Day 12-04/21-- 64.6 kg. Getting darker and colder, we usually get more rain in the winter, so there will be less walking. Still at a calorie deficit, so still will be losing weight, just at a slower rate - 0.25 kg a week (0.55 lb)

Hi, I’m Elise. I’m 62 and 5’5” . I live in Southeast Michigan.
This week we celebrated my husband’s birthday and I made him a most delicious carrot cake that I had too much of. We’ve also ate out quite a bit. I’m restarting again today and trying to be honest with myself. I lose weight when I exercise and eat right. I gain weight when I don’t. I’m going to bust out my Skinnytaste cookbooks, and walk with my grandkids today at Greenfield Village.

Day 09-04/18-- 156.4 Yesterday: up at 4:00 AM for work. I only had coffee until 4:00 PM. This was not a planned fast it was due to being so busy and stressed at work. Got home with pizza in hand around 7:00ish “for my husband” and ate 2 pretty big slices, chips, 1/2 a bottle of soda then walked 2 miles with the dog but finished off the night with a piece of cake. 🫤 I’m pretty discouraged today. Heading to the market to make some mindful choices. Today is really my day 1.

I am Dawn. 63, 5'2"
I have been at this tracking for quite awhile, on this particular thread for 15 out of the 19 iterations of it.
I lost quite a bit (got to 130), but have been slowly gaining weight over the past 2 years despite my efforts.
Highest weight was 207. Began on this thread at 198 pounds
Week 1 Goal: 145.6 - My start weight from the last 100. Plunking this in each week until I hit it.
Week 1 actual weight: 147.2 - started the week at 146.8
Day 08-Wednesday 04/17 - 148.0 - Still nothing on the new job, swung by there after 2nd job of the day, but it is not open yet so they didn't start without me. If I don't get that job I will start looking around for something when I get back from Cancun in June.
Day 09-04/18 - 148.4 - Champagne and Camembert. Uptick, but kind of worth it. Only one job, so got out for a really nice walk despite my very sore knee. X-rays showed arthritis in it. Looking at exercises to strengthen the muscles around it. Having said that, a couple of days of only one job per day usually relieves it. Ice packs do wonders in the evening. Even though the weather has turned cold, I got 7 rows of peas in after my walk. A friend helped me turn it all over and remove the weeds last week to make it ready for planting. It is around 25 feet long. Just one job today, so I expect to get a few more seeds in.
Day 10-04/19 - 149.0 - Double ouch
Day 11-04/20 - 147.4 - Worked 2 jobs yesterday, but just one today and tomorrow. Not really worth working 7 days per week for just a 4 hour shift - lost 3 of my shifts at the restaurant which kind of sort of made working 7 days a week worth it. My "line" at the long term care place ends on the 27th of April, so I will have the 28th and the 30th off completely from both jobs. Unless I pick up shifts of course. I have a few hours this afternoon to get out into the yard and do some more planting or something. Sunny, but very windy. Plus 8c
Day 12-04/21 - 146.8 - Looking like another beautiful day. Still sipping coffee. Waiting for the sun to hit the area of the garden that I have started working on. I really need to begin to get a bit of a tan before going to Mexico. The stress of losing shifts/money I guess has an upside, I get to be outside, and apparently I am losing weight.
Day 13-04/22 - 145.6 - ??? I don't get it, but I will take it. Is it not leaving for work until 3:30 2 days in a row so I was able to actually be outside? Working both jobs today, so no outside time. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow.

Thoughts:
Last round I had my normal goal of a 12 pound loss which is approximately 4 lbs per month. That comes to about 90 days leaving the other 10 open for special holidays and social occasions. In theory, it’s a good plan. In practice it is a Mountain to Crawl up. However, each 100 day round I am extremely grateful for any progress I can make, no matter how big or small. I am also grateful for all the support from all of you that I get on a daily basis. Working on my health has become my #1 priority. My main goals are to maintain my remission by staying cancer free and to keep my diabetes in control. Losing weight is key to both goals.

Day 12-04/21--My meals have been great. My exercise is still almost non-existent as I am probably “over-babying” the foot right now. My snacks have been over-the-top. I ABSOLUTELY can very easily over-eat (or binge) on my approved low calorie/low carb foods. So everything I ate yesterday was healthy and to-plan. Just too much of it. Part hunger, part food obsession/binge disorder. I’ve got to get a grip. What causes these binges to creep up? What happened this time? The foot injury and inability to exercise? The cancer scare? The renovation and the mess and turmoil in my daily life it causes? Life has challenges, fears, stresses. I am trying really hard not to cope with food and emotional eating. It’s a battle in itself. I’ll try harder to put out the fires tonight, that’s all I can do.
Day 13-04/22-- I have developed a muffin-top which is the stage right before you need a new size. I’m pretty disgusted right now and can’t take much more disappointment. The struggle is real. You are not alone.

Hi Folks! My name's Darin, and I'm an almost-45 year old woman from Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA. I've done a past 100 days challenge before and did really well with it (then regained the weight) so wanted to rejoin and try again.
Starting weight: 176.7Day 01-04/10—176.7Day 08-04/17—175.2 another partial day at work today due to migraine, and I’m retaining water. Blergh. Between the two not feeling great. At least got out and walked, and I meditated today. That’s something.

