Walk was lovely yesterday. Today will be another sitting down day although my workroom is in my loft so lots of walking up and down stairs.

30/05/2024 12.03 happy with weight this morning, thought I would have a large uptick. Everything went out the window last night. Last Meal with daughter before she goes away. I will be happy to still at this weight tomorrow2 -

I don't seem to be one of those people that will lose with just reducing calories alone. It seems like I absolutely need to work out combined with the reduced calorie. Boo..
@ManifestingToday - thank you for your continued encouragement..it really does help and I look forward to coming out here, reading through others journeys. I am sorry you are dealing with Knee pain, is it? I am just about 5 weeks post lateral meniscectomy. Cycling before my procedure definitely helped me build strength in quad before surgery which has 100% helped my recovery from surgery. Its hard to exercise when your injured.. I did a lot of lap swimming from Jan- March as well since I could not do weight bearing.
I am not currently taking a multi. Possibly something to consider. I tried the basic old Century multi's for women a while back and it made me feel sick to my stomach so I need to go do some looking.
@kellyswimmer - stress can have a huge impact- I am learning that ! I don't have kiddos , and teenagers are terrifying !
@kebass01 - yard work and outside work wiped me out on Monday/Tuesday , good for you to get a walk in and hopefully it worked out some of that lactic acid causing the soreness.

May 17 194. Grrr but I guess better than a gain. Went to epcots flower and garden festival and tried lots of yummy food. It helps all the walking and really only try a bite of everything instead of a whole meal. Goal this week is to fill out mfp fully everyday.
May 24 194 UGH. I have been putting in my data everyday this but it was a super stressful week at work so I didnβt workout but once and had a drink after work three days this week. Goal is to keep putting everything into mfp and to workout.
May 31 194 ugh. Guess I need to cut out the second coffee or the snack after work.
@HappyDonkey75 I have to workout and have low calories. Iβm so short and have a low metabolism that if I donβt work out it seems like I donβt get any type of deficit.1 -

Slightly baffled by the sudden loss although my efforts to drink more water yesterday did result in several trips to the bathroom in the night. Iβve recorded it anyway but may need to remind myself that itβs an unrealistic water fall! Iβm also aware that losing weight too quickly isnβt good as it can come from muscle instead of fat loss and I really need to increase my strength, not lose it!
End of month waist measurement is 76cm, so 1.5cm loss this month.

I'll have to be happy that I didn't gain for the month. And once this cycle ends (please go away for good...), I should see a drop. I've been careful with calories, but I need to ramp up alternative exercise for June.
@HappyDonkey75 You did great this month, and I'm glad you're going to stick with us. My specialist appt didn't find anything wrong with the knee other than some early signs of osteoarthritis, which I knew were occurring. I followed up with a remote PT friend and she thinks this is something muscular around the knee, since the pain/issue is only at a specific angle of the knee. I can lightly walk on it, and I can even balance on one leg on it; I just can't put my full weight on it when climbing stairs, when my knee is at around a 30% angle. So I'm on the hunt for a local PT person that can help me. Thank you! And I hope you are continuing to heal and see all that range of motion come back! Oh, and with the multivitamins -- I take a generic from the grocery store. Most of the stores have them -- they're just a circular red multivitamin (I think one lab must make it for the whole US, lol). I do find some of the bigger pills with their specialized formulas made me nauseated. Definitely take them with food -- I usually wait until I eat breakfast later in the morning to take it. This is what I usually take (just so you have a picture), but I don't pay that price -- they usually go on sale at my grocery store BOGO and I buy two bottles and that lasts my husband and I for the year!

@kellyswimmer Despite multiple stress points you did great this month - so happy for you!
@jennigerding19 I find that too - I have to work out to drop, and it is usually only consistent in dropping when I'm 1200 cal or below AND exercising. I could do that easily as a 20 year old with boundless energy; not so much in my 50's. I do wish there was a safe, effective pill that interrupts that hunger signal. Emphasis on safe. Holding out hope.
@SofaKween You had time away and still dropped weight -- you did great! Keep at it!

Made it! 9.4lbs this month!! I had all my calories in Taco Bell yesterday for lunch and kept myself tight that night with a lot of water to flush out the sodium. Going hard these last two months and taking a small breather next month with a smaller goal. We will be leaving for vacation for 11 days too so going to give myself some grace. Great job this month everybody!!3 -
