😀 Welcome all new first timers to this challenge and "Hello again" to those returning for another month, another year, another round. 😀

I joined back in September of 2021, which was my first month back on MFP. In the first 9 months, I lost 40 pounds and use this challenge as motivation to stay on track. It is nice to have a medium-term goal that gets broken down into manageable chunks.

Pick your own goal, check in once per week, and at the very end of the month. Let's keep encouraging each other & staying focused on our individual goals.

You can change the dates to suit you, but try to keep it weekly as it shows off the weekly progress better😀

Pick whatever unit suits you -- lbs, kg’s or stones.

For those unsure how to do your weekly weight input:
When you want to do your weekly update do a search for your original post, copy and paste as a new post in the add post box then you can edit in your new weekly weight. A lot of people also maintain their post in a notes application on their device and just cut and paste into a new post.

It’s not a race go at your on pace, imagine where you could be in 6 months time!😀

    Stayed pretty much the same since February of this year……I will focus on more fresh foods and activities even with a family vacation coming up. The way I will do this is to be mindful of planning out what I eat and drink, otherwise logging after the fact usually doesn’t result in my weight loss goals.

    My name is Donna. I am 64 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018.

    06/01-182.4-(Trend Weight: 185.3)- A bit of an increase today but after a nearly 6 lb loss in 3 days I kind of expected it to level off. Focusing on good habits and continued progress for this month. Maybe the heat will help me to increase my water. I’ve been a little lax on that lately. Good luck everyone this round.     06/02-183.4-(Trend Weight: 185.2)- I had another one of my “becoming-too-common” snack fests last night. While I stuck mainly to my “approved snacks”, it still put me over on cals, carbs and every macro. I realized later that I had not even really been hungry. I think it was more habit than anything. I have been doing great at sticking to my pre-logged meals that are all within plan and bound to show results. And then comes that evening self-sabotage. I’ve tried everything I can think of including making my final meal so late that I’ve even eaten at 10 or 11 pm all to no avail. Those snacks are going to come afterward, usually about an hour later, no matter what! I have even woke up from a hard sleep to go potty and found my snacks and ate them half-asleep. It’s time for me to research what I can do about this habitual habit that has become much more than annoying. It reminds me of my hand-to-mouth habit I had to break when I quit smoking 17 years ago. That’s when I gained nearly 90 pounds and this whole mess began! Another pound up today. I didn’t go out of town yesterday or today. I didn’t need a restaurant meal so close to that snacking fest. It will have to wait.
