Totally agree with what @EliseTK1 wrote above. Lately I've started taking the stairs on purpose wherever I go, rather than avoiding them at all cost. Stair climbing has become easy, I no longer even get out of breath going up three levels. Bending down (to take off my pants, put on shoes, pick up something I dropped, clean the floor, etc.) is a no-brainer. Getting out of the car is no longer an ungainly embarrassment. I can stand up from the floor without using my hands. All of these were unthinkable just a year ago. It's nice being able to do whatever I need/want to do, and not having to adjust my activities around all these movements I felt I needed to avoid.18

I can see in my progress pictures, I had a pretty bad anterior pelvic tilt that was causing me some back pain. I've lost 27 lbs and have noticed that my pelvis has tilted back into a more regular/neutral position and I can tell it's made a big difference in how I walk, stand, and less pain.22

I went on a 5 1/2 week cruise and managed to feel my clothes feel looser.19

I bought a pair of pants off a clearance rack yesterday without trying them on. When I got home I realized that they are WAY to big for me. They will on going on FB Marketplace...lol12

My late wife used to steal all my favorite shirts as she got thicker over the years. But lately I've been wearing some of her really old t shirts. Like concert merch that I was gong to turn into throw pillows. Because I thought I'd never be small enough to fit into.20

I was told today that there was a discussion in the office about me. apparently started with:
'Have you noticed Ian's changed recently, got this whole new style going on'
'Yes think he's training cause his skin is really good...'
'Got a Roger Moore vibe going on' (that might be the best thing anyone's ever said about me...
Eating clean has me feeling so much better.26 -
Realizing that, even though the scale has slowed, my body changes are still happening. Down almost 2 pants sizes since November. ❤️❤️18

My stomach no longer hangs out under my shirt
I had to buy a new belt
Wearing shorts i have not worn in 5 yrs
Had to go tighter on my watch band
I have way more energy
My cholesterol is down almost 30 points to near normal22 -
I feel like my young self again. I’m walking around a city exploring places I want to see. Without having to worry about pain, and being unable to make it back if I go too far. Incredible.20

My 30 inch waist and 10 inch upper arms are back!! 😀 I'm back into my single digit size dresses!20

My most recent NSV was just getting up and going for a walk. Instead of just laying around and doing nothing. I got off my lazy butt and went for a 2 mile walk. Took me almost an hour, but I did it.30

I had to double check the size to make sure I was wearing the size S.
Two months of work and well worth it!16 -
In the last 10 months i have gone from 62"waist jeans down to 54"waist jeans - (100lb down)25

Back in December I got fed up with my pants being too big. So I gave up my 42s. And because I work in an unheated warehouse all winter. I bought several pairs of fleece lined 38s. Spring has arrived and the fleece lined pants are becoming too hot to wear on warm days. And they're getting too big. So I went and bought a new pair. I bought a 36. But I need to wear a belt to keep them up. So I'm going to buy a 34 next time I'm at the store.15

This is a HUGE HUGE NSV for me!! So I begin with a SHOCKED face! Lol!
Thursday afternoon I went out for a VERY special afternoon....the type that's planned and anticipated months in advance. Back when I "hoped" a perfect dress would fit without issue. As posted last week, the dress FITS but I had no idea how WELL it fit. Previously, I needed someone to zip up my back zipper. So I was somewhat mortified while dressing on THUR that in my excitement, I realized I had no helper. My husband was at work. Hmm....I have been fairly diligent with my yoga. So I began with the dress HALF ZIPPED and with my weight loss....was able to shimmy it over my smaller hips 😀. Then one hand was flexible enough to zip it to my traps. The other arm was flexible enough to reach my traps over my shoulder and VIOLA!! I ZIPPED THE DRESS UP ALL BY MYSELF. I WAS OVERJOYED!!! I remember the times this dress wouldn't zip at all and it was so frustrating 😤. I turned heads all afternoon in my red sheath "Barbie" dress accessorized with gold heels and accent jewelry. I am MOST PROUD that I now am slim and FIT enough to be an ACTIVE PARTICIPANT in dressing myself!! To be honest, I probably haven't felt this way since I was four years old....I just don't remember 😉😅 Losing the weight is SUCH a confidence builder in SO many ways!! It's really a remarkable experience. Your life REALLY opens up to you in unexpected ways the MOMENT you decide to start!! 😍25 -

My NSV is I just took the High Anxiety Dog for a walk. He has graduated from being terrified of trains to barking and howling at them, presumably to scare them away.
We were in the middle of the Square, which is hopping tonight, and heard the train horn up the way.
Without even thinking about it, we both took off running to catch it at our crossing at the corner of the Square.
I saw people looking at us, smiling and laughing, and realized in our joy, we were flying lightly and easily across the lawn, not out of breath, just in the sheer exhilaration of racing to the corner to get there in time.
I read one lady’s mind clear as day “Look at that greyheaded woman running! That looks like so much fun! I wish I could do that!”
And yes, we scared that train right out of town!
I know it’s a small NSV, but to run at the drop of a hat, without thinking, without it being an emergency, without gasping or wheezing, or bursting out into a sweat, what a pleasure.20 -
I had to buy some new clothes for my daughter's college graduation.27 -
@springerling62 Thank you so much! It's a lipstick red sheath with a mock turtleneck....completely sleeveless. It shows off my newly toned arms and stops a few inches above my knee and is really flattering on my newly emerged hourglass figure. I just love it!!

When I was on my raft trip last week, some of the other folks were describing people they knew. In talking about one person, a friend looked at me and said, "He's built lean, like you."
I still don't think of myself as lean. I'm at a healthy weight; I know that with my brain even if I don't always accept it fully. But lean? Maybe I am and just need to allow myself to fully believe.

my "fat" jeans go on easily without unbuttoning or unzipping them with plenty of room to spare. almost ready to dig out old thinner me jeans. also, my "fat" t-shirts are extremely loose fitting. Glad I saved all my old clothes. feels good and is boost for my confidence and motivation to keep on truckin!13

OK this is a sort of cockeyed NSV.
I do needlework to keep my hands busy and out of my mouth.
I sat down Sunday and sewed backings on and stuffed seven needlepoint pillows. A year’s worth of projects. Potentially tens of thousands of calories avoided.
I went to place them around the house and realized the house is covered with needlepoint pillows. The guest room beds already have five or six apiece on them.
I am literally out of places to put needlepoint pillows.
And let’s not even talk about afghans and blankets. 😗
I may have to take up smoking to keep my hands busy, lol.13 -
