I know you enjoy seeing the reno pictures. Here's another one. They are working today (and the next couple of days) on leveling the floor joists and redoing the subfloor. Not only should it eliminate squeaks but it should assure that the plank flooring going down will not eventually separate. Since separation has happened to me in the past, they are assuring that it won't happen during this renovation. because I have a basement, there is not solid slab of floor, but empty underneath space which is in my son's downstairs apartment. This makes keeping floor level more of a challenge. House built 1971 so it's time....

@888Angie888 Welcome to our group! Welcome to all the new friends that have hopped on and joined us this round. It's so nice to have all of you here!4 -
My goal is to be proud of my weight loss.
Day 01 80.1 kg, I did my planned exercise but I overate a little bit (I'm tracking my intake), since I started tracking I've eaten out 4 times and I need to compensate for those times. I read "most people who lose weight will regain it within 5 years", I checked my old numbers and I'm 3.5 kg under what I weighed 5 years ago. I guess I'm in that category. I talked to my partner about my weight loss (something I'm trying to do less often).
Day 02 80.0 kg, I ate below my ideal which should help me recover from previous overeating. I did my exercise sessions.
Day 03 80.1 kg6 -
Hello Team 100. I have enjoyed reading your check-ins. Thanks for posting. It’s comforting to know I am not doing this alone.
Day 2 - 4/11/24 152 lbs (same 🤷♀️)
Goal - 130 lbs
Rough start to the day but hung in there. Started counting calories today 1400 - 1600 is my goal. 275 left. Saving them for an evening tea & healthy muffin. I made a double batch today and I find them quite satisfying. Recipe below.
Currently on the elliptical with a 30 minute timer set. Working on interval training. It’s kicking my butt! 😂 Going to finish with a 30 minute vinyasa flow session. 🧘 Tomorrow I will focus on a bit of strength training. 💪
Seeking advice
Looking for suggestions to work my abs without straining my neck or lower back. Thanks in advance. 👍
Note about the muffin recipe below:
I substituted applesauce for the maple syrup and used half the blueberries; however, I added well drained Tropical Fruit Cocktail. Delicious!

Tina, congratulations on the inches lost. It’s always exciting to see curves that taper in the healthy direction.
Mouse traps. lol. I’ve never heard it called that before. That was my final “off the grid snack” before starting this challenge. They were delicious but nothing tastes as good as healthy feels. 🥰4 -

jennysweet58 wrote: »Back for Round 3 for me! Hi, I’m Jenny – 59 years old, 5’6”, and reached my goal of 175 pounds during the last challenge. I’d like to give myself a little buffer so that even if I have a little gain on vacation I won’t go above 175 ever again! So am looking to whittle down another 5-8 pounds.
Day 01-04/10: 172.6 - Nice to see a drop already! I’ve been feeling a little hungrier than usual the past couple of days so I feel like my body is trying to nudge me back up. I ain’t goin’, so give it up bod! I am in charge!! Have been diligent with workouts the past few days too, so feeling good all-around!
Day 02-04/11: DNW – super stressful day at work, started at 5am and never stopped…no workout
Day 03-04/12: 171.0 – Ok I have a feeling there will be a correction next week, but I’ll take it!! It’s just so exciting to see numbers on the scale I haven’t seen in literally a decade! There’s a wedding we’re going to in August where the bride has requested everyone wear “sea glass colors” so I’ve been on the hunt for a dress and shoes – and I’m just so busy I usually try to order a few things online from a store I can return them to near me (so I’m not stuck with return shipping charges) , and the same with shoes…I can’t tell you how exciting it is to have dresses show up, try them on and they not only fit well but look fantastic !! Or if they don’t, it’s just because the style or color doesn’t suit me, not because I can’t zip the damn thing up. I used to call it feeling “struttable”, a made-up word I haven’t used in a VERY long time – but a pair of shoes showed up yesterday and I was strutting around feeling pretty hot for an old broad!! I hope nobody minds but I end my weigh-in weeks on Fridays, so will adjust my weekly dates. I’m just so damn happy and proud of myself!
WEEK 1 LOSS OR GAIN: 2.2 pounds lost
Accumulated loss or gain: 2.2 pounds lost

@jennysweet58
Congratulations on reaching a weight you haven't seen or felt in a decade! You've worked hard and deserve to be "strutting around" feeling pretty great. You are going to absolutely shine at that wedding, my friend. Look out world!4 -