Day 04-04/13—174.6 Went to get a mani/pedi today which was lovely. Made a terrific seared salmon for dinner with baked potato and am stopping eating right now! No more eating. That’s it. or drinking. Let’s see how it goes.
Day 05-04/14—174.3 Succeeded with the no more eating last night. Also succeeded at moderation at an all-you-can eat buffet today (a ton of fresh vegetables and some fruit as well). Thus far the making good decisions is going well. But I think this downward trend is going to stop soon – I’ve lost all the water weight I’m going to lose. So now the work starts for real.
Day 06-04/15—173.9 Work kicked my butt today. Thankfully Josh and I walked this morning so don’t have to try to exercise right now. Just have to try not to stress-eat the entire fridge and pantry…
Day 07-04/16—174.2 Slight uptick but still met my goal weight so there’s that. Tough migraine day – had to take part of the day off from work today for bed rest. UGH.

Day 09-04/18—175.2 migraine’s eased up and have stabilized with the weight. Now hopefully start to see a downward trend? Meditated again and was very moderate with lunch and breakfast. Will try to maintain for dinner.

Day 11-04/20—174.7 I’m trying to be kind to myself with having felt so bad this week. I did have a ”woke myself up laughing” moment that I’m sure you’ll appreciate… I dreamt that I had gone into the office and was looking at a menu to pick out lunch. You know you’re counting calories IRL when your pick’s a clam chowder bread bowl with a bloomin’ onion topper!
Day 12-04/21—173.9 went to a cheeseburger party yesterday and did well with moderation (just one burger, limited sides, didn’t go bananas when in front of the potato chips although could have. Then came home and didn’t continue eating because I wasn’t hungry. Victory!

My goal is to be proud of my weight loss.
Day 01 80.1 kg, I did my planned exercise but I overate a little bit (I'm tracking my intake), since I started tracking I've eaten out 4 times and I need to compensate for those times. I read "most people who lose weight will regain it within 5 years", I checked my old numbers and I'm 3.5 kg under what I weighed 5 years ago. I guess I'm in that category. I talked to my partner about my weight loss (something I'm trying to do less often).
Day 02 80.0 kg, I ate below my ideal which should help me recover from previous overeating. I did my exercise sessions.
Day 03 80.1 kg my eating is on track for the last 3 days but I need to recover from the previous 9 which averaged too high. I exercised and that's on track too. Disappointed that the scale is headed in the wrong direction but...
Day 04 79.4 kg a big loss today. I did a lot of walking, I had sugary food for the first time in 8 days. I overate. Recently there have been 6 days when I overate a lot, I had sugary food 5 times. Coincidence?
Day 05 79.8 kg just a normal day where I am good, no overeating and exercising is as required
Day 06 80.4 kg I started two personal challenges, I had some sugary food because I won't be having sugary food for a while, so on Tuesday I gained...
Day 07 80.6 kg my eating and exercise went well, still need to recover from the overeating episodes, maybe in 2-3 days that will happen
Day 08 80.4 kg I had some treats and food I don't usually have, that's a negative, on the plus side I'm still exercising as I intended
Day 09 80.3 kg I have a cold so I only managed half my exercise today, that's fine, eating was good.
Day 10 80.2 kg another day when I ate properly, two days in a row, plus two exercise sessions.
Day 11 79.7 kg a good day in terms of exercise and eating
Day 12 78.7 kg I don't see a 1 kg loss very often, anyway I overate again, although my exercise was as planned
Day 13 79.3 kg Another good day, exercise and diet were good. I've decided to attempt to lose 10 kg in 100 days - so this will move over to the next round. Starting tomorrow.

Day 11-04/20-- 64.7 kg. Slightly over limit today - had pizza for the 1st time in ??? weeks - but only 2 slices plus tomato salad with a simple vinegar dressing - no fries or garlic bread.
mmm ....garlic bread..... haven't eaten the entire length of 3 Challenges (other types of bread are another matter....
Day 12-04/21-- 64.6 kg. Getting darker and colder, we usually get more rain in the winter, so there will be less walking. Still at a calorie deficit, so still will be losing weight, just at a slower rate - 0.25 kg a week (0.55 lb)
Day 13-04/22-- 64.7 kg.
Day 14-04/23-- 64 kg! Wow! How did that drop happen so fast? Need to recheck the position of the scale in case it has sidled back onto the spot where the weight shows lower than it actually is.
......Gee, I wonder who might have "accidently" nudged that scale......

Hi, I’m Elise. I’m 62 and 5’5” . I live in Southeast Michigan.
This week we celebrated my husband’s birthday and I made him a most delicious carrot cake that I had too much of. We’ve also ate out quite a bit. I’m restarting again today and trying to be honest with myself. I lose weight when I exercise and eat right. I gain weight when I don’t. I’m going to bust out my Skinnytaste cookbooks, and walk with my grandkids today at Greenfield Village.

Day 14-04/23-- 200.2 This is my official day 1. I want to be healthy for my daughter and myself. This summer I am going on a physical vacation (hiking, lots of walking), I want to be ready for it. I just spent a few days walking in NYC, my heel and my ankle hurt. I know it’s my weight, it’s time to take this weight off for good. This is my highest weight ever, up until 2 months ago I was “maintaining “ at 185 but gained these 15 lbs so easily, I’m shocked! I know there’s no limit to how much I will gain if I keep eating the way I do. This has to stop, I need to get back in control. Today is the day! I’m am tracking everything I eat. I worked out yesterday. I’m taking a break today, my heel hurts and I am too sore. Tomorrow is workout day 2.
