant. It was inedible so I ate the cheese and sauce off the top. The chocolate and wine tasting was interesting and fun. Too much salt, not enough water. Three pizzas of which I ate none. DGD#2 flies back to Iowa this morning.7 -

04/03 -181.4- (Trend weight180.9) I went out to dinner locally with my son last night. I had waited too long to eat and suddenly had a sugar drop in the restaurant. I had the special: grilled chicken breast in a parmesan sauce (similar to alfredo) over rice mixed with spinach and mushrooms. I ate the rice which is a no-no but definitely my body craved it to get the carbs to pull me out of my state. I also ate the slice of garlic toast that came with it. I drank plenty of water at the restaurant but probably not enough for the rest of the evening. Today I will try a day of redemption but I will make sure I eat a little something earlier to avoid a glucose issue. I hadn’t had an incident in over a month so that was a disappointment.
04/04 -181.2- (Trend weight181.0) I’m honestly shocked that the scale didn’t go down more. I had such an excellent day yesterday of following all the “rules and routines” of my diet and exercise. Not enough water and no TMI today but I still expected to see a bigger drop as my swings on the scale are usually dramatic. I guess I’ll practice the character trait of patience today. In other thoughts, will winter ever end in Michigan USA?
