    Short answer ... it was about 80% kitchen / 20% gym. Meaning I had to learn to eat *correctly*.

    I used a high protein (50%), moderate carb(25%), moderate fat(25% (<20g sat) plan that I made for myself eating about 2000 calories a day. I am NOW doing 40%P/35%C/25%F (still at 2000 base + exercise calories) which is more carbs than I used to eat .. but that is what I do to keep the diet "fresh" and the body confused. The carbs I do eat I try to make count .. good complex carbs from oats and beans and such.
