Hi! I am new to calorie counting and it’s been 2 days. I am having a hard time calorie counting and not really eating. Does this get easier?

    Yes. It gets easier.

    Your comment is ambiguous.
By having a hard time “not really eating” do you mean not eating as much as you are used to?
Or not reaching your calorie minimum for the day?

    Those are very different things.

Ideas for the first issue might include getting more protein, and/or fiber to help you feel fuller longer. And possibly things to chew on to satisfy a sensory need.
There are silicone things for sensory needs. Or you might want to use a Miswak stick.
Lemme know if you want more information on those.

As for reaching a minimum calorie goal, high fat nutritionally dense foods line nuts and cheese are good. Protein bars and shakes are also handy. A vanilla protein shake in your morning coffee can boost your breakfast without overwhelming if you’re not the type to eat a big breakfast.
