wow pdx....sure hope you get your releif soon. it is so much better. now i did have a side ache. it's strange that is all i get now. can't wait for you to get releif. you should be able to do the next challenge. i am on no special diet.

kistin...great job on the gain....growing little sixer...
had a very tempting day today. went out to lunch and this place has the best cheeseburger (bessingers). go a single (normaly a double) ate only a 1/4 of the bun. order my onion rings. ate one whole ring and just pulled the onions out of rest. patted myself on the back. dinner was going to be eating out at one of our fav fast food. it had caught fire last year and just reopened. shanell worked there for a few years in high school, small little place know the owner and all. anyway, son wasn't home when we got back and he wanted to eat there too. called him, he was eating there anyway. we stayed home and made what we planned. now i just finished my big bowl of popcorn i use the 1/4 cup for 100 calories somethng like that. and diet coke and feel like i cheated all day. i have cut my soda down to one a day. so this was my second. didn't even make 1400 calories intake today. new habits are the best.
well, almost bed time. i am tired :yawn: ......tomorrow is around the corner.....

I'm not sure if i'm still this (148.6 ) weight anymore! lol I at least wanted the credit for getting there though :blushing: I know I gained some with the cruise so I may or may not update the weight before next week... :-/ . BUT I am working hard. I have started the body for life challenge and am seriously aiming for the grand prize! lol... seriously! this is a busy week for me and It is super stressful but I am remaining confident and speaking positive words and I will be back to check on you all! I apologize for my absence.0 -

Sooooooo... tomorrow's menu is:
1. pumpkin apple oatmeal
2. 1/4 cup skim milk cheese, 1 apple, 1 med carrot, 1 hard-boiled egg, 3 cups air-popped popcorn
3. vanilla blueberry protein shake, 1/2 banana w/ 1 tbsp almond butter
4. bean & bison chili, spinach & strawberry salad w/ balsamic vinegar
5. chocolate protein shake made w/ unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Not sure that I'll get a dedicated work-out tomorrow but we'll be walking around town. I ran today though outside w/ my mama :happy:

Well, no more time for personals. I'm falling asleep at the keyboard here. Found out yesterday my 10-yr highschool renunion is this fall back East. I may go... that may be just enough to push my incentive into hyper-drive! :laugh:

Good morning ladies. Been rough around here, kinda stressful. Yesterday my boss' son was going into convultions while he was home sick with his grandma, and she ran out the building and one of my co workers was calling 911. I called her last night, she said he is doing better, but still not 100% yet. I hope he feels better soon. Then our warehouse is like super huge and because of the huge loss of business, we are leasing out half of the building and we are trying to move over and out of their way and they are moving into the office next to us, we will be moving out of it soon because they are taking this whole office. Funny part it that the contract isn't even signed, the lawyers are still putting out offers. Funny huh? Plus, I'm trying to reorganized my house and waiting on hubby to paint the car next month. BUT!!!! I did work out yesterday and today. I'm only doing 20 to 30 minutes every morning.

DH leave today. will be back friday night. he got his new truck last night. so i have my car, DH's 2 trucks, son's car and son's work van, plus our van (which doesn't run) that's 6 cars, trucks, vans in the yard. glad we live in the country, so they are all parked on the lawn. better not damage the lawn. we rent. son should be moving out next month. so there goes 2. DH will transfer truck, so one should leave than. than we will down by half.
nothing planed for today. if i have to take DH to his rides house. i will just go to the gym from there and do a cardio workout. if not i will do something at home. than maybe go out and do some shopping by myself. better get dressed.

Supposedly hopping (or jump roping) is supposed to be great for your body.
I want to jump rope but never remember it while in the gym.
I want to hula hoop too. Talk about working that core!!