Thoughts:
Last round I had my normal goal of a 12 pound loss which is approximately 4 lbs per month. That comes to about 90 days leaving the other 10 open for special holidays and social occasions. In theory, it’s a good plan. In practice it is a Mountain to Crawl up. However, each 100 day round I am extremely grateful for any progress I can make, no matter how big or small. I am also grateful for all the support from all of you that I get on a daily basis. Working on my health has become my #1 priority. My main goals are to maintain my remission by staying cancer free and to keep my diabetes in control. Losing weight is key to both goals.
Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.
Day 01-04/10-181.6-(Trend weight 181.7)
Day 02-04/11-179.6-(Trend weight 181.5) Well, here I am – settled back down into that comfortable space of the high 170’s. I’ve been sitting here for a bit longer that I’d hoped due to setback after setback. I’m still grateful to have hit the 170’s but it’s time to start making some serious progress toward the lower 170’s and inch my way into the 160’s. Maybe if I stay quiet, tip-toe even, maybe the universe won’t see me and I can claim the 160’s as mine by the 4th of July. Yesterday I was hungry all day. I tried something new. I ate part of my lunch earlier than usual then finished it at regular time. I did the same with dinner, eating my side between lunch and dinner then my entrée at normal time. I saved my snacks for night, otherwise it would have been a snack binge-fest. It seemed to have worked pretty well. I’ve got to start changing my mindset that I must be stuffed full to stop eating. It’s okay to be satisfied. Food for fuel, right?
Day 03-04/12-180.4-(Trend weight 181.4) I am not completely sure of why there is such an uptick. I’m sure that staying off my foot and getting very little movement and exercise is not helping. I have only been in the 3000 step range per day for about a week now and have only hit my 250 steps per hour on my fitbit 1 time out of 13 for 5 straight days in a row. Not burning calories I suppose is the main culprit. Yesterday I ate 1195 calories and 74 carbs. It was a good day. Another cold rainy day here in northern Michigan. Winds are expected to be quite severe today. Overall, no sun and very depressing. I’ve pre-logged my food and I expect today to be a good dietary day. I may try the exercise bike today as the foot is improving but still swollen. Dr. finally called. I can’t get in for two weeks! It will be healed by then and I guess I’ll never get answers. But we’ll at least go over that wonky blood work.

Hi!
I am Dawn. 63, 5'2"
I have been at this tracking for quite awhile, on this particular thread for 15 out of the 19 iterations of it.
I lost quite a bit (got to 130), but have been slowly gaining weight over the past 2 years despite my efforts.
Highest weight was 207. Began on this thread at 198 pounds
Day 01-04/10 - 146.8 - Nachos and adult beverages last night, so not surprised. Aiming to have a much better day today.
Day 02-04/11 - 147.8 - No sleep, up much of the night back and forth to the bathroom
Day 03-04/12 - 147.2 - Had a very stressful day with work schedule changes. Maybe a new chapter work-wise is about to start. Hope so. Working 2 jobs today with only enough time to drive home, change uniforms and drive to the next job. This is ramping down. A friend came over when I got off of work and we tackled my long pea garden. All tilled up, weeds out, ready for planting over the next couple of days. Job interview on Sunday, researching the company, updating my resume, and making a list of talking points.
Day 04-04/13 -
Day 05-04/14 -

Hi Folks! My name's Darin, and I'm an almost-45 year old woman from Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA. I've done a past 100 days challenge before and did really well with it (then regained the weight) so wanted to rejoin and try again. While it's frustrating to be losing weight that I lost already, I do know I'm able to do this, so at least there's that? It's so good to see so many familiar names and catch up on reading on y'all's lives

Day 03 80.1 kg my eating is on track for the last 3 days but I need to recover from the previous 9 which averaged too high. I exercised and that's on track too. Disappointed that the scale is headed in the wrong direction but...
Day 04 79.4 kg

@Natone Thank you! Funny, I'm from a country where we barely knew pizza by that name until the 80s, but cheese on toast was always a fave for lunch and parties. I know a lot of diet book writers say it was the Govt urging us all to eat less fat and more carbs in the 80s that made us all obese [ but I'm convinced it was the arrival of pizza! If everyone was following Govt guidelines, how come by the end of the decade there was a burger or a fried chicken or a pizza joint on every corner? And those foods are ultra high in fat.....could it be the same people who were self reporting in surveys that they were trying to eat healthier.....???
Why yes! Yes it could! Saw it in my friends many times. They'd down an entire packet of fat free cookies, then say "Jump in the car, kids. I deserve a break today." The halo effect.... And the total amount of calories consumed went up.....And the same people who were buying all the Jane Fonda videos and saying they were exercising more (like the Govt tells us!)....? Were the same ones who were relying on their cars more and more because they were so busy they didn't have time to walk or bike any more....
All this to say I find cheese to be very moreish and I'm going to have to ban it from the kitchen along with bread. And it's very high in salt which leads to water retention and may also explain why my bp is up slightly even tho my weight is down.6 -
Back again! 65F, 5' 8". CW 65.2 kg. aiming to get down to 60 kg, but I'll be happy dropping another 3.
Day 01-04/10-- 65.2 kg. Meant to measure waist and hips this am but forgot.
Day 02-04/11-- 64.5 kg.
Day 03-04/12-- 64.4 kg. Waist 29.3" Hips 38.3". Very pleased with these measurements - esp the hips! After giving birth I was convinced they would never be under 40" again no matter how many Jane Fonda videos I owned. To celebrate I found half a stale French loaf at the back of the pantry (don't ask!) and had French toast for breakfast, mousetraps (mini pizzas on bread) for lunch, and bread and veg soup for dinner - then tossed the rest to the birds. No more bread allowed for a week now.
Day 04-04/13-- 65.1 kg. Not what I'd hoped to wake up to. Think it's water retention from all the salt I consumed yesterday.
