Would she be interested in renting out a portion of the property to someone who has animals like a horse, goats, alpacas, etc.?
She might be able to keep half an acre for herself and rent out the 3 acres.

Too many mountain lions/bobcats/coyote etc.
We did have animals when we were growing up and never had a problem with the wild animals but they are showing up all the time.
She could rent out the back part of the property if someone wanted to garden. We used to have the front and back full of garden(full acre of garden), now, the back field is pretty empty. Few fruit trees and some thornless black berries that dad planted.3 -
Morning, my chickens, from the too-early pre-dawn rumbly bumblies of the Arkansas River Valley,
The lightning flash, followed by the far-off thunder, woke me at about 3:30 a.m., but the barometric headache kept me awake, so I just gave up and got some coffee going. The headache is already fading here an hour later, which I appreciate. Corey will be up shortly. His bunch at the landscape company will be in a flurry, as there's supposed to be a break in the rain about 6:30 a.m., and they'll get out and try to get everything done before the next storm system moves in. Supposedly lots of rain for three or four more days - fairly typical spring in Arkansas.
If there is a break and it's not too muddy, I might get outside, but if I'm already engrossed in my quilt, I'll just keep going. Will get on the elliptical later, and maybe do a little work on the free weights to make up for some of the missed exercise I would have done outside.
Hope it is/was/will be a good Thursday for all,
Later, y'all,
Love,

Good morning ladies!
Allie, so sorry about Tracy's baby. Hugs for the whole family.
Not much going on here. There's banking and paperwork waiting for me. And I need to clean out refrigerators. But maybe I will read a book instead. I'm still in a bit of a slump.

Finally posted on Facebook about mom passing yesterday.
They didn’t want me to post it because they were taking a bet to see how long it would take for Jesse to find out (the oldest brother)

Thank you @Machka for the missing parts! I knew there was more but I was tired and didn’t even think to look last night. 😍 You are a great co-author!! 😁
Part 6 beginning
Fairy Godmother magically pops into the kitchen to see what she can do. She gets there before everyone leaves, looks around and examines the body from afar. She then pops out and into Cinderella’s room. She sees that Sleeping Beauty is helping her and offers to help speed up Cindy’s cleanup. (And while she’s at it, sprucing up Sleeping Beauty a little as well).
Nosy, standing near the front door, tries to stop anyone who is leaving to ask if they know anything. There is a rumor going around the Ball now that there is a hole dug out behind Zel’s tower. The rumor is that Cindy was found out there. The servants shut and lock the doors, pushing Nosy back into the hall. He rushes over to Pixie to exchange notes with her. What have they found out?? They are keeping it all to themselves.
Outside, Hansel and Grettle have been found by Shrek, who questions them about why they are outside and running away from the Ball. Zel, has run into Fiona in the tunnel. (Unbeknownst to anyone, Shrek and Fiona had been hired to guard the Ball and any ‘secret’ means of entering and leaving.

Today is: I made this little Go-Gru amigurumi a while back and sent it to my grandson. I’ve made more of these but gave them away. I need to make a ‘Warmie’ one for myself and my DH! Enjoy your day!! Don’t forget to wear your red hats if you have them!!

I have found it hard to keep up with the posts the last two weeks and make comments.
I’m enjoying the practicum more this week than last, I think it’s because I know what to expect more this week.
Michele - the numbering system is each day is assigned a number and that denotes the schedule of classes that day. Last week it just happened to be that Monday was a Day 1 so it all worked out, but there was no school on Friday last week so Day 5 became this Monday. Apparently it’s used in a lot of schools now.
“Training to be a widow” - I would be fine if anything happened to Rodger, I do most everything now anyway, I take care of the finances, do all the meals, arrange for services like mechanics
Or plumbers and last year we bought a lawn mower so I could mow since that’s what he does all day at work.
I don’t like being in this position but it happened naturally when he drove truck. Then I guess it just never stopped. I would love to be taken care of in some things, but I don’t expect it to ever change, he will be in a mess if something happens to me because he refuses to learn anything. I’ve told my girls where the important stuff is.
Heather - I hope you have a wonderful visit with your Grands. It’s hard when you’re used to seeing them and then don’t for a while. I’m hoping my Grands come out on Sunday this week.
Your excitement about the earbuds can be felt in your writing.
Kylia - I have no words to help with your work situation, it is difficult being family. You would think that it would make it better but it doesn’t seem to be the case.
Linda - “Bump on a log” that describes it well.
Allie - prayers and hugs for Tracy. Is the other twin doing well still?
My Mom married my Dad and left her parents house when she did. When he passed she was lost. She hadn’t done anything, unbeknownst to us she was also showing signs of Alzheimer’s and that made things much more difficult. My brother took over everything to help her. Thankfully she was open to it.
Lisa - that’s what I have to do when I go to NB. I don’t have anyone willing to come see me at my brother’s or Rodger’s mom’s except Cheryle and a young lady that babysat for me years ago. I finally gave up. I visit a couple of cousins that are older and don’t travel, but other than that I don’t bother. It’s the same with calls. I purposely haven’t called anyone for months at a time and don’t hear from anyone except Cheryle. I do call Rodger’s mom, even though I pay the phone bill for her she still doesn’t call me. I have learned to live with it but it really bothers me.
My Dad was the one that visited all of his family, none visited him either until he was sick. He was very bitter about it. I think it’s those of us who have a deep sense of family are the ones to make the effort and the others just don’t have it for some reason.
Rebecca - that’s exactly it, I chose to move away so it’s my responsibility to keep it all together. I’m over it too.
Rita - I’m really enjoying the mystery, I am not imaginative enough to add to it.
My foot is not liking the walking I’m doing at the practicum, I’m averaging 4000 steps per day, which is so much more than I’ve been doing for almost 5 years now. My weight seems to be dropping because of it so I’m hoping I can keep it up.
I have been doing some scrapbooking in the evenings this week and my screen time has dropped 43% for the last week according to my phone. I need to keep that up as well.

Good afternoon, Friends,
79F and sunny in Jacksonville, FL today.
Allie: So sorry to hear about the twin. Has to be hard on your stay away. I saw you dropped off some flowers. I know sometimes my daughter says she wants to be alone, but it’s more that she doesn’t want to bother anyone. When I show up, she’s happy to see me.
Dec62269: Welcome! You’ve found a great group!
Michele: In a month or so Florida will be hot, hot, hot!
Pip: Sorry to hear about your mother.
Story:
Gretel realizes the cloaked figure is their good friend, Shrek. She quickly apologizes as she and Hansel help Shrek up to his feet. They explain they were just trying to take the opportunity to go munch on BabaYaga’s house while she was otherwise occupied. Shrek can certainly understand, but tells them this is not the time to be out roaming through the woods with a killer on the loose. Gretel concedes that she is thirsty and would love some more of the Prince’s wine. The trio is chatting while walking back to the castle when suddenly Hansel falls into the deep hole in the ground. While Gretel calls down into the hole to see if Hansel is alright, Shrek notices their proximity to Zel’s tower. He knows Fiona was around here. He sees the hole, but no sign of his love. “FIOOOOONNNNAA,” he yells.
As for me:
I could moan and groan about the appointment with the oral surgeon yesterday, the looming community yard sale, or our mortgage payment going up due to taxes, BUT, the mama goose, Sharon, in the pond by my house hatched four adorable goslings in the past day! Adorable little balls of fluff!
Make it a great day,
Linda