Good Morning Sixers. I did my step class this morning. Another 557 calories down and burned. YEA... Now if I could just lose some weight with this. I did measure myself this morning and not much had changed except my waist. I went down over 3 inches since Jan. 21. I cant believe that. It makes the no weight loss feel a little better. I even tried on my swim suit from last year last night and under my boobs it was loose. My hubby said he could see a difference.

okay. i finally got my a** back on the scale (the morning after my favorite food and beer holiday) and YEAY!!!! i am down to 147 again so total loss is only 1 lb but this past week i lost 3.5 so i am happy and back on track! i will take some time later to check in with personals but for now hello! have a great day... and i am glad to be back!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE sixers spring into summer.... good one!0 -

yea, connie i saw you at the gym in class, you was working your butt off :laugh: i was on the elipical and than the treadmill. today was just my cardio day. some reason i really wanted to do it at the gym. was great. tomorrow is weights. see you again than connie :bigsmile:
redsox...where she lives is really run down. not far from the water. she just moved there because my oldest sister was settled in tiverton RI. the rest of us had not settled down yet. there are six. she will be 87 next month, still lives by herself and gardens, and paints. gave up driving years ago. very stong woman. parents divorced after 33 yrs. i was 13. i still have issues with my dad. long story there. could be why i eat.
super workout. now i am real tired for some reason. could be because i ate hours before i worked out. may take a nap. just finished lunch.

Just got done with a meeting at work.
Sounds like my job is getting axed. I'll know more around the end of the month.
No jobs to be had here. Homes won't sale. My mom's been on unemployment for 16 months and counting. I'm really ready to puke but trying to make myself eat lunch.

Used the stress and ran. Shaved 4 minutes off my 2 mile time, burning an extra 50 calories. I was pretty impressed. Then I stepped on the scales. I have gained 2lbs in 2 weeks. :mad: I think it's stress kicking up my ulcer causing me to have 'digestion issues' that increase my weight mass, if I may put it so nicely. But you know, it doesn't matter. I am eating decently and working out.... Gotta keep the forest in mind, not those stinkin' trees.
It's still a good day.
And I have a banana to eat for snack.

Great job on the workouts everyone! I am looking forward to being able to get to the gym tomorrow now that hubby is home! YAY!!! The kiddos and I went for a bike ride yesterday afternoon, down to the park, then we played on the playground. Not sure how far of a trip it is, there is a nice trail that leads to this really big park in town. We love it! Although we realized yesterday that it is still just a bit early to be on the trail yet as parts of it were still covered in ice :noway: Oh well, it was just so nice to be able to go out on the bike!!!!!

what a day....just tried. not sure yet why. it's beautiful outside right now. i should be in the yard. i just want to sit. hope i am not coming down with something. plans for tomorrow is the gym with weights, shower and stop at the store for a few things. nothing else planned.

someone called and was saying once they fell they gave up....she said look at it this way. if your car got a flat tire, what do you do? you don't go ahead and flatten the other 3 tires and call it a day. you fix your flat and move on about your day. look at your food like that. you make a mistake you move on, and don't let the whole day be a mistake.
off to go outside and walk around, plant a few more flowers.

Glad everyone seems to be doing well. Just wanted to say I LOVE my Walk away the pounds 3 mile and 4 mile express dvd. I have been waking up sore after doing it. It makes me know I'm working different muscles. I jogged today after work.... it was pretty.

what a great day. the sun is shining (throu the fog), the birds are singing, the coffee tastes soso :laugh: . breakfast was good, took my meds, ready to go. going to get dressed here shortly and do my workout, shower and than go to walmart and get a few things. i sure hope everyone else is going to have a good day. think positive.

amylou....boys can be something. gee they say girls are hard to figure out. when i first saw my hubby i told my friends i was going to marry him. 2 yrs & a wife, 2 girlfriends later we got married. i meet him the night his exwife walked out on him and left w/her new boyfriend. i kept telling him he was missing out and said i give up, 6 months after that we were enganged and married a few months later and that was 32 yrs ago (in july). so just keep him in arms reach, they come around. :bigsmile:
